  1.   What did you expect? They are Pringles! Are they even made from potato's?
  2.   If you do not want a gun to fire then you simply don't pull the trigger...   A good friend came by one day with a new LCP in his pocket bragging on how small it was and when he showed it to me he exclaimed that the chamber was empty; when he handed it to me I set it down and promptly removed the staples from a desktop stapler and handed it to him and said here is a fair exchange....   I rough house with my grandkids all the time and usually I'm armed with a cocked & locked SIG P938 it does not worry me as I know that guns don't "just go off" while they are encased in a well made and well fitted holster
  3. Even when wrong the customer is always right......   Sales people should just smile and nod their head curiously...
  4.   You sure know your stuff.... Yes if I'm not mistaken the 26" or under is so that it can be carried loaded in our cars under our CPL   I'm really just getting into this AR & AK pistol stuff so I've got a lot to learn. Nice to find folks like yourself who are well versed to help curb the learning process. Me I'm thinking of staying with the SIG brace on both so as to avoid the SBR tax stamp complications.
  5. OS thanks for the clear info; this stuff is confusing even on a good day... For some reason my mind is/was stuck in the mud on the 26" LOA must have something to do with MI laws as we "JUST" got legalized SBR not more than a few weeks ago... MI has been slow to come around to getting in line with federal regs....
  6. 26" and under nets you a pistol over 26" crosses over into SBR territory...

    SCCY 9mm

While I don't have one I've heard more bad reports about them from owners in various forums than I've heard good... If your looking for a cheap reliable DAO mirco 9 I'd go with a KEL-TEC PF-9
  8.   Because if we do not push back the rules and/or laws get made up by the folks who "just" have the public's safety in mind and the problem with that is that it is a broad stamp across the board and before you know it you are living even further under gun control...
  9.   Elementary my dear Watson they enforce their opinion or version of the law; and how dare we have a differing thought process than they do....
  10.   Whole lot of arrogance and do as I say because I said so is what I see above....    Do we have an "ignore" feature here? Might want to use it....
  11. After 2 pages of conversation I don't understand why the OP has not seen fit to reply back to his own starter thread....
  12. While I can do without pot holders and Emu oil lip balm you really do need vendors selling nuts, fudge, popcorn and the likes of to help keep people inside and looking around a little bit longer....
  13.   First off welcome... 2nd how many gun shows have you previously organized? 3rd they should have reasonable pricing. 4th the beef jerky should be free...
  14. And just what is your solution to the myriad of locations that we all go into everyday where we are not allowed to carry regardless of permit? Post Office comes to mind as well as many many other locations... If someone breaking into my car and steals a gun that I'm forced to leave behind as a law abiding citizen I will be upset over the violation of my personnel space but I'll not bat an eye over how it is ultimately used as after all I'm not the one who broke the stupid law in the first place... Apply your logic to our homes and it would suggest that we should not leave our guns at home alone either!
  15. You are under absolutely no obligation to draw a line between using your hands and using your gun... Are you in reasonable fear for your life yes or no? If the answer is yes then you draw your gun and you use it until you are no longer in danger.
  16.   Actually that's not entirely true anymore.... As long as you may legally carry in your home state you may carry concealed "inside" of your car while passing "through" IL...
  17.   Sure why not many of those who've already got their guns and permits wouldn't care one bit; as evident with many of the postings here...
  18. This I did not know that TN has such a low limit on beer....   MI has craft brew on just about every other corner and I will dearly miss Round Barn Catharsis it is a Russian Imperial Stout that has been aged in whiskey barrels and tastes like it too at also comes in at either 12 or 13 percent ABV   Guess that we will have to stop by the corner store on the way out and buy up as much of our favorite beer as we can reasonably carry with us on moving day....
  19.   This is the part that worries me most.... Same category as the duck or deer hunter who has no use for AK's, AR's and thus cares less if they get banned as it does not affect them... YET !!!
  20. While I generally suck at taking pictures here are a couple pics of some of my crew. The M85 (AK pistol) now has had the wood blacked out with spray-on truck bed liner and a shorter rail hung from the underside to which it sports a combo light & laser. The top dust cover is hinged for return to zero and has a quick-pull pull out pin. The ARP above now has a Hogue grip and a SB15 brace too... Below is my N-PAP M70 sporting the blacked out spray-on truck bed liner and Hogue grips it too has a hinged dust cover with quik-pull pin. Bird Cage Flash Suppressor and a see-thru optics riser with 40mm red-dot finish it out; I do plan on taking some length out of the riser so that I can install a peep-sight. W
  21.   Ok great so it's not just me either.... I tried canting the brace on the tube several different ways and thought WTF this just feels too odd....
  22.   Hardly anything bad ever came out of Houma LA... I knows dis each and every time I looks in da mirror! My favs used to be Eastway, Geno's, or Ray's Seafood; heck I growed up with Ray's being at best a 10 min walk from da house...
  23.   Yes OS you are correct in that in MI it is a trespass charge, and I see that TN has placed the charges higher on the shelf; I'll surely be cautious of this once I'm on your soil. My point was more to indicate that MI has had open carry without permit/training for quite some time and very few business are posted as no carry zones...
  24. I wouln't tell on ya...
