Anti-Guns in Bars Restaurateur's Flagship Joint Shutters Doors

I had recently spoken with one of the trainers at Panera in Brentwood I jokingly said Glad I can still come in here I reallly like their Smoked ham and Swiss. But I will find other options when the Gun Buster sign goes up. She let me know that the owner would not be posting any such signs in his store. Some do get it. -

Demos? -
Wilson county really no limit on height and the area could be as wide as 30 feet.

Good luck on that I am having to make the switch because of work. I never figured it would be this involved to decide on the right one. At least I am learning quite a bit. Coworkers have indicated they have had zero issues with some of the Springfield 4 inch models. Which has really made me take a look at the Range officer as well just not real keen on the front sight on it would really prefer night sights but I guess that an easy fix.

Salvage yard indeed. Let me see 6 trucks several cars assorted trash. Understanding that stuff might have some value to him. But the main thing I am trying to achieve is privacy. For some reason they seem to be so enthralled in our lives we can hardly go outside with him wanting to know what we are doing? Not sure what ever happened to minding your own business?

Facetious alert? Would that be purple then? (One of the other boards I check in on every once in a while puts every thing meant to be sarcastic in purple font) Besides if I indirectly contribute to their tax base they will waste the small amount so fast it would not matter. From what I am hearing the Professionals are very nice. Still think I want as close as I can get to it for off hours so I leaning hard towards the operator

Ideally I would like a visual barrier. I don't mind mowing down the line I do it about once a week when its nice out any way. I just want something to block out the salvage yard next door. I have about 150 feet I really want to block as soon as possible. Figured I could run it the length of the property while I was at it. So low cost is really important. Thanks everyone for the suggestions they are much appreciated.

Trying to look at it from a different perspective of supporting someone who works hard for a living versus looking at it as providing tax revenue to the state of IL. I had not ruled them out but it was not initially my first choice. But based on several factors it looks like its going to be the best choice. Based on research both on line and conversations with co-workers it appears their customer service is first rate. I don't think I am caving my principles but rather being open minded to the fact that sometimes you have to look at things as a whole and make your decision on a combination of things.

Can you mow it? I am looking for something along the sides of our property. When I say mow it can you just hit the unwanted growth area with a rear cut mower? Thanks
-
Anyone have any ideas what to plant for a natural barrier? I am looking for something that grows fast and provides good coverage. Inexpensive would be a plus as well.

MC operator. No the light is not a requirement.

Ok so at this point it looks like it is going to be narrowed down to the TRP or the Operator. Right now I am leaning towards the operator. Thoughts

Thanks I don't have small hands and a 92G fits just fine. The 1911 fits very well for me. The weight is a non issue for me I have never had occasion to discharge more than 4 rounds so I don't see capacity or weight being an issue. The main imperative is that i need to have complete confidence in it right out of the box. Thanks

Budget is about $750 to $1500. Here is my beef against buying a Springfield I want a US made 1911 and having lived near the Peoples Republic of Chicago I really do not want to support that state by virtue of giving them one dime in revenue. As I narrow it down I have really decided the wish list should include 4 inch barrel night sights and I must say if I could look at it from the stand point of supporting a hard working member of society I would really look into one of the TRP or Range officer Compact. Realistically what difference will a inch of barrel length make? I am over 6ft and about 180 lbs Thoughts

Guess that's the nice thing about having a Tennessee HCP now I can carry what ever I choose off hours now. With that being said I am still going to make the switch to a 1911. From where I am sitting it really looks like the Ruger is going to be hard to beat for the money. If I could get one not in stainless I would consider it a done deal.

Ok for me at the end of the day a side arm is a tool. I am not an expert on handguns. So with that being said I drive a Honda always been reliable dependable and affordable. I have friends that are total car nuts its their thing to me its a car. For the most part I am very practical and budget conscious. Not cheap but I like to get the best quality I can afford. So now I am going to be switching to a 1911. I would like to find a good quality one for off hours that wont break the bank. I have not ruled out a TRP. And in all actuality I would prefer not to spend my money on a Springfield.( NOT THAT THEY ARE NOT A QUALITY PIECE BUT FOR ME I WILL NOT EVEN REMOTELY SUPPORT THE STATE OF IL) its a mater of principle and another. story. But if possible I would like to get the best quality 1911 for the money. I have just started my research and I am looking for thoughts and suggestions. As of now I am looking at a Ruger SR 1911 commander as well as possibly a Para Ordnance or a Colt New agent or even a Remington. I am going to qualify my next question with this I have stock side arm in which I can out shoot some friends with their side arms costing double what mine did. Again not saying that some of the high end ones are not really nice. But is the average person going to see a difference in performance between a factory build and a custom shop unit? Sorry for being long winded. Edited would appreciate suggestions on ones made in the US

1 not sure on the speed I do know we have comcast blast Internet we can have two rokus and computer and a tablet going at the same time no issues 2. Local stations are not on Roku a cheap antenna will fix that 3. On the set up you can pick the channels you want and you can easily add or remove channels later. 4. We have Netflix and that's the only service we pah for. Which is really reasonable considering you can have the same account on up to 4 devices. We don't subscribe to. Any. Of the fee based channels because there are channels for A and E History and many others for free plus Utube has most any thing on it. Once you get used to being your own programming director its great. Watch what you want when you want. You can start watching and finish later. I travel for work extensively and rarely do I watch cable in the hotels.

Texas Road House. They have those here?

We have 2 rokus have had. Them since kicking directv to the curb two years ago. After they sent us a hd box it worked two hours yes two hours! Then we called customer service to be told since we did not opt for the equipment protection plan we would have to pay $129.00 for them to send a box that worked. We did not own the equipment so I asked them why did I need to pay to protect equipment I did not even own? Then the guy got smart with me an told me "look you don't have to have directv" I agreed with him you can send a return. Box for every thing. We were formerly customers for 12 years! Funny now we get at least 3 special invitations. To come back each month. Roku is great. Nice thing about the 2 is that it has RCA out put jacks that work with older sets. Really like ours

So I am at the point where I have put enough rounds down range including multiple brands of the cheap stuff. That I am comfortable with it for it to be a bug. The only issue that needs to be addressed is the grips for me they are too flimsy. Anyone have any experience with some of the a.m. grips out there? I would prefer some type of wood grips that can be switched out having to cut trim etc. Thanks

Don't know thenjust know we could not even get anyone to acknowledge our existence. Seems like Sam's may be the way to go.

I am guessing they don't work on commission there. We waited about 15 minutes to try to purchase the one we wanted and we were ignored. The one associate walked past us three times and continued to focus on tuning the game he wanted to watch. So we just figured they made enough money for the day or who knows.

Anyone shop there? We did not have them in Indiana. Just wondering we went there looking for a Tv left about 20 minutes later. Just wondering
