Become a Benefactor here on TGO and you might have a person that lives 10 miles from you that is interested in what you have to sell. The are a lot of folks on the site that live up that way........JMHO

This was the ad I saw nad it says $11 and it does not request experienced people. I'm guess they are having the same issue keeping employees as everyone else is. Can't pass drug tests of getting fired for a spontaneous test without notice. Might be worth your time to look into it. Beretta USA CORP 28 reviews Gallatin, TN Responsive employer $11 an hour Is currently looking for Firearms Assemblers to work out of our manufacturing facility in Gallatin, TN. Positions work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30...

Mike, I was just looking at the Indeed job network to see what might be out there and they have a Gallatin Section and on page 4 of the job search they had an ad that Beretta in Gallatin was looking to hire some people. I didn't go into it to far but might be something to look into................

Not trying to highjack your thread Mikie.. My Grandson called me 1 day about a year ago and said he was sending me a picture of a car he was getting ready to buy. I asked him if he signed any papers yet and he said no and I said let me send you a picture of that same car and I sent him this and he did not buy the car bought a pickup truck instead. This is a Smart Car involved in an accident.

I noticed several years ago without ever walking into one of Dicks stores that there had to be something folks didn't like about Dicks. They has a store almost directly across the highway from Academy Sports at Rivergate. You look at the parking lots and Dicks may have 2 cars or Pick up trucks in their parking lot and Academy has 20 or more in theirs. That told me all I needed to know so I have never been in a Dicks Sporting Goods store and have zero plans of it in the future.............JMHO

I was thinking about Steelharps jobs posts and the one about the guy in the work clothes that bought the SS Monte Carlo and it reminded me of something about my Grandmother the post reminded me of. My Grandmother was a business lady and very smart and worked in Chicago since she moved there with my mother in 1932. I grew up around her as I was born in 1948 and all the time while growing up I would remember my Grandmother saying, "One day I will own a Cadillac." At the time she was driving a 1954 Oldsmobile 98. Every year she would go look at the Cadillacs in the show rooms and say to me "One day I will own a Cadillac." Well about 2 years before we moved South. My Grand Mother had retired from the job she had held since 1938. From then on my Grandmother and step grandfather lived a modest lifestyle even though they were very weathy. Many times we would go visit and my Grandmother would be dressed almost like a bag lady living on the street but she said it was comfortable. All the years she worked she had to dress very fit and proper right down to her makeup. Well, she had made up her mind it was time to buy a new car and she was going to get her Cadillac and she ask me to take her since her and my Step grandfather was fussing since he didn't think she needed a new car. She said it was her money and if she wanted a Cadillac she would buy a Cadillac. They argued alot. I thought she would dress up some but nope. She was comfortable right down to her tennis shoes with the holes cut in them for her corns to stick out of. She had a huge black bag purse and a dress that looked like a bag drapped over her and her hair up in a bun. (I think you can get the picture). Well we arrive at Loftus Cadillac in Oak Lawn Illinois and on the show room floor was the car she wanted. A beautiful Teal Blue Sedan D'ville. She approached a salesman and began to ask him about the car and he looked at her and walked away. 1st mistake!!! She followed him and tried to ask him again and again he walked away. Mistake #2. She gave him one more try and finally he told her to go away. Strike 3 and your out, literally. She walked up to the receptioness desk and ask if the owner was in and she said he was but he was busy and she said fine we will wait and we walked over and sat down and waited. About 5 minutes later the owner came out of his office and spoke with the receptiontist and then came and ask us if he could help and my Grandmother said I hope so and we went into his office. First she said I have come here to buy a car but your salesman does not want to sell me one. She told him what the salesman did and the owner said I will be more than glad to help you personally and he asked her how she planned on paying for the car and which car she wanted. She told him which car and said Cashiers Check and she just needed a total cost and you can call my bank to get it approved. They did all the paper work and the man called her bank to confirm she had the funds on hand. After calling the bank he got even more polite to her. He handed the papers over to my grandmother to sign and she said I will sign them after you do one more thing for me and she took him to the door way of his office, pointed out the salesman and ask that he be spoken to about how he treated her. The owner ask her to have a seat and he walked out and spoke with the salesnan and the salesman had to come in and apologize to her for his actions. I kind of felt a little sorry for him but it was also a learning experience for him at the same time.

Maybe most do but back when I was working back before going disabled I had a job I dearly loved. I was an ASE Certified Master Automotive Mechanic and I loved working on cars with a passion. Every day was a new challenge which always required something different to do each day. Not the same old thing day in day out. I worked on cars for 35 years and loved it..........JMHO

Sam Walton got that same treatment back when he was alive. My father and Sam were close friends right up till he passed away and he would tell my father about how people judge other people by their appearences. Sam always wore work clothes. Dickie brand Shirt and pants and a ball cap and when he went to one of his stores to pick up something he would walk up to the cashier and pay for what he was getting just like any other customer. There was a few times he would go speak with the manager of the store to do one of 2 things. Get someone a raise or get someone fired. 99% of the employees had no clue what Sam Walton looked like. He always based his decisions on how he was treated by who ever he was deaing with based of his appearence. Old pick up truck and work clothes would have told me the guy had a job and was there to buy something..............JMHO

I do hope with your situation you are able to find what will work for you Rotorhead. A vertical drop Shoulder Holster should eliminate shooting himself in the chest. I have kicked around getting a shoulder holster a year or more and I would want a vertical drop rather than a horizontal insert because if you are standing in any check out line in a store Horizontal holster always has the muzzle of your firearm pointing at the person behind you. I could not be comfortable knowing that..........JMHO.

I got great buy on some Fiocchi 380 ammo back several years ago and bought 1000 rounds shipped to my door for $180.00 and still have about 600 rounds of it. It became my range ammo not to long after I got is because I was experiencing FTF (Fail to Fire) issues with it. I thought it might have been the Bersa so next time I took a different Bersa to the range and had the same issue and also had the problem in my S&W Body Guard. On average out of 5 magazines shot I would have from 1 up to 6 and even 7 one time that FTF. I knew than I could not depend on it for carry ammo so it became range ammo and I began buying Hornady Critical defense ammo as I could afford it for EDC I hope that issue is not in the 223 Ammo. I bought it because a friend of mine told me it was a good deal and the price was but the 380 ammo not so much.

A friend of mine bought an HP 45 back a couple years ago and stopped by to show it off. He handed it to me and I almost dropped it. Was not expecting it to weigh so much. He said he had been to the range with it and it was very accurate for an inexpensive 45 caliber and told me I needed to look into getting one but I said I will pass. But I also considered that the gun fit him perfectly. He is 35 years old 6ft 4 in, 285 lbs and has hands the size of a SilverBack Gorilla. And arms coming off his shoulder look like Country Hams. He is and has been a pipe fitter/welder/Gofer in the coal mines since he 16 and his father trained him in the mines. He got his HCP and that 45 is his EDC.

Better fired than possibly dead this time or the next one and I would not work for a company such as this and not be allowed to protect myself. That in itself tells me the company does not care about there employees..............JMHO

I don't believe driving around the guy or backing up would have changed much of the outcome. The truck driver cut them off the first time so best not to give him another chance to do it again or worse. Standing his ground was the best move to make for the Uber driver..............JMHO

Yep!!! I don't really think there is any hope left for them anyway. They will be under Muslim Control when it's all said and done anyway............JMHO.

From the looks of it the Balloon may be the beginning of what may be the casting off you mentioned. Maybe the people are finally going to grow a spine!!

My Wife that passed away was an LPN for 15 years and she did mostly Home Health care, taking care of home bound patients. My daughter was an LPN but went on and finished her education and is now and RN. She said that in the past couple years before getting her RN license LPN's were becoming nothing more tha glorified Nurses aids doing the jobs such as bedpans and bed sheet changing. That is why she went on and got her RN. She works in ER at Vanderbilt Hospital now.

I'm not exactly sure how that Balloon is going to help the crime rate in London or any where in Great Britain for that matter. If they want to slow down their crime rate let them begin doing back ground checks on folks and the ones that past the background check should be able to take a class on Fire arms and then be allowed to purchase one after completing all the requirements. Then look at the crime rate 1 year later and see where it is.............JMHO

The only road blocks I give any money to is when the small town fire departments have the Toys for Tots fund raisers and I do give to that when I come up on one of them.

My mistake. It was a Ford and may have been a F-250. I just went and looked at the video again.

I have never thought even back years ago when my boys were in school that the schools got a lot of the money that got collected so probably the same or worse today.........IMO

Definately sounds like he does take his job very serious and I wonder if his deputies carry more ammo than they use to...... Didn't sound like they had enough last time. IMHO I don't think it would hurt to have a few more like him around.
