I have seen a lot of news about MVA's when there is a death involved. In really bad accidents I have seen highwys blocked for several hours or longer and they are always on the nightly local news. They just don't make news here unless a member is involved............JMHO

That must have been exciting to have a siren blairing inside the house in the middle of the night. We will not have one of those for sure. The type were are looking at has 4 motion detectors, is wireless and back in my house will be two extremely loud door bell chimes in different sections of the house and they make two entirely different chimes which will tell me what section of the house the intruders are in. I will call 911 first but then I will detain the bad guys by what ever is necessary up to and including making a large mess for Serv-Pro. They will be totaly unaware they have tripped any alarms until either I show up of the police do.

My next home is going to be located out in the sticks which doesn't really bother me. I lived in the country all my life till I moved here. The crime rate was nothing back then like it is today and will only be getting worse. SIL(Tommy) and daughters house has been broken into twice in past 4 years. Tommy has ask me about putting a driveway alarm inside the house that is motion activated and would alert me in my house if there was any movement in his house during the day while they were at work. They have a range up to 200 feet. I told him he might need Serve-Pro to clean up the mess and he said that would be fine. My house is 50 feet from their house and the Sheriff has already told him if he gets the oportunity to shoot them please do so. They have been a thorn in his backside for about 10 years now in that area. My Jeep will be parked behind my house so they won't even know I am back there. They have hit their place twice without incident. There has been 9 houses hit in that area and all of them more than once.

I use to buy and sell from time to time but up until doing that favor for my friend a few weeks back I have about quit as I have all I want or need right now. I have 2 different calibers of handguns strategically placed throughout the house and a few in the safe along with a stock of ammo for both. I have 1 shotgun if a need arises for that type weapon and ammo for it. I was going to put that last Bersa I traded for last week up for sale but it's a Bersa so I guess it will live here for a while.

I have had friends concerned about me living by myself and all the time I have lived in this rental friends have added stuff to my doors and there are so many motions lights outside that you canot approach the house from any direction without triggering at least 4 to 6 dayight bright floods. I have dead bolts on a steel entry door plus handle lock. The only weak point in the whole place is the sliding glass door and I have it secured so it will have to be broken to come thru it. I asked the first landlord I had if he minded me securing the door and he said do what you want to do so I screwed the door to the frame so it cannot be lifted out of its track. I have a clear shot of the door from the bedroom so will shoot them if they are stupid enough to come in after breaking it and then like someone else said , will be time to call Serv-Pro! I also have Darby with hearing beyond anyones wildest dreams. Her ears are like radar detectors and when they stand up I turn my hearing aid down cause I know she it getting ready to cut loose. I swear she can hear those lights out side trigger and she starts. Someone mentioned having a John Wick effect in their house. I do have one in mine. Any time family is coming to visit they call an hour ahead of time if they are bringing the children so I can put up any guns out in the safe till they leave. When I move all my floods are going with me to the new house. SIL has already replaced the doors with steel ones and added dead bolts.

Thanks for to advice as it is always nice to learn even the smallest things about these machines. I doubt I will ever figure this machine out and my grandson wanted to make life easier on me so knowing I use a simple flip phone all the time he gave me a new phone all programed up with an easy to work set up. It's a Samsung 7 phone that can do anything this computer can do and make and receive phone calls. He also brought me two fancy little gadgets and hooked them to my TV sets and I can watch about any movie that has ever been made for the big screen or TV using a program on the phone. I have watched movies I remember watchin back when I was a kid that were black and white and made in 1945. I aslo use the channel 5 weather app to check on storms in the area but have yet to make a call on it. He said he was updating phones to the Samsung 10

I totally understand and yep, Honda does make great products including their outboards but even new things break. One of the guys on one of our tournament trails bought a new Triton back in 1997 and it had a 200 Honda on it and it was in the shop all the time. He finally told the Triton dealer to keep the Honda motor and put him a Yamaha 200 on it and when he showed up at next tournament he was running a Yamaha. Any company is capable of making a Lemon and James got one on his Triton. He traded boats every three years and every year after that he had Yamaha's. But they break to. I had to put the boat in the picture in S&R while it was under warranty and they put a brand new lower unit on my outboard and it was on 10 months old. I don't know how some folks are buying these new top of the line fishing boats. I was looking at a ZX 21 Skeeter at a dealer last week while picking up a part for my boat and the price was $94,895.00. The saleman asked me if he could wrap it up for me and I replied maybe but first you need to show me which storage compartment the pot of gold is stored in and he got an ugly look on his face and walked away. A new Ranger is over $100,000.00.

I keep getting a window telling me I have 17 intel drivers not working! My security network keeps trying the charge me $39.95 to correct the issue.Then I get another window showing that all my drivers are working and I don't need to do anything. I have been noticing my computer has slowed down with connecting and I am getting screens telling me that page cannot be opened. My security company has began charging me monthly for a service but have never really made it clear what it is. I think it might be time to change companies as I am tired of talking to people in the Phillipines about these issues. I have this feeling that they may be the reason I keep getting the Intel drivers not working and they are just trying to sell me something else. Any one got any ideas?????? Notice!!! Well I recomended S & R Marine in Cookeville as a place to start because I know the owner and he was my service dealer of my Skeeter boat while it was under warranty and I got to know him and his company fairly well and I have sent several people to them that bought boats from them and got good deals on what they bought. They have Triton Aluminum Boats. If your really wanting a 4 stroke I suggest a Yamaha over the Honda for 1 reason. There are very few places if you need some major repaired on the motor after the warranty expires that work on the Honda Outboards so you would pretty much be stuck going back to your dealer that sold you the boat and Honda motor. I'm not saying Honda is not a great motor cause they are. Just just very many mechanics out there that work on them. Now with that said Mac is talking about his F115 Salt water Yamaha be 10 years old. I have a 1998 Skeeter with a 130 Yamaha on it that has had one major shop visit since I got it and that was a warranty lower unit replacement which is where and when I met Wayne at S&R Marine. Other than that it has been normal wear and tear repairs. Spark plugs Lower unit oil change, water pump kits every 2 years that Yamaha is 20 years old in August and from 1998 till 2014 I was on the lake every day till health put me on the night shift. Meds keep me out of direct sunlight so I had the skeeter rigged for night fishing. Like I said, he has been buying baits from me about 7-8 years and we have talked about things more or less fishing related but he knew I was pro 2A cause I always had a gun on yet he still bought baits from me. That is why I would like to get a dialog started with him to learn more about his actions. Evidently he was packing so I think I would like to know more about his thinking.

I used to give to several different charities until I did some homework and found that most of them the funds go to management salaries and very little makes it to the actual charity to help people. I just stared back with Wounded Warriors now they they have gotten rid of all the theives they had working in their administration and the funds are going to the warriors and not the administration crooks they had running it.

Well all I know is it's a woodpecker and I don't just have 1. I have 3 that fight over that particular feeder all day long. two of them have the darker heads and one of them is bright Red but he does not show up as much as the other 2. I just wanted people to know I was not imagining having a wood pecker on my HB feeders.

If I had never seen him with those signs on TV I would have never thought he would be the type that was against fire arms. I think what I would like to know is was he being paid to protest or doing it because he believes that junk?

Well if he does accidently order any more baits from me and is going to come by and get them, maybe if he is alone we might be able engage in some type of dialog so I can get an idea as to why he is anti-gun but still carrys one. I'm guess his life has been threatened by some gun owner with brain smaller than a pea is why he might be packing. I do have his email address. I require it for everyone that orders baits. I might send him an email and see if he will reply back. He did not seem mad or upset when he left but more almost thankful if that makes any sense. I would not say he disappointed because I had seen him on the news holding anti-gun signs in protests. It did kind of surprise me to see him and a friend both packing when they are preaching Anti-Gun Reterec on TV. It also tells me I might need to be more careful about who I let in my house even though he has been here a couple times in the past to pick up baits but was alone.

My son can't keep trail cams. Poachers keep taking them. The game wardens did catch one bunch last year but he and my grandson have another bunch that just stole 3 cameras that were less than 2 weeks old. They are now working on figuring out how he to hide trail cams to protect their trail cams.

I had one of my bait customers stop by today to pick up a bait order he had placed last week. I have known him about 10 years. I don't consider him a friend but more of an aquaintance and a bait customer. He had a few friends with him and as I was getting his order packed up I was looking at him and his friends and he and one other was printing big time. I handed him his bait package and said hey Chris, just wanted to let you know you and your friend are printing and not very well concealed. They didn't know what to say. Chris has told me to my face in the past that he is totally anti-gun and I have seen him on the news a couple times toting signs saying so in protests in Nashville. Chris turned a pail faced and his friend tried to pull is shirt down more. He paid me and thanked me for the baits and they left. I would not have said a word had it been a friend that I know is pro 2A cause he would know I am Pro 2A and I started not to say anything to Chris but I wanted him to know that he is a liar in a nice way. He talks the anti talk but does not walk the anti walk. I often wonder how many folks like him are out there???? He already knew my view on 2A and his friends knew soon as they walked in and I had a Bersa on my right hip in open carry. I put it on when he called to tell me he was coming to get the baits.

Growing up in the North as a child I had just about every race, creed and religion including Islam around me everyday in school. We all studied together and at recess we all went out and played together. Marbles. dodgeball, tag, baseball, just what every a kid wanted to play there was a game out there on the playground. If I knew back then what I know today I would have looked around and I would have seen all kids from all races playing the same games and no one being left out because of race, creed, religion or any other reason. Now with that said, segregation was not practiced in schools up there when I was growing up so I was dumb to it when I moved south at age 17 in 1966. It was not really taught down here either I don't think. I believe it was just practiced but never taught, at least to me. As I grew older I began to realize that it was an option as to how you practiced it or if you did at all. My grandfather never practiced it cause one of his best friends that live down the road on a small farm was an African American and there was many times we broke bread at the same dinner table with the man and his family. I never did because I always thought in the back of my mind it was a stupid thing for people to do. I did loose some friends I had made in high school but I just thought to myself they were never really friends anyway. I was never the sharpest knife in the drawer but I knew I was not going to be told who I could or should associate with and who not to back then and I am still living my life that way 53 years later. Back on election night when President Obama got elected the first time I had a few friends over to the house watching the polls. And I heard his speech and then I heard Michelle's famous line, "This is the first time in my life I am proud of my Country" and I turned to my friends and I said this country just moved backwards 50 years and they agreed. I didn't say that because we had elected an African American. I said it because that particular one was elected. He had a chip on his shoulder the size of the dome of the White House and thought he had something to prove and was going to show everyone who he was. I knew he was not a President for the People but a President for a select few people. I listened to the Pod cast last evening and I didn't hear what I could call bashing of the NRA. I heard things about it I was not aware of and I heard things that could improve it in the future but I heard a disussion more than a bashing of it.....JMHO on that. I said it on page 1 of this thread and I will say it one more time. I don't care what your race is, creed is, religion is, gay or straight, male or female.
