  1.   Sure you can....   http://gocaribbean.about.com/od/cuba/a/How-To-Travel-To-Cuba-If-You-Are-An-American.htm   Cuba welcomes American's and their money the trouble arises if they stamp your passport thus you get into trouble when you return to the US so they don't stamp your passport....
  2. That does not equate to a salvage title unless damage is more than worth....
  3.   Why will it have a salvage title? Damage is not all that severe; I don't see how it could be considered totaled.
  4.   LOL... Knew I'd get a rise outa someone here...
  5. I thought by 4 years old you guys had the youngins on unsweetened tea?
  6.   Tuff Gard with Slick-50 or without?
  7. It is what it is nothing illegal a thread adaptor.... How you are caught using one is what makes the difference.
  8. You mean to tell me that you've not been claiming and paying the required sales tax on internet purchases all along?
  9.   FYI It's been a non issue flying in and out of O'Hare for a number of years... I did it myself in 2011 & 2013 counter help nor TSA so much as raised an eyebrow.
  10. I still believe and I turned 50 last year....
  11.   Generally people who live in an apartment complex are not your friends & neighbors and are fearful to get involved or they may very well know who is involved...
  12.   You got the sequence down.... Running a plate will net the registered owner and from there the officer may deside to run the owners name and that will bring up a HCP or in my states case a CPL .... And as to checking reciprocity I never cross a states line without having STUDIED their fact sheet via www.handgunlaw.us beforehand...
  13.   This is where and why one needs to be really careful as there are states that have totally fudged up views and laws concerning guns; many states are even willing to ignore federal laws and arrest you for having a gun in transport mode. They absolutely do not care that they have violated your federal rights...
  14. While I might not like having to carry a card to get the discount I'll dang sure not be foolish enough to "politely refuse" the discount that I can have by patronizing a store willing to give one. The same to be said for getting an SS discount from any business that willingly honors you and offers discounts for being senior...
  15.   Sometimes it can be caused by meds being taken or some mental dementia can turn people mean and/or confrontational...
  16.   Makes me sad to think that a young girl will never see her father alive again and that he died while returning a text to her...   I think that the old man is in deep trouble here as he started this altercation, left the theater, returned to his seat and restarted the argument and when it escalated he shot and killed the man. Way too many bad choices made here.
  17.   Well why in the world would I bother to tell the DA that I purposefully aimed for a non vital location such as an arm or leg? If you so fear for your safety/life that you feel compelled to defend it you shoot for center mass of the largest target provided to you at that moment and you do not stop until you no longer fear for your safety/life. After a shooting (and pretty much any other time too) never talk to the police without legal consult it is afterall your right.
  18. Cool thanks for the info. I've got an AK pistol I would not mind adding a folder to. Not sure yet how I'm going to build my next. AR as in pistol or SBR...
  19. I'm not having much luck with the search feature here so if y'all will tolerate a semi hijack can I ask for some guidance on TN stance on SBR as I take it is legal with a tax stamp? We can't have SBR in MI just yet; another reason to exit stage south...
  20.   Of that I'm sure you are right.... We usually get spoiled for the towns we live in; I know that I am as not only do I have 4 or 5 gun stores to shop for the most part they know me by name when I walk in and I've got a couple Ace Hardwares nearby to keep me from crossing town and going to Lowes or HD. When we come down in March we are going to look outside of Nashville by 30 minutes or so for a couple of days as well as around Knoxville for sure too but if the time allows we will check out some other areas.   I hope to find myself surrounded by folks who have similar "atrobutes" that will be very important too......
  21. This is truly going to be one of the hardest choices to make; knowing that their are so many locations in the state that are down right grand to live in. I've only got experience with driving through the east side and spending but a few hours over the last couple of years in Gatlinburg while we have vacationed in the foothills of the Blue Ridge in NC.   Just when I think I've got it narrowed down (sort of) another comment is made or another idea pops into the head and hunting I go on the internet....
  22.   I've had the same experiance with them too on a complete upper that I ordered while it showed that it was in stock it took weeks before it was shipped... All other parts orders came quickly; they were even quick to correct a mistake on their part too. I only bothered to contact them via email when needed.
  23.   Got to stand right there with you JC why should an American be forced to comply with what is plain & simple "GUN CONTROL" in order to defend themselves outside the confines of their property? Training is something one should feel compelled to do in order to be more proficient not something you are required to do just to defend one's self or family....
  24. Know this up front: Nothing I own is stock; everything I own is customized to my liking....   You have been fore warned.... :)
  25.   Very good post.... When my adult son made the same comment about him dieing doing what he loved I just about snapped; while I feel a grain of sadness for their death I'm also outraged at the outpouring they received as they died not only putting their dumb asses at risk how many other lives did they put at risk at the same time?
