I am kind of looking at it from the perspective of having dropped a few pennies on it i really want to get if just the way i want It So it may take a little research beford it gets done.

I am not totally sold on them yet. They are being considered due to limited choices for a STI. I just dont care for no dot front sight that it came with.
-
Second the recommendation for Sam. He would be well worth the trip and when it was done it would be done right. Just my. 02

Ok don't laugh but some years ago we purchased a pellet bb gun for my son a Daisy from tsc. Fiber optic front sight an it actually shoots pretty strait. If I recall it was around $29.00 he still has it today.

The shallow well would be for live stock. We have rain barrels now for filling up the ducks pool which works well.
-
Does that sound a bit steep? We were trying to do something for an emergency water supply. At that point I would almost try a shallow well. Thoughts?

Where is the best place to see them in Wilson county?

Randal; "Seems like a 5 minute job with the right wrench" indeed but when you are so far to the left even the simplest task is not possible when they don't agree.

Have yet to have anyone freak out yet. But for the record I prefer conceal carry.

Maybee get to know someone here. I am not a big fan of indoor ranges myself. Unless of course its raining out. I have not been to any public outdoor ranges since we moved here. I have spent a lot of hours working out back with a back blade and tractor though. Not sure about shooting on someones land for a fee. To be honest I am not sure how open people would be to that.

Fanatical open carry crowd I open carry a Springfield Professional daily.

I just found it odd that the same topic would be on two forumns that I Enjoy. Truth of the matter though TGO based on my experience has members who are more interested in sharing insight and ideas versus flaming those who don't drink the same cool aid.

Well not really. I just happen to have friends at ingo. So I still read it as well. But at any rate I wont comment on the SH discussion I just found it odd that I noticed a the topic here then when I checked in at ingo there was a very similar discussion ongoing there as well. In which there were some very similar trains of thought.

Not going to comment about it just find it kind of odd that there is a thread about Sandy Hook here and on the other site I read Ingo Indiana gun owners.

Found out a soft case fits over the back of the seat just fine and rides atop the rear fenders

I can say living in Porter County just outside Valparaiso Indiana they are a very real problem. They do indeed mate with domestic canines. The result is a fearless predator. They are far from cute little pups. Once they start cross breeding the pack instinct really kicks in. They are a very real threat to small dogs and small children alike. They are especially dangerous when their food supply gets disrupted. You can go on the web and download a call for them. The problem is if you see one there is probably 15 to 20. Not sure about here but in Indiana you can dispatch them year round. Not that I have anything against them but when they attack your livestock that's a problem. We had a 13 year old Golden mix who was deaf and blind. Great dog but some how they knew he could not see and it did not take them long learn what time he went out at night and they would be there waiting. There were four of them and they had no problem challenging me as well. So yeah you have a problem that you really need to address

I swear I need to put a gun rack on my tractor. I have been doing a bit of mowing and maintenance work on my range. In the evenings Seems like every time I go out there I run into something. This evening a blasted coyotee was making its way up front. And I really suspect that is what tore up one of our chickens.

Looking for some target ideas. Father son range time. He has a new Charger we are going to see if he likes a traditional scope or Red dot better. I am trying to think of some stuff so far I have some eggs and clay targets. Any other ideas for reactionary targets to put on the back stop? Thanks

About 4 years old. A store called Meijers regularly had them at that price. I would always pick up a brick or two each week. Looking back glad I stocked up
-
Incline Railway? And Railroad museum. That's a great idea. My son really likes old trains. Thanks
-
You have that right. For fathers day my son and I are going to send some lead down range. A brick of 22's about $15.00 experience priceless.

We ended up cooking it on the grill. Wasn't too bad. But j think a slower cooking method as suggested would be better. Funny I have not noted any more rabbits in our garden.
-
Thanks we have buttermilk on hand. We usually soak chicken breast in it overnight. It really seemed to skin really easy. What's odd is I had a lung shot but the 22 exited on the oppisite side near the rear leg.

Just took out the little bugger that has been feasting on our garden. Hate to waste it so I am going to look up how to clean it.
