Fully expect so.... Pointing out that ignorance of the law is inexcusable is priceless though....
-
Nicely ask them if they have the time to show you the law that backs up their statement.... If nothing is on the books clearly stating that it is illegal then by default it is legal..... Surely TN has a searchable data base?

As long as your ok with every Muslim corner gas station, or ethnic hotel owner putting up signs banning you for just being white then I say go for it..... (hint of sarcasm)

Start of the slippery slope.... What's next no blacks? No Indians? No long hair hippy type? No rednecks?

Springfield 1911 firing pin spring weight ?????
teecro replied to tercel89's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Actually to the best of my understanding is the two work together to all but prevent an accidental discharge in the event of dropping the gun "just right" The titanium pin being so light is not able to build much weight based inertia if dropped and the heavy spring all but captures the pin in its resting place..... -
I had one of those and for a pocket gun I really liked it to some degree.... While there are smaller and lighter pocket guns this gun is very thin with smooth rounded corners for the most part; once slipped into a soft pocket holster it sits very comfy in the front pocket of a pair of jeans. It also tends to fit small, med and large hands fairly well with its interchangeable mag bases; I have fairly large hands and I found it easy to hold despite its smaller size. Its a S&W and it will go boom each time you pull the trigger without fail. As to the LOOONG double action trigger it takes a while to get used to and I really never did. It gets better with use but it is still a long azz trigger. The laser makes for a great pet toy when the gun is unloaded; I think the new ones are from CT and have a better on/off button. Mine was on the frame above the index finger and that sucked.

Ok good was just making sure..... I'll have to post up pics of my completed ARP and AKP both done with SB15 when I gets home next month....

5.56 out of a 7.5" will still work on zombies right?
-
Nope that's not how it is worded... KY honors all other states permits.... No other stipulations....

AL, AR, IN, KY, MI, NC recognizes all other states resident permits... Likely others I know these as they are states I travel...

Folding SB 47 or SB15 brace ?
teecro replied to Keyless's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
No need for a ruling as it does not change how the weapon functions or its use. This is how my M85 is built. A lot of guys have done this over on the AK Files... -
Do any of you feel anxious when you carry?
teecro replied to bird333's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Yep just like wallet, keys, folding knife, pen light..... My favored carry is a P938 in a custom tailored UBG Regulator holster it is so dang comfy to carry that I can all but forget that it is there... -
Well said.....

Are you absolutely sure that you could have "snatched" that gun from the gents holster without getting bitch slapped across the aisle? Just because there is no lock and key across the holster a well fitted leather holster can hold guns quite tightly. Very few of my leather holsters have a safe strap and everyone of them I'm sure would securely hold my gun in place even if I was hanging upside down like a bat....

Absolutely! Forgot about that...

This is also from working on a very busy ship with a small crew and NO dedicated cook so we've learned to make the best of the Crockpot and to be truthful some of the best meals we get are spooned out of that Crockpot too.... No matter if its chill, beef or port roast it matters not if its cooked low and slow it going to be good. That or super high heat and serve the meat nearest to rare....

Bite me.... While I'll admit its a cheaters method I'm simply not home enough to warrant playing with a smoker... More power to ya but I don't got that time!

B I N G O ! ! ! I try my best to not let a dumbass bring me down to their level except when dealing with my wife.... I much rather to not allow someone else's shitty outlook on life ruin my day... Smile and just nod...

My vote is for an upright without a defrost system as they are easy to find what you need and with no defrost system they have way less moving parts. Ours has the cooling grids built into two of the shelves and no fan inside or outside to go out.... You decide when to defrost it and we find that ours can go a year or more between defrosting. When it was inside the house it ran all but completely silent, same in the garage too. Yeah an upright uses a wee bit more energy but so what....

I have two Citadels one 5" in .45 and a compact in 9mm both are very well fitted guns for their price point; they are made by Arnscor as you pointed out the same company that puts on the Rock Island Armory... Citadels have a higher level of fit and finish than a RIA

9 mm Commander what are your options? 5" Government or 3.5" Officers frame are your options.... While I'm sure someone makes a Commander it's going to a higher dollar maker such as Kimber or better.... Nothing hard about shooting a .45 ACP in Commander frame at all; its got to be one of my favorite setups out of the entire 1911 family. Points the absolute best in the hand and recoil is just a big soft push...

I've also had great success with mixing up a beef or chicken broth with some juice (orange, apple, pineapple etc) or even Coke and whatever seasoning comes to mind and wrapping the ribs in foil with the mixture and tossing in the oven for 4 or 5 hours with the heat turned no higher than 225 degree. Finish them up on the grill with some yummy sauce to get them nice and sticky.... Last time I cooked them this way there were 4 adults chewing every morsel off the bone and reaching for more till the plate are empty...
-
If you are a complete kitchen stranger then get a Crockpot and your favorite BBQ sauce and put them to cook overnight or longer on low heat.... There is just about a 100 % chances that they will suck right off the bone and taste flipping great....

Noted this very problem on the home we are now leasing; how is it you build a 350K home and install a 6 dollar flex hose? This is on my hit list as we are considering buying the house.

Clean the over-temp sensor and exhaust system in the dryer. Make sure that your entire duct is clear of lint build up and that the weather flapper is free and clear too. You could very well be over-temping and shutting down on a thermal safety as these will reset themselves after a few minutes but you have to restart the dryer.
