If the truck has low vacuum that can be causing your sluggish transmission issues. Rather than using Starting fluid to check for leaks which if a plug wire arks off you could get seriously injured, use carburetor cleaner. A lot lower flash point but will find a vacuum leak as well as starting fluid while being much safer. You might find your problem in the Ignition Module mounted on the side of the distributor. You will need a 7mm small socket to remove it and look at metal plate on the bottom side where it mounts to distributor. If there is any small spot on the metal plate that does not look normal you need to replace it as a circuit in side has probably burned out. Also I would dump a few bottles of Gas dry in fuel tank to remove any moisture or water you have in the tank. Buying water at filling stations is becoming more often these days with the ethanol levels that older vehicles are not designed for. Hope you find the issue and can get it corrected.............. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Golden Corral has already been advertising on TV that they will be feeding all the vets for free on Veterans Day across the country. Have not seen anything from Apple Bees but I figure they will step up to the plate as they have the last few years. I am very proud of my country as they have and are still doing so much for our Veterans and Wounded Warriors. I just wish Washington DC could learn a few things from the people. "WE THE PEOPLE" would be more than glad to give them some advice, I'm sure...............................To the Troops I........ :usa: :usa: :usa: You all.

Great post and than you for posting it. Yea, there are a lot more folks in this country that care more about others than themselves than most folks realize. Very touching article and post for sure. .............

TODAY'S LESSONS IN IRONY We are told not to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics. But on the other hand, we are also encouraged to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. How is that supposed to work? Meanwhile, The National Park Service, administered by the U.S Department of the Interior, asks us "Please do not feed the animals." Their stated policy is because "The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves. Thus ends today's irony lesson.

Well this is really a complicated discussion for sure but then just because a person claims to be an atheist does not truly make it so. During my time in Nam I met a very strongly out spoken atheist. Well it came a time during a major fire fight that he was mortally wounded and I was able to reach him and speak with him in his last moments and he spent his last few minutes and he looked at me and asked me if I thought GOD would forgive him for his actions while here on earth as he was born into a christian home and only later converted. I told him that GOD is a very loving and forgiving GOD and I thought he would be forgiven by God and I don't know if he heard it all but I can only hope he did. I think that many people claiming to be an atheist are mainly just trying to draw attention to them selves and are not really what they claim to be. When you ask them how they came to be on the earth most cannot truly explain it................jmho

I think before I sought our a lawyer You might try talking to someone in the real estate business. I have found when it comes down to knowing about the many different situations on land and houses they seem to know more than many lawyers and can advise you more and it won't cost you and arm and leg....................jmho

Obama met with all those red state democrats today that are sweating their jobs in 2014 and he was nice enough to give them all baby pacifiers and tell them not to worry cause the ACA computer site will be up by end of this month and every one I hear talking about it on the news say it won't be ready by then............  -
It would be hard for me to buy anything but old #7 J.D. Black...............

Well today I got to talk with 5 different people that have managed to get on the ACA website and see what plans were available to them and buddy not 1 of them was happy but all 5 were really mad. All of them had insurance before it got dropped last month. One guy has wife and two children ages 5 and 7. He had insurance that was costing him $179.00 per month with a $500.00 deductible per year and once that was reached it went to zero for the remainder of that year. The only plan he qualified for on the exchange his Price is $208.00 per month and has $5,000.00 deductible before any insurance even kicks in to pay any bills. He has a new doctor and a new hospital which both a re 47 miles away from where they live when his former doctor was 5 miles away and the hospital was 7 miles away from his home. The other 4 folks had pretty much the same story except for 1 and he is only 22 years old and no family and his policy would cost him $149.00 a month with a $2500.00 and his doctor and hospital we both over 30 miles from his home and he has a doctor and a hospital withing 10 miles of his home that are not in the plan. Also not one of them qualifies for a tax credit. I have a feeling the ER's in most hospitals are going to be very busy with people that choose to pay the fine rather than buy an exchange plan. The entire plan is more than a train wreck. It is a #7 earthquake on the rector scale for sure......jmho

I have numerous forms of emergency lighting but in all honesty I have never thought about glow sticks. I have numerous large battery powered lights and also have Coleman Propane mantle lanterns with a good stock of 1 lb bottles because my Coleman cook stove also uses them. I also have the touch lights hanging on walls in every room but as you said they don't produce a bunch of light but better a little light than no light. I have a Big Lots about a mile from my house so will go there today and see if they have any glow sticks. I know Academy Sports does have them in several sizes and will also check them out. Nice thing about the Coleman lanterns is they also do produce a certain amount of heat which can help in cooler weather as a heat source in small area but area also needs to be vented a little.............jmho

How many people here believe he was robbing the store to pay child support please raise your hand. Now how many people here believe he was robbing the store to buy drugs raise your hand.........

Well, I have never seen a parent yet that cannot tell you how good their child was. Even John Wayne Gassey's mother said he was a good man and had about 20+ dead children buried in his yard and under his house. When anyone makes a decision to become a criminal and begin robbing stores they know it s wrong and they know that there may be a time when things could go bad for them but they chose that way of life and should be ready to suffer the outcome. In this case it was an outcome of permanent ending to what may have turned out that sooner or later they may have killed store owner of any other innocent by stander. If the man that killed them did fear for his life and was in between them and the get away car and driver then he had the total right to defend himself. I look forward to hearing more about this case as it moves forward...............jmho

The main question folks here have failed to ask is why do you want to buy her the gun? Is it for recreational shooting or self defense. Knowing that might help with folks offering up more accurate solutions. Recreational shooting you can start with a 20 gauge semi auto and have the stock adjusted by cutting down a little if needed and adding a good quality recoil pad or even step up and buy a Hydro-coil butt plate for recreational shooting. If your looking for a self defense weapon again you might look at a semi auto 20 gauge with custom fit and good recoil pad. But also you won't need to worry as much about recoil because with her adrenal pumping from fear she will not even feel the recoil of the gun and she won't have to worry about reloading until she has gone through the 6 rounds that the gun will hold once the wooden plug is removed. Also you can buy an extra barrel for a semi auto and for recreational shooting use a 28 inch modified choke and for house defense you can install an 18 inch improved cylinder barrel with great scatter capabilities covering a greater area. You can have 1 gun that covers both issues and you can by 00 Buck for 20 gauge shotguns or any other size shot. Right now 20 gauge ammo is still fairly accessible...........................jmho

Another case of stupid is as stupid does. Why would anyone post a copy of their carry permit on Face Book of all places for the whole world to see? Like hipower, I am not a Face Bookie either. My daughter set up an account for me and I have tried 100 times to delete the damn thing and cannot get it done. It;s like once they trap you your trapped for life. I get emails from people all the time wanting to be friends and I just delete them without even opening any more. I love my daughter but sometimes she can be a pain in the butt and this is one of them.............
