  3. Nope. Funny story, my friend had wanted one but, missed the sale so I sold one to him. Then my other friend had been looking for a gun and liked mine so I sold the other one to him. So, I made my money back minus taxes. Then yesterday I get an email from Rural King for a stainless G2 for $209 and ordered one. https://www.rkguns.com/taurus-pt-111-millennium-pro-g2-stainless-gray-9mm-12rd-3-2-pistol-1-111039g2-12g.html
  4. Well, Clarksville Gun & Archery text club sent one this morning saying they had the pt111 G2 9mm for $199.99. So, I went ahead and got two for that price.
  5. Nope. Sold out.
  6. Just got an email from Rural King that says for this week they have the Taurus G2 for sale for $199. I am in the market to finally get a semiauto 9mm and the price is to good to pass up that you would be tempted to buy two of them but, it's a Taurus, which can be hit or miss. So, does anyone have any experience with this one? Thanks.

  9. http://clarksvillenow.com/local/police-51-guns-stolen-from-vehicles-so-far-this-year/ CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville police said there have been approximately 373 vehicle burglaries since the beginning of the year. The vehicle burglaries considered were those which had some type of unlawful entry and did not take thefts occurring while in the company of acquaintances. Out of the 373 vehicle burglaries, 51 of them had firearms stolen from inside of the vehicle. Out of the 51 vehicle burglaries in which firearms were taken, 42 vehicles were unlocked, 5 were claimed to be locked, but had no signs of forced entry, one had a door damaged to make entry, one had a window broken, and two were locked but left windows down. Nearly all of the vehicles involved were parked in the owner’s driveway or in front of the residence. Most of the firearms taken were handguns. The monetary loss in the 51 burglaries involving theft of firearms was approximately $33,000. “Vehicle burglaries are generally a crime of opportunity and unlocked vehicles are prime targets,” Clarksville Police Department spokesman Jim Knoll said. “So, please take the extra couple of seconds to lock your doors, remove valuables from your vehicle, and make sure firearms are properly secured.”
  10. I rented the blu ray edition the other week and one of the extras was a kill count. 116.

  12. Today we did the Sun Studio tour and Mud Island River Park.
  13. Yeah, right now we're waiting out a storm at a BBQ tent that was nice enough to feed us and give us booze. Anyways, they looked in my sisters little handbag and had the brother inlaw and me lift up our shirts to check our waistband. Jokes on them, the gun was in my pocket.
  14. Thanks for the help guys. Now we're doing the BBQ on Friday and going to do something else in the city on Saturday. So, what is there to do/go in Memphis BESIDES Graceland?
  15. Next weekend my sister, her husband, and I will be going to Memphis In May for the BBQ contest. I read that guns are banned from Tom Lee Park so my question is do they search you or have metal detectors at the entrance? Thanks.
  16. .Listen, I know you said you're not looking for revolvers but, you can't go wrong with the Ruger LCR. I have the. 357 one and it easily rides in my pants pockets
  17. Ah, the model 38 or as I call it, Rico Tubbs revolver in Miami Vice.
  18. Here's an article from Truth About Guns about it. https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/robert-farago/eight-states-eliminate-partially-reject-tn-handgun-permits-reciprocity/
  19. Go to Truth About Guns, they test fired one of the guns at the SHOT show and it broke. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2017/01/foghorn/first-impressions-new-colt-cobra/
  20. Yes I meant spend. Never drink and post people.
  21. What is the most you would spent on any gun? For me it would be 500 to 600 out the door. Anything more and it's going to be spent on some rare, hard to find gun. How about you?

  23. Yeah when I look at these pics I don't see a Colt revolver. Instead I see a Rock Island revolver.
  24. OK, OK you got me. I want ahead got myself another sp101 2.25 .357. Sheesh. So, that brings the .357 count up to 3. All Ruger's.
  25. Today I saw a great deal on a sp101 but, stopped myself because, I ready have one, it was exactly like the one I have, and would rather spend that on a different gun and because variety is the spice of life. But, I know that there are people who own multiple copies of the same gun for whatever reason and I'd like to know who does and what would be the point of it. You know besides the Hollywood reason.
