I liked mine a lot. Only issue I had was the large grip insert would shrink over time and a few months later, it would put just enough pressure on the mag well so mags won't drop free. Beretta kept sending me new grip inserts but ended up selling it after a while. Only seem to happen with the large grip.

HK P2000 and P2000SK would be the smaller cousins. Not as ergonomic as the P30 but very comfortable.

Muzzle flash depends a lot on ammo. Good quality ammo doesn't seem to produce much.

I use the large grip insert in my p2000. Also, I am a thumbs off frame guy. I have similar issues with a P30 though. Wish they would sell the short slide release here. This thumbs forward grip has been a curse and a blessing. I can shoot faster, but gun selection's very limited now.

Yes. The safety level and the tang prevented any decent thumbs forward grip for me. I've got one USP that had a tang reduction which helps a lot. Safety still feels awkward on it, but it's very do-able now. Also, no problems on the P2000.

IDPA says it's a single action, but rest of the world considers XD's DAO.

I've got one for my HK. It was too loose and flat, so I took a hair dryer and reshaped it to fit a person. The thing works, but the leather is definitely cheap. First day I've worn it, it squeaked like a hamster in a wheel on crack.

1. What do I have to install/change out to shoot .40 S&W? A standard barrel for G22 will fit. 2. What do I have to install/change out to shoot 9mm? New 9mm CONVERSION barrel and 9mm mags. If you want it to be reliable, a new extractor, trigger housing, and spring load bearing. 3. Is there is difference between the .40 and .357 magazines? Just the markings. 4. Any recommended sources for magazines and 357 Sig ammo? I heard Georgia Arms has a good sale on 357 Sig ammo.
