As long as they don't know what it is.... lol Was in a UPS store that other day and ended up in a friendly dissusion with the clerk there as she refused to help ship a rifle for a lady there... When I told the lady to go to the Post Office the clerk tried telling me that the USPO wouldn't do it either. When I asked her how she knew this info to be true she replyed that is what she was told by her manager and that all firearms could only be shipped by gun stores..... She didn't seem to like being told that she and her manager were both very wrong....

Yes it is going to be weird.... Who the hell would expect it to not be weird? But you are both the Husband and the Father and should behave in an Adult manor here.... To be truthful depending on the quality of parenting received some 14 year old children behave better and show more maturity than some of the adults who command a keyboard.... -
Like buying ammo it don't matter that you don't need none now, if its on sale you buy in bulk.....

Wondering here if anyone is using either a pellet stove or fireplace insert? Not that Tenn winters have much on Mich winters but I'm looking for alternatives to the condensing unit type heat pump that is currently in our home as our elect bills were sky high last winter. The heat pump works it just does not put out "heat" like the natural gas furnace that my wife was/is accustomed to and she complains that she is always cold. There is no NG where we live so that's out. We currently have a vent free propane fireplace for "extra" heat but as our home was originally built as a summer vacation home and the fireplace was a decorative afterthought in that it only has a 100 pound tank, and I can't have anything bigger above ground. So two of my options would be a wood burner or a pellet burner.... My wife wants absolutely nothing to do with a wood burning stove/insert etc for lots of reasons that I simply can't talk her out of mainly as I'm not home for 4 weeks out of every 6 weeks... But I've mentioned pellet inserts and how decorative some brands are and at least this idea did not get shot down while still on the runway... So looking for some real life experiances from y'all on these pellet burners.

Sorry for the loss of your father.... If they had been willed to me from my father there is absolutely no way I'd trade or sell any of them ever....

No question some of the biggest bald faced liars are in the gooberment but the thing is none of them are that good at it.... There is no way that they could orchestrate such an elaborate ruse without screwing up somewhere, something or someone talking....

I'm thinking that with the general soft mentality of the average collage student that they were too terrified to do anything but die....

And where in Pete's comment does he say that he no longer has to fill out the proper paperwork etc? They already have your info on file and run the background check before a "known" customer arrives....

Waffle House refuses service to Uniformed, armed soldier
teecro replied to Glenn's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
And before this Waffle House was on your list? (1) Everything about WH turns me away from seedy locations, run down buildings, and nasty food... (2) They are well known for their stance on guns and I've long made it an effort to not patronize business that don't welcome legal gun carry. (3) Evey detail that comes out about this story stinks a bit more than their deep fryer.... -
Here is how I understand it... If the ATF form 4473 was filled out as a rifle then the lower can never be made into a pistol... And you are also never supposed to even for fun while sitting in your closet are you to attach a lower with a stock to a pistol upper.... The ATF will come and arrest you sight unseen....

I always get a kick out of people who feel the need to bash brands such as RIA by comparing them to the likes of Kimber... Well no kidding there is quite the price spread between the two and quite frankly if I wanted a Kimber I'd buy one but I find them overpriced.... RAI, ATI and CITADELS are all quite nice for their pricepoint....

I'm no expert by any means but air has to be able to enter as well as exit and air will not be entering via an exit when it is exhausting heat.

From a resent read on another forum don't be surprised if you make an insurance claim and if they realize that the car was not locked which is evident by the fact that it was not "broken into" that the claim may be denied due to owner neglagence...

Wouldn't be the first time I've limped home or made it safely off the road with a broken clutch cable/hose on both car and bike alike.....
