  1. Congrats on receiving your new hcp. Enjoy!
  2. I live out in the country on a dead end road and my driveway is a 1/4 mile long so I don't see this scenario happening where I live but you never know. Most of my neighbors own firearms and know how to use them. We could easily block the road at a few choke points along the way and it would be very hard to get through even on foot due to the surrounding terrain. Steep hills, downed trees, etc. Probably do what we normally do around the house when not working. Make some coffee, cut firewood, target practice outside off the deck, clean the guns, lather, rinse, repeat. Just another day. I voted for option 1 and 4.
  3. I think that goes for about any make of vehicle. OBDII for generic codes on all makes but their proprietary software to do in depth stuff.
  4. I use my Keltec P32 for pocket carry and the G27 for IWB. I also like my SP101 for IWB. +1 on the Dickies or Carhartt carpenter jeans. They fit loose and work well for these carry options. That's what I wear everyday to work.
  5. I had bacon with breakfast this morning but I did not shoot or even print the targets yet. Is that considered cheating?
  6. I think there is no doubt the synthetic is better but the dino oil is a lot better now than it was years ago. I have had a lot of oil samples done on big trucks, buses, and our service trucks over the years. I have customers running 50,000 drain intervals in big trucks with full synthetic and other customers running 40,000 on regular dino oil. The samples come back good and could have went even more miles. The customer that runs the 40,000 intervals just traded in their old trucks and got new ones. The 2009's they traded had between 800,000 and 900,000 and had not had major engine work done if that tells you anything. I have run regular dino oil in our powerstroke service truck since new in 2003 and have usually followed Ford's 7500 mile interval but the sampling indicated it could easily have gone to 10,000. It has 170,000 on it currently and is still running strong. I have run 15w40 Texaco, Shell Rotella and Rimula, Pennzoil Long Life, Mobil Fleet and Delvac, and we currently are bulking Conoco Fleet Supreme. I have had good experience with all these oils in our shop. I have had to switch brands a few time to keep a competitive price. In my wife's Honda Pilot I run dino oil 5w20 and do 5000 mile changes with no problems. The manual says 7500 and I have let it run over a few times to 7500. It has about 150,000 showing on the odometer now and is doing fine. I think it is just up to your individual preference. Myself I just stick with dino oil due to the high cost of synthetics and the fact that I stock bulk dino oil in our shop. It would be expensive to fill a 275 gal tank with full synthetic.
  7. I have the real mans belt and silver dollar pancake holster from Simply Rugged, http://www.simplyrugged.com/ I cant say enough good things about them, excellent quality. I carry my SP101 IWB with this setup and it works really well. I wear the belt everyday.
  8. I guess I've missed all his posts. I seem to have missed most all the antics that are getting people banned, but I do have kale in my garden and have ramen noodles in the cupboard.
  9. Went today and it was a good show. I left with my wallet a little lighter though.
  10. Rule #6: Never apologize — Its a sign of weakness.
  11. +1 on the mood. I don't always participate a lot on forums but when I do it's TGO!
  12. I've never been there but it's in my neck of the woods. I'll have to try it out.
  13. I think that puts me in this price range; http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/john-deerereg%3B-1%3A1-monster-treads-tractor-wagon   Another thing to take into consideration are parts & service support. Do some research on parts pricing and availability and see what others are saying about the model of tractor you're considering. There are some good used ones out there you just don't want to buy one with inherent problems.   I do a lot of research online about tractors but I just don't currently have the funds. Maybe one day i will.
  14. Oops, double post.
  15. +1 for CMT. I bought 2 during the TGO group buy.
  16. USP45 or USP45C might fit the bill.
  17. It can be done but it's not easy. My rental house is next door so I can watch it closely. We've been renting it for 12 years. Don't count on making too much of a profit but you should be able to hold your own.   Check out the renters closely, credit, criminal background, etc., there are services that can do this for you. make the renter pay for it when they apply. Go with your gut. Be very selective and price your property a little more than the going rate. Make sure you get enough of a security deposit.   Like anything worth doing there is a risk.

  19. Enjoys a nice pair of trousers.
  20. I have a Simply Rugged Silver Dollar Pancake holster like Daddyo's with an SP101. Great holster. I also got the Real Man belt from Simply Rigged to go with it, wear it everyday. Mine has the optional straps to convert to IWB, which is how I mostly use this holster.
  21. DSG Arms has a lot of really good deals on Magpul items. They have always treated me right.
  22. ...until it's time to not be nice. Well there's always barber college.
  23. I pocket carry my Keltec P32 quite often.
  24. Blues City Cafe was really good, watch out for the gunbuster on the door though.
