  1. Well folks, I have zero plans on registering my firearms by standing in a line because the ones I bought in gun stores or had a back ground check done on me at time of purchase are already registered. Does anyone here actually think that at 10 o'clock each night that the TBI really deletes all the back ground checks they did that day? I don't and never did. They can say they do all they want but I don't believe them. Also if they do back ground checks do they not use a Federal data base to do it. Believe me the Feds know about every gun that was legally purchased through a back ground check. The ones they don't know about are the ones you purchased years ago of bought from another individual. Those are the guns they hope folks are stupid enough to register because they are the guns they don't know you have..........jmho
  2. Stupid is as stupid does. If a guy is standing there holding a rifle and you are in the process of stealing some of his property and you are stupid enough to move in that mans direction and threaten to kill him all I can say is you need to get shot................jmho
  3. If they still had all the original history books I was taught out of the Black people could learn the real truth about their black history. They would learn that it was their own race in Africa that captured and sold their own people in slavery. They would learn that it was their own people here that controlled the auctions where their ancestors where sold into slavery. It is only because they have not been taught the truth. They have only taught what the Liberals want them to know which are mostly all lies and that is why we have the problems we have with the real race issues. They have been taught to hate from birth and they will be taught to hate as long as the Liberia's are educating the children...........jmho  I have never been a racist and I have many Black friends that also are not racists. They hate Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and others like them and no they did not vote for Obama just because he is black and most of them didn't vote for him at all. One of them even told me after the election that the people made a great mistake in electing him. He was right and he knew it. We talk often and he will avoid any discussions that involve politics because it makes him mad because of how stupid he said the people were for ever electing him. He is about my age so he also remembers the original history books and knows the truth.
  4. I would imagine that the number of folks that have an HCP are almost always armed if away from home for any reason. I think that for a couple reasons, 1st being I don't think people would pay the money they do for the classes they must go through just to get the HCP.  2nd, I don't think most folks would pay the money out to the state to get the HCP if they don't plan on carrying it in most cases. 3rd is folks have been wanting to be able to legally protect their loved one while out in public for many years and many of them carried before they were ever allowed to have an HCP.  Everyone I know that has an HCP is never not armed when away from home and I know a lot of HCP holders. I for one won't even walk to my post box out at my street without a gun of some kind with me.  I have a very many buddies that both them and their wives never leave the safety of their homes not armed. When we get together and go out to eat we have to be selective where we go because in all cases all of us will have a weapon on our person and that included's wives. Does that sound paranoid? It might to an anti gun person but not to any person that is wanting to know they can protect themselves and their family or friends in the event of an incident......................jmho

  6. I guess a guy buys a badge and he is automatically a law enforcement officer..........I hope the real LEO's took his toy badge away from him for impersonating an LEO and took him to jail.............jmho
  7. I read an article back a couple years ago and wish now I would have saved it and may have on my older computer but it was interesting. It was a statistic that showed the amount of big game hunting licenses that were sold in the state of Michigan and Pennsylvania. In Michigan it showed something like 590,000 sold and in Pennsylvania it was like 780,000 sold in the same year. That is 1,370,000 people that bought a license to hunt big game in just two of the lower 48 states. The report showed that just those two states reflected more owners of High Powered rifles for big game hunting than the number of people in our US Army and that was just in two states. If you begin adding up the other serious big game hunters in the southern states like Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Texas and Louisiana to that number in just two Yankee states I wonder what the numbers would be. I am sure that in most of those stats very few include Black Rifles. I'm sure these stats were made several years back before the big push for the Black rifles became so popular but I thought it was an interesting read at the time..................jmho  It goes to show just how well armed this nation really is IMO. I'm sure that many of those who own a high powered rifle would surely also own at least one hand gun of some type.
  8. All my life I have seen auxiliary police officers working on local sheriffs departments in uniforms that mostly only work on special events like parades and school activities like foot ball games and such and they are sworn in deputies with all the authority of any other deputy and many donate their time. Why can't they not do this in areas that are short of regular officers? Are they afraid that they may do a better job than the paid ones do?...........jmho
  9. Prayers being sent for Brandon and his family................... :ugh: :ugh:
  10. Yea , that is why I told all my scouts out there that if they see it buy it. They said do you want me to call you first and I said no call me after you bought it to let me know you got some..........................
  11. I am not even sure they are being printed on the same paper material money was printed on back years ago which was actually a  cloth material from a lint waste by product from the Levi Strauss company. Since Levi's are no longer made in USA I don't know if the Feds can get the material any longer...............jmho
  12. You got that right about the 22mag ammo being hard to find jonnin. I have been looking for it for over a year and What I have I am afraid to shoot. I have everyone I know on the lookout for it and I tell them if they find it buy it and I will refund them their money + a tip  for their help. ...........jmho
  13. I don't know that much about Harwell but I do has Haslam speaks with FORKED TONGUE buy I have had several people tell me that they were at a range a couple different times and Ramsey was there shooting and that he also shoots clays out at the Range on Centennial Blvd also. That is what I have heard from friends but never actually saw it. The friends that told me are close friends and I don't think they would have reason to lie about it............jmho
  14. I like Hornaday 30gr V-Max myself. Not as heavy a bullet but penetration is better and I have not had any issues with them not killing what they hit.........jmho
  15. Maybe the TFA needs to explain to the folks that want to compromise just how many votes they will be compromising by trying to play their games. I think about 2/3rds or more of Tennesseans are gun owners so their compromising may cost them 2/3rds or more of the votes in 2014 also. If they are worrying about getting or losing votes because it is an election year rather than doing what is right for the people then they need to be replaced with someone that will put the people first...............jmho
  16. Oh yea, they get inventory sheets about two or three days ahead of time telling them what is coming in on what trucks so they can make the shelves ready for stock in coming.   If an employee tells you he/she does not know when they will get an item in either he/she does not have anything in his/her work areas on the trucks and didn't get an inventory sheet or they are lying to you. One or the other................
  17. My Grandfather had 2 Belgium's on the farm and man they would work. Very smart and knew every command my grand father gave them. I saw them pull stumps out of the ground I think a big John Deere would have had great difficulty pulling out.......................
  18. I have another video that was never used on TV. An old bait customer of mine was also the advertising manager for Budweiser and after seeing the promo video he made the decision it would be a bad move to run it at that time. Since then he has retired from Bud but they have never aired this video to the best of my knowledge. he may have took it with him when he left and is not available in their inventory any longer. This video was made in I believe 2003. Just click on picture and it will go to my photo gallery so you can see the video. Be a little prepared as it is a touching video for sure. 19. Well, they all asked me back in the summer what I would like to have for Christmas because they say I am so hard to buy for so they pretty much knew well ahead of time but I know they had to work hard to find the ammo........... Now the Liquor was the easy part I'm sure...........
  20. I can remember when Santa came to our house when my boys were small and Santa had to assembly toys and the most aggravating thing was when you ran into their not being a part in the box required to assemble the toy and you had to begin improvising  parts to finish the toy. I don't know if the toy companies have gotten any better over the years with making sure all parts are included since I have not had to play Santa in many years now.............
  21. My Grandsons all got me some 22lr ammo as one of them works in one of the Walmart stores and together each got me a brick of 500. My son in law and daughter did a repeat of every year with a 1/5th Gentleman Jack and a 1/5th of Jack Black ole # 7. My son and his family got me 5 boxes of 380 ammo which they began looking for back in September for and bought a couple each time they found it. Looks like more range time for me in my future now....................
  22. W had his faults for sure and the war in Iraqi was more a Chenny war than a W war but W got the blame for it just the same........jmho  At least W didn't try and force folks to do things they didn't want to such as Obama is doing with the ACA. W never wanted to be a dictator but did want to be a President. I often wonder what would have happened had Obama been in office on 9/11/2001?????
  23. Great find Red and I know you and your wife will enjoy it..........
  24. I don't think I can find words to say how much I enjoyed that. Thank you very much for posting it on this day...........................    MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!!!
  25. When I first saw them I thought it was a new kind of Monopoly Money from a game. They say they are harder to counterfeit but with all the new colors on it a high end color copy machine could probably make them. I still like the old ones better and I am surprised ole Ben was not replaced with Barry's picture................  After all he is the one spending it faster than they can print it.............jmho
