Seems you might be on to something...not necessarily on TGO but most definitely out and about. Yesterday we didn't have time to get to my go to store Guns and Leather. We ended up going to a newer place near MJ. Place was fairly empty three people working there or at least they were employees. After about 5 minutes on guy comes over and asks if we need anything? My son explains to him we are looking for a holster for my wife. Instanty disinterested in helping at all now. Next he starts reading a text on his phone and walks away. Nice customer service there! So I am not sure how women became second class citizens with regards to exercising their rights? Rant off

Well just saying...would much rather have a conservative person who appreciates liberty and freedom than some of the other left leaning liberals who seem to be flocking to Nashville.

Ok so the 9mm and the 45 ACP seem to be a good value and fairly consistent. Anyone have any experience with the 308? Thanks

A few weeks ago I asked about .22's at the MJ Wally, the male clerk for that area said no at first and then said let me look. They had a stash behind other calibers that you couldn't see through the glass. FYI. Don't ask me why, limit horders I guess? edited in honor of OhShoot. Don't get me going on the MJ walmart ran in there one day on my way home wanted to grab a few boxes of Perfecta 45 ACP Guy told me we don't have any 22lr and walked away then the older gentleman think his name is Jim came by who is always nice guy and grabbed a two boxes of 45 for me.

I plan on adding a High-Power to my gun collection after the first of the year. I feel I have a good variety of guns to meet my self defense needs so that will not be the reason for this purchase. I am buying this gun with the intention of passing it down to my sons when the time comes. This will be the reason for most of my gun purchases in the future. I would like to pass on guns that have some significance in firearms history. Having spent most of my focus on Glock pistols I am not familiar with the High-Power at all. I fact I don't recall ever having laid eyes on one. I have researched the pistol and it does seem to stand out as an interesting firearm. I would appreciate any input on this gun as far as the following is concerned: 1) is this a reliable firearm 2) are there any common issues with I should know about 3) is my research correct is this an important firearm from historical perspective I appreciate any help y'all can give and any recommendations on other firearms that would be interesting pieces to pass down would be appreciated. Thanks 1. Yes 2. None that I am aware of 3. Depends on your perspective? I can tell you I purchased one a while ago for the very same reason. Its one of the earlier models and it is a classic. For me spending time with my son shooting is priceless. He is 11 now and is very capable with anything from a 22 to a 10mm. He happens to appreciate the 1911 platform as well the Highpower. He can shoot the plastic wonders as well but according to him there just not the same. I am guessing if you were interested someone might let you take one for a spin. Also if it ever comes to fruition a CMP 1911 would be hard to beat as an heirloom. Good luck.

McNairy County Sheriff Guy Buck is a genuinely nice guy and supports 2A.[url=http://www.wbbjtv.com/video/west-tn-sheriffs-back-citizens-with-carry-permits/]http://www.wbbjtv.com/video/west-tn-sheriffs-back-citizens-with-carry-permit Well one would hardly expect anything less from a county where Bufford was sheriff. Too bad he was way before my time. Bet he was one interesting person.

Will also recommend the Sr9c shoots well light recoil backstrap can easily go from strait to curved. Saftey has positive engagement if that important to you and gives you options for capacity. My wife has one and it has been reliable nice trigger as well.

Fireplace insert with blower?
-
Ok I have narrowed down and want to make the purchase this week. He has a Henry 22lr already and loves it. I have never shot a 357 before so I dont know what the recoil would be like and if it would be a bit much for an 11 year old?

Can you say Perfecta

Have any of you guys/girls had any issues with printing while carrying Its not so much the printing as it is peoples mannerisms. As others have said people don't notice anything that is not on their phone. Its sad the lack of sa that the majority of the public demonstrates. But again people do not notice anything. I carry at church normally I don't carry iwb its not practical or preferred. But I bought. A Hybrid holster that's iwb for Sunday only. I was sure everyone would know I was carrying because to me the black clips stood out like a sore thumb. One person noticed.

Directv; Pretty basic package. Currently paying $140 per month. I compared this against Comcast and Charter and found we were paying way too much for the service provided. Called them and asked to renegotiate our agreement since we are now out of contract. Now, with taxes we are paying $70 for the same service. Annual savings of $840. Also have a paper bill coming to the house each month. We had Directv for some time no contract when they refused to negotiate rates we sent them to the curb. Been three years now haven't missed them in the least. Good for you for looking into it and getting a better value. Ps I do here that 1911 far out performs ADT with out the recurring expense every month
