  1. I would say the police invoked that confrontation with no probable cause. I didn't see anything out side or inside that would require that they be asked for ID's. I don't feel that the police officer had any probable cause to place his hands on the man to push him back. Instead, he should have given him a verbal order to step back and if the order was refused then take physical action. There was no verbal order given. Way I see it I would not call it profiling, I would call it cops just wanting to throw some weight around and thought they fond easy targets........jmho
  2. Cars use to line up like that back many years ago when they were really popular and it has probably not changed...Hope you enjoy the movie and have a comfortable car to sit in.......
  3. I did something very stupid about 12 or so years ago pertaining to going into a court house and I am very glad that the Sheriff's deputies were very understanding. This was back before I had a carry permit and I had a 380 compact in my back pocket and forgot I had it and my attorney had already went through the metal detector and I then remembered I had the gun as I began to empty my pockets. I never removed it from my pocket but I told the deputy at the gate that I forgot I had it. They both looked at my attorney and then one of them told me to take it back and lock it in my vehicle and come back in. I went through the detector with flying colors and nothing else was ever said about it. Not that was a situation of stupid is as stupid does for sure. I consider myself very lucky that day. Have never made such a stupid mistake since.
  4. Well, in all reality it does sound like something that our potus would say since he as done many things it appears to help get his way in the Arab Spring to this point so I didn't find it that far fetched but if I was wrong I am sorry for making the post in the first place. I will be more careful in the future of the material I post about............ :ugh:
  5. That is a unique gun for sure. A release trigger fire system is rare but I have heard of one other one in my life. Back many moons ago when I was just a kid and buddy and I used to do a lot of Trap shooting at a local gun club. It was a great bunch of guys to shoot with and there was one guy in particular and his name was Sammy Percicco and came out of Chicago to shoot with us on weekends. We all got to calling him Flinching Sammy because he would call for the bird and when he got ready to fire he wold flinch at least two of three times before firing and it would cause him to miss a lot of birds. There were several guys there that where very good shooters and one of them talked with Sammy about helping him with his flinching. Sammy was shooting a Beretta 12 gauge semi auto pigeon grade high dollar gun. The guy talked Sammy into letting him take the gun and fix it for him to improve his shooting. All I remember is when they came to the shoot the following Saturday he took Sammy out to the range and we all followed to watch and he showed Sammy what they had done to modify his gun. The guys has designed a release fire system for the gun. They handed Sammy the gun and told him that when he pulled the trigger nothing would happen but when he released it the gun would fire. Sure enough Sammy positioned the gun on his shoulder in shooting position and pulled the trigger and held it and called for a bird. When he swung in the direction of the bird flight he flinched and when he did the gun went off and he hit the bird just enough you could see yellow dust fly off the bird but didn't break it. With in about an hour Sammy was busting more birds then he had ever broke before. It worked really well for him. When I heard the guy in the video talk about the Browning having a similar fire-ring system it brought back the memories of when I a kid and Flinching Sammy at the trap shoots.......
  6. I see your point on the inforwars comment but I am a Tea party member and it came in a Tea party email to me on Tea Party Link page. I will send you entire email link in PM if you would like to read it.
  7. Well I go to Sams Club about 1 time a month to stock up on stuff I have my gun on me and never had an issue but I do carry concealed. I stock up on pet stuff for Kasey and maybe some bread and items that I use a lot of. Normally I go with a couple buddies that also need stuff so it makes the trip worth the short drive we have. On that Costco shooting I can believe part of it but part of it seems far fetched. Several of the guys I hang around with are actually LEO's and when they are off duty in plain clothes they still carry concealed. A couple of us were at a neighborhood Big Lots and a plain clothes store security guy saw my gun when I reached up on a shelf and he confronted me and told me I would have to leave the store because I was armed. I politely explained that the store was not posted and all the time my buddy is standing about 8 or 10 feet away. The security man became very loud and was about ready to actually physically try and escort me out of the store and then he said if you don't leave I will call the police and he whipped out his cell phone. My buddy had seen all he wanted and he walked up and removed the cell phone from the guys hand and held up his badge at the same time. He said you don't need to call us, I'm already here and this man is a friend of mine, Then we all took a walk back to the managers office and had a long talk and when we left the Security guy was already gone because he was fired on the spot and told to leave and we talked to the manager for a few more minutes and we left. He said Big Lots does not have any rules pertaining to legal carry in any of their stores and armed citizens are welcome in all their stores. Just wanted to say that Big Lots is carry friendly if anyone shops in them. But the same thing could have happened to me that happened to that man in Vegas because of a stupid store security wanta be cop. The guy that confronted that man just like that guy that confronted me don't stop to think they may be confronting an off duty LEO which has all rights to be armed just like any one with a carry permit has the right to carry a gun. We are just a little more limited with no carry zones that off duty LEO's are not.
  8. My grandson works for Walmart and he said Walmart is doing some major maneuvering to get around the Obama care program. He is full time right now at 40 hours but his hours will be getting cut back to 29 hours just before the junk kicks in so he went and lined up another part time job to fill the gap at some fast food outlet. I wonder what they are going to do about all the management when it kicks in.
  9. I just signed it
  10. President Obama made a statement today that  the Tea Party picked up on.     http://www.teaparty.org/obama-al-qaeda-just-wants-to-live-in-peace-28357/
  11. He got an ear full from me also but in all honesty I think he has an Obama feeling of being invincible at the polls and does not really care what his people in Tennessee think or want..........jmho

    Staying Alive

She was a looker for sure and made the men that couldn't dance look good when they danced with her..................
  13. Ok for my :2cents: opinion. I think it is nothing more than another smoke screen added to the all to many smoke screens that have surrounded this administration since Obummer took office that Washington DC has a cloud around it 10 times thicker than the smog cloud around Los Angeles and it has now become impossible to see the White House to actually see what they are doing any longer. It began with His first lie when he said this will be the most transparent administration in History and since that day if his lips are moving he is lying. Obama care, Fast and Ferious, Benghazi, NSA spying, FBI spying, Sneaking weapons to Al Quada through a rouse of helping the insurgents in Egypt over throw a dictator, doing the same thing in Libya and even supplying air support with out Congressional approval, drawing a red line in the sand and a year later when it happens he said it was not his red line but the worlds red line when no one else in the world was saying a word. Then he wants to attack Syria, then he wants a vote to attack Syria and now he wants Russia to partner up with to cover his butt.....Now we have Obama care kicking in and even the Unions that backed him are baulking about the health care program along with many Americans that want it killed. O'Reilly made a comment last night that explained every bit of it.  He said that he has been involved in news for over 35 years all the way back to the Nixon years and he has never seen an administration in such total confusion and turmoil in all his years of news broadcasting.........He hit the nail on the head.
  14. They had her on O'Reilly  and Fox the other night along with a few other idiots voicing similar opinions like her.......Die hard brain dead Obama followers for sure.................... :yuck: :yuck:
  15. I think this has been mentioned once but when it comes to WMD's I would assume that in 1945 we were the first ones to ever use them. The Atomic Bomb I think would fall under the category of a WMD considering how much damage and carnage  they did and how many people they killed even years after they were dropped. Now with that said, Yes it did drive Japan to the peace table quickly and end WWII. The real difference is the use of Chemical weapons on people with a stone age mentality does not really work in my opinion. If we were to bomb them because of it we would be no better than the ones that used the chemical weapons because our bombs would do nothing more than kill a bunch more stone age innocent civilians. By now Assad has been able to move his weapons and filled those spaces with thousands of innocent civilians for us to kill and then parade the dead bodies all over the press to show what we did.........jmho
  16. Neither one of them will get my vote when their time is up. The Rino is long past being voted out and should have been gone long ago. Corker has not been in long but has walked in Lamars footsteps instead of his own which tells me he is a follower and not a leader so he has to go too.......jmho
  17.     +1 on this one
  18.     I don't think we will have to test them. They seem to be well capable of voluntarily showing their stupidity without any help........jmho
  19. I didn't know that U.S. snipers went mountain goat hunting with Barret rifles and those look a lot more like turbans being blown threw the air than a goat.......but that is jmho   They can make the title what ever they want to if they don't want to let the truth out about what the video is really about....again jmho   If they were hunting goats I would think they would use a more conventional rifle for that purpose.
  20. They began sending weapons and arms to our enemies back in the 1970's when they sent Weapons to the Afghanistan rebels when they were fighting the Russians. They also sent men over there to train them on how to best use the weapons to defeat the Russians. back then a your leader of the guerrillas in Afghanistan was man named Osama Bin Laden and the man sent to train him was non other than Arnold Schwarzkopf who later became the General in charge of operation Desert Storm. Folks, arming our enemies is nothing new. It is just now not as easy to hid their actions with all of the news outlets covering every move anyone makes. Somewhere on one of my old computers I have pictures of Arnold and Bin Laden standing beside each other while he is explaining how to use of the weapons.
  21. Just my opinion here but it seems that many folks don't have much faith in a 22lr or 22 Mag hand gun. Back in my younger days when I hunted a lot I killed many big deer while Squirrel hunting during deer season with both a 22lr Semi auto rifle and also a 22 mag bolt action rifle. Folks don't give enough credit to what damage can be done with a  rim fire round when placed in right locations. If a person practices enough a 22 caliber gun can be a very effective self defense weapon.........jmho
  22. The link listed below is of a U.S. Sniper in Afghanistan taking out Taliban snipers trying to get positions to kill Americans. It does have some graphic scenes so if your squeamish you may not want to watch it.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyjU7WKvO9c
  23.   I get responses back from both Corkscrew and Lamar all the time but you can tell they are written by one of his flunkies and not truly coming from them. Pretty much almost form letters from two total failures.........jmho
  24. Gosh nice pictures ..............  Only critters I have are rabbits, squirrels, Doves and Hummingbirds...........
  25.   Thanks Mav, I was wondering there for a while if I had imagined hearing that he had said it..............
