  1.   Many of mine are empty when I leave the range but never all. The gun I carry is still loaded and back ups for it are also in my mag packs on my belt. Other than that, yea most are empty and gives me something to do when I return home.....lol  Reload the mags..........jmho
  2. Well, Its their own stupidity that is causing their problems. I think they have lost several of their biggest gun and ammo manufacturers already and more are looking for someplace to go by the numbers. That also drives away all the companies that make parts for the Gun manufacturers and the ammo companies. If you drive away some of your most popular industries you can expect to  have your corporate taxes to leave with them.........jmho
  3. I have at least 5 magazines for every gun I own and they are all fully loaded and stored right next to the gun they are for. I would rather throw hot lead down range at target then throw an empty magazine at a bad guy trying to come in my door.  Have been doing this for many years and never had an issue at the range yet using Mags that have been loaded for a year or longer...............jmho
  4. I have lived in Chicago while growing up and moved away at age 17. I have lived in Tennessee ever since. The crime rate in Chicago by itself is worse than the entire state of Tennessee even with Memphis. Heck the Populaton of Tennessee is just barely above the population of Cook County Chicago to begin with. I would never consider living in Chicago ever again. I think for the most part they are just trying to draw attention away from the real major crime areas beginning with Washington DC, New York and Chicago and how come Los Angeles was not included in that list. There are more gangs in LA that all of Chicago and New York combined. Is California that special they don't fit into the equation?...................jmho
  5. Yea I know how folks are always wanting more speed. I figure most new machines will be much faster then this 10 year old box but my issues are not speed as much as just not getting booted off lone so often and downloading things and being told my computer that I cannot down load something because my computer speed is to slow or I get booted off in the middle of a download and have to start all over a couple times before I get the download complete. I figure there should be some sales on new puters with Christmas Sales going on. Anyone got any ideas what stores I may want to check with?  Any ideas would be appreciated.   Bersaguy
  6. Very funny TDR..................   Going shopping for new computer this weekend. Repair guy says my old machine won't runn all the new stuff................ :ugh:  :ugh:
  7. My Computer is about to crash and going into shop today so will see ya'll when I get it back   Ya''ll stay safe while I am gone..........................
  8. I would be willing to bet you would have no problems shooting the High Speeds as they are jacketed. You could probably shoot the Hi-Skor's also but I would want to make sure I cleaned my barrel after shooting them...........jmho I can remember when the Hi -Skor's were the top of the line rounds when I was a kid.
  9. In today's times with the way the world is going and the way Washington DC is acting what this article portrays it not really out of the realm of possibility by no means. There is civil unrest all across many countries of the world and for those who think it cannot happen here they need to get their heads out of the sand now and just look around and listen to what is being spewed out of the mouth's in Washington DC and educate themselves of the facts of reality smacking them right between the eyes for being so naive into thinking it can't happen here or to me....................jmho
  10. I have not been planning on voting for any incumbents so he was not going to get my vote anyway.........I think it is time for a bunch of new blood in Washington and away with all the Rino's and Career politicians and I think they all need 3 year term limits and their lifetime salaries for a serving a couple years cut to 1/3 their salaries and they should not begin receiving them until they reach age 65. Let them go back into the private sector and see how hard it is to find a job and then add it to their pension pay............jmho
  11. I just hope they don't drag this out as long as they did Michael Jackson's life story. He was in the news over a year with people praising him and his actions and I think he really deserved nothing more but the dirt that is covering him right now but that is.............. jmho
  12. Good riddance is all I can say. I just love happy endings................. :woohoo: :woohoo:
  13. If the movie does not get a 2 star rating it won't be made in DVD. Sounds like it won't make the grade but one never knows now days.............jmho
  14. Well I guess most folks are right about their opinions I have read. I guess I am just old fashion and remember Christmas in a different light and have not stayed up with the times. In all honesty I will just sit back and remember the old commercials from years ago and remember what Christmas is really suppose to be about. i have not had to do any Christmas shopping in years anyway. All my kids are grown and my grandchildren are all grown and having children of their own and I have just went to Walmart and bought gift cards for the Great grand babies and let their parents buy for them and put from Santa on the packages to them...............jmho
  15. I got to see the entire interview on 60 minutes and I have no doubt that he is a very brave and totally honest man and to even admit that he laid his rifle down to cover his ears so he would not hear one of his brothers dying. That does not at all make him a coward in my opinion. It makes him  human and not just a killing machine but a human with feelings. I have the utmost respect for him and he is a hero as much as any soldier in our military and he even admitted that the movie may have been based on his book but it is only a Hollywood movie. I will be sure and go see it and see how it does compare to what his interview was about................jmho
  16. I think that is amazing to say the least and a wonderful tool that can help many people. I just hope and pray that the medical industry that makes artificial limbs see it as a threat and try to figure out a way to stop them or make them illegal to provide for people that need them and don't have 25 grand to buy one from a doctor..................jmho
  17. I have a Marlin 25 MN that I love to shoot and it is a tack driver for sure. It is equip with a 3-12x40 Weaver and is a very good combination. Maybe a little more scope than gun needs but works great for me. I also have a Savage 93 Stainless w/ neoprene stock but have not put scope on it yet. It is very accurate with steel sights but gun deserves to have a good scope on it.................jmho
  18. Well, I think I have read all the posts here now and I can say this about my business of making fishing baits before I sold it last month. I made soft plastic hand poured baits for bass anglers for 18 years. During that time I am sure I made baits for at least 3 different gay fishing teams that fished tournaments. I fished some of the tournaments also. I had one team order a really large amount of baits and their bill was well over $175.00 dollars and I walked up and handed them the bags of baits and they handed me my money and I said thank you and walked away. Another guy from another team walked up to me and made a remark to me that the team I just sold them baits to are gay. I don't think he was expecting my reply. I looked at him and pull the wad of folded up money out of my pocket and looked at him and I said ,Well they have real greenbacks and I don't care what there preferences are. Their money is the same and spends just as good as any body else's and I will make them baits any time they order them. By the way, the guy that went out of his way to point out the gay team had never made a bait order from me before his comment and I am really glad he didn't order any after that because he would have paid at least double price. I am not a prejudice person and not judgmental about anyone as long as they do not try and shove something at me that I don't want to be involved in. I do have several gay friends that most folks don't even know they are gay. They don't flaunt it and don't do anything out of a straight type atmosphere when around me and my friends and some of my friends don't even know they are gay. They think they are room mates sharing a house to save on rent. As far as the baker, unless he does have a posted sign in his establishment in clear sight regarding his right to refuse service, by law he can't refuse service to anyone. Had a few buddies that owned businesses learn that the hard way through large fines and court costs. As far as the gay couple, they were just being overbearing and flaunting their gay rights and pushing an envelope beyond where it needed to go. I'm sure there were other bakeries that would have appreciated getting their business. I say both the baker and the Gay couple were both wrong and both of them were just trying to draw attention to themselves......................jmho
  19.         I thought it was funny when I heard that Hillary was on Air Force 1 and Bill Clinton was on another plane. Anyone think there might be trouble in Paradise in the Clinton Household??? :stunned:
  20. I have been paying more attention to the TV commercials more this year than normal and I have just a few questions about them. I have been watching a few of the latest Ford commercials with kids about 12 years old sitting on Santa's lap and asking him for Super Duty Ford trucks and Ford Focus's that park themselves. Also I see a lot of Santa commercials advertising Mercedes Benz automobiles and driving one like a sleigh.Gosh and they start at only $29,996.00. I'm sure people are breaking their necks to get to a Mercedes dealer right now to get two of them!!!!! All of the Auto makers are in on the Christmas advertising. I am just curious as to how many people here are going to buy their 12 year old kids a new Super duty Ford truck or a Focus that parks itself? If it's not cars it's Diamonds. They advertise Diamonds at prices starting at $1,000.00 and go up from there. With this economy how many people can afford to just run out and buy Diamonds for a couple grand for Christmas?? I also wonder how many people buy new Cell Phones for gifts? Nothing like buying someone a new phone and giving them another debt to pay for each month. I can see buying a new phone if you can move your existing service over to it but if you buy an AT&T phone and have Verizon service can you change the service on the phone without paying an arm and a leg?  What happen to all the children's toy commercials that were on TV when I was a kid?  Lincoln Logs and erector sets, Chatty Kathy and Easy Bake Ovens. Have kids been all but left out of what Christmas really is all about? I know the real Reason for the Season has been all but removed from our lives. Has it been removed from the children too?????...................jmho
  21. Well Mr Obama is on his way to his homeland to speak at the Nelson Mandelia services. Is there anyone here hoping he might decide to just stay at home and see about running for President Of South Africa. I don't think I would mind having George Bush come back one alone on Air Force 1. Evidently Carter and Clinton didn't want to be on the same plane with him and they flew together in another plane. In all honesty I wonder why Bush didn't fly with Carter and Clinton an flew with Obama?................jmho
  22. Things are getting totally out of control in our school systems and of course the local news medias will remain out of it because they support it and don't want to come under fire so they just keep quiet and let the UK report it. Kids cannot be kids anymore unless they have their faces glued to a video games filled with violence and then wonder why kids act out and punish them for stupid things. God help it if someone actually saw kids playing cowboys and indians this day in time. They would probably be jailed..............jmho
  23. I can promise everyone here that all my guns are tools and all of them have some sort of holster rash on them as I do swap off my guns for carry purposes so they have all been shot numerous times at the range and all have holster rash. I didn't buy them to look at. I bought all of them for use and use them I do. They all remain loaded with hot tubes where ever they may be in my house.............jmho
  24. Gosh, the range I go to has I think 8 lanes and targets are a buck each and for $10 you can shoot all day if you want to and can afford it. 20 bucks and hour is a little much. I can get yearly for $250.00 but cannot afford to shoot that much so just pay the daily when I can afford some extra ammo. I went into Ricks place one time back many moons ago when it was a combination Curio and sporting goods shop but didn't have a range and that one trip was enough for me and never went back............jmho
  25. Does anyone actually get surprised at anything this administration does these days. After the Fast and Furious Scandal that no one ever got charged or convicted in even when American agents were killed with FNF sold guns should make every know that anything the FBI or ATFE wants to do is allowed and should not be a surprise. Holder and Obama have them totally protected and they can do just about anything they can think up to do..........jmho
