I have a PSA 9mm carbine that I love. I upgraded the trigger using JP reduced power springs since the ramped bolt wouldn’t work with a Geissle or Hiperfire. I also recently bought a 4” PSS 9mm pistol upper. I used the Tork Mag glock conversion in a standard AR pistol lower that I have. I’ve run 50 rounds through it with no issues. Oddly enough, that lower has a Hiperfire trigger and it works great with the ramped bolt. So for me, PSA has been great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My 9mm carbine runs great as long as it is fed brass cases ammo. Anything other than brass, and it likes to jam in the first 2-3 rounds. I have 2 of the 20 round magazines. Shot indoor idpa style matches with it. Aside from the charging handle loosening and the ammo issue noted above, I was pleased. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We have a sheriff's deputy with his patrol car at our church during services. Bad guys like soft targets - not ones where there is a clear counter threat to them. That alone, in my opinion, is a huge deterrent. We have a main entrance that has a counter/buffet where greeters sit. While I am not 100% sure, I would suspect there is a panic button back there that just needs one push to alert police of a serious issue. If it were me, I would have 1-2 AR pistols mounted underneath the counter top that would be placed there every Sunday morning, with folks who know how to use them. I have a CAA Micro Roni Stab that fits easily in a small backpack or briefcase. With my Glock 19, and the red dot on it, I can engage targets up to 50 yards with no problem. I was reading an article yesterday saying that machine guns make bullets fly faster than rifles, and it quoted the army manual saying the M-16 had a max effective range of 400 yards, and the M-249 was 800 yards. They failed to appreciate that the 800 yard figure was because it was an area weapon, not a point weapon. I was a tank battalion logistics officer based in Germany. I remember calling my ammo NCO, and asking him how much small arms ammo we had at the ammunition supply point. We brought it all in and distributed it to the companies. It took the division 2-3 days to sort out how to issue ammunition for this. Best of luck with the new rim. I hope you don't have any issues with it. FWIW, I have a $600 rear wheel on my full suspension (I also have a $3000 1911...). It has never needed a single adjustment in 3 years. Same guy built my road bike rear wheel. Different hub, so it was much cheaper. Being a bigger guy, certain components wear faster. I have seen what happens when a wheel catastrophically fails during a ride. I'll carry the extra weight, and spend the money, to minimize equipment failure that could cause me physical harm. I had the 22LR version. Neat rifle. Fully ambidextrous (safety, charging handle, mag release, can even change which side the round ejects). I would definitely consider another in 5.56 if the price was right. I think they were too high given the alternatives. Also, a swap to 300 blackout can be done without tools. A good wheel builder should be able to replace the spoke, and solve your issues. They need to take the tension down, and then bring the tension back up with the new spike in place. Good wheels cost a fair amount of money. I'm 250 riding weight. I haven't broken a spoke since I went with DT Swiss alpine 3 spokes, and stans flow wheels on my mountain bikes. My road bike has DT double butted spokes laced to a DT512 rim, with a DT 350s hub. I built one MTB rim, and had a wheel builder do the other 2. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We ordered a sofa from Sprintz, and were told 4-6 week lead time. When we called to check the status a few weeks later, we were told it was 12+ weeks. We cancelled the order, and went to Haverty's. We had great service there. They even came out and repaired a spot on our sofa 6 months after it was delivered that was caused by our dog's flea medicine (the liquid you put on their back is bad for leather finish, FYI). As far as I understand, two mags at 15 each for the standard PCC - the same as the handguns (unless you run the three mags at 11-10-10). You can ask about loading more rounds in the mags at the match. Normally there will be at least 18 rounds required per stage, so you will have to reload once. There may be a steel target or two in the stages. Last month there were some steel that once hit, that triggered moving targets. It was pretty fun. I bring 150 rounds total just to make up shots on the steel if needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pretty similar to IDPA. Cover and concealment are generally required. You can reload where you choose, dropping magazines that still have rounds without penalty. Magazine capacity options are 11-10-10, or 15-15. If you follow IDPA rules, you will be just fine. Several guys do so that they can compete in IDPA matches, and not have to retrain to those standards. I will be shooting a PCC most likely this weekend. There are some differences in equipment classes that I don't fully get (for example 1911s and Striker fired pistols are same class, I think - only matters on how many rounds you load in your mags per the above). I sold an HK USP 45 Tactical that I bought while stationed in Germany in 1999. In 2005, I found a shotgun that I had to have and my wife said one must go out before another comes in. That was the one that was sold. I really regret that decision. That gun was special in a few ways - I bought it after I had completed Belgian Commando school, and all of the paperwork was in German. A few years later, I sold a Remington shotgun that I received from my father. I was at a stage in my life where I said it makes no sense to have a gun that I will never likely shoot.
