No, I didn't do fingerprints and a CLEO sign off, I worked with my local Gun shop/Class 3 dealer, and they were sure that it was not yet required and my application would be accepted before the change. Time will tell I guess :-)

Just set up a trust about a fortnight ago and submitted my first ever form for an SBR I purchased. So, being the optimist...the wait is really going to suck but maybe for every other NFA item i subsequently buy I can happily say "we'll it didn't suck as much as the wait on the first one"...of course, my fiancée is happy to remind me I've been wrong before..... :-)

Feel out of place saying welcome as I only joined TGO yesterday....but I just finished building my 1st AR this week. I say my first AR as yes I'm definitely planning to build another. I got a seekins precision ar lower, installed a core lower parts set, magpul stock, grip and Bad lever. Then palmetto state armory had a complete upper for sale with a Midwest industries free float rail, 16" m4 profile barrel. Threw a cheap red dot and now am ready to take it to the range and see if it runs. It will be my first time shooting an AR as well so that should be interesting.... Hi, I've been in Knoxville for 13+ years and a gun owner for 9ish. Thought it was about time to join a forum. I'm a member at ORSA and use coal creek quite often. Starting to get into more interesting gun stuff as I've just created a trust and bought my first SBR, (about a week or two into an expected 9month wait.....) and also just completed my first build of an AR. Now the AR is done I can look at having a crack at 3 gun and see if I like it as much as I enjoy...er... I don't know...um... long walks along the beach and karaoke....also I'm an Aries. Cheers.
