  1. Ruger is having a trade in promo for the LC9s. http://www.ruger.com/micros/LC9Trade-In/index.html
  2. Word for word those are my exact thoughts. Well the .327 does give you an extra round.
  3. Question you can shoot like 4 different types of ammo right? .327 and bunch of different .32's?
  4. Yeah for that much you can buy a LC9 outright.
  5. Ruger has a LC9 conversion kit for the LC380. http://www.ruger.com/micros/LC9Conversion/index.html?r=y
  6. Well looks like Ruger has done it again and has came out with a .327 LCR. http://www.guns.com/2015/09/28/rugers-got-a-new-lcr-in-327-fed-mag/
  7. Yes the Pitbull. They also have one in .40 cal. https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/charter-arms-9mm-pitbull-revolver-good-concept/
  8. The Bersa Thunder cc is a good .380.
  9. I know for a fact that the gun store down the street from me, TN Gun Country, don't carry Taurus revolvers anymore because, over the course of a few months there would be problems with them. Like the cylinder would fall off right out, it wouldn't close right, all right out the box and then they would have to pay to send them back. It became to much of a hassle so they quit carrying there revolvers but, they still carry the semiautomatics.
  10. OK, besides, Ruger and S&W revolvers, what other company would you buy when it comes to BRAND NEW revolvers? For me it would be Rock Island/Armscor. I don't have much experience with them but, you don't have the hit and miss reviews like you do with Taurus and Charter Arms. Also, you can get a good revolver for under $200 if you pick them and a 6 shot snubnose when Ruger and S&W only have 5.
  11. This is the funniest part “‘This ain’t Texas; we don’t carry guns here.’" The crime rate of NYC in the 80s says otherwise pal. :p

Anyone have any experience with these? I saw a used satin silver one for $500 and I have to say it was pretty.
  13. I carry a HKS speedloader in the watch pocket of my pants. It's easy to get out and the speedloader stays in place.
  14. To me it will always be Ricardo Tubbs's gun.
  15. Whenever I see news reports on how to protect yourself in a theater shooting my first thoughts are always, "Bring a gun and remain calm and return fire."
  16. Question, have you thought about a Bersa Thunder? I shot one several times and loved it and almost bought one before I got my LCR.
  17. I'd be happy if they let civilians with a permit carry on base or at least leave it in their car.
  18. Thanks for the input guys. I've decided to pass on it.
  19. This week Rural King is having a sale on the Taurus pt709 for $199. I have to admit the price is tempting but, it is a Taurus and I've heard horror stories about them. So, my question is who has experience with this gun?

  21. This seems like something I might go to. http://www.tnguncountry.com/pages/information/tngc_upcomingevents.html Upcoming Events July 10-11: Smith & Wesson Sale! Come in and enjoy the savings and try out some of the newest S&W firearms. We will provide the gun and range, you just have to buy the ammo.
  22. Not saying that. You were saying what would happen in SC and I was telling you what would happen in TN, the state the OP is in.
  23. True but, we're not talking about South Carolina but, Tennessee were you don't have to and the worse that can happen is they ask you to leave.
  24. Just my two cents: Personally, I do not disclose that I am armed. Among family (those who know I carry) they have asked before and I told them that yes, I was armed at the time. Now they simply assume I am and no longer bother to ask. I don't feel the need to tell people I carry, since it is none of their business. If asked by someone I know well, than I would inform.
  25. Thanks for the opinions but, I think some of you are confused. At no point did I thought of pulling out my gun while arguing with the guy. It was when he threatened to pull me out of my car did I think about reaching for my gun seeing how my passager side window was all the way down and how close he was. That's when I put it in drive and got out of there.
