  1. I would surely have had to speak to someone at Gun City and alert them of the issue before the shooter next to you did actually hurt someone like hitting them in the face or other unprotected area.  You would have been doing everyone involved a favor................jmho
  2. I operated a fishing tournament for 4 years ending last year and no son in law is director and I held them out of Corps boat ramp here in Gallatin. During that time I always carried. Sometimes on hot days I would open carry and several times I would have Corps Park Rangers stop by and visit and many time TWRA wardens would stop in and not one of them ever said a word about my being armed on Corps property. I also had that same question you did and I spoke with a TWRA warden about it one time. I learned that they really cannot enforce a law about being armed on corps property while they allow water fowl and deer hunting and hunters to have guns on ramps and on Corps property while hunting. Just was his reply.
  3.       Although I totally agree with you 100% Why did Eric Holder walk free and this guy get busted and now going to be tried when Holder was not even arrested when it was proven that some of the Holder deal guns got border agents killed..............I guess Fast and Furious was legal then?
  4. So lets see???    It is okay if the Attorney General of the United States Mr. Holder does this with the help of his FBI cronies and it was in some way legal but it is illegal for this guy to do it. Can anyone show me a difference between the two cases? ( Except Holder got away with it and this guy didn't)?????................just curious what others think?
  5. Well, all in all I am glad that I was able to get a lot of attention to my post anyway. It also enabled me to learn were many folks minds are. They are for the most part on two items with guns being one and a little blue pill for another................ :biglol: :biglol:
  6. Folks might check out Ammoman. He has been sending me updates regularly on new inventories as he gets them in and right now has some stuff on sale with free shipping.
  7. I have never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer but it was funny and what is also funny is learning where most guys thoughts are most of the time............................
  8. I got the renewal form in the mail in mid February and my old HCP does not expire till June 2014 so they send them out early enough for you to send them back and get you new ones before the old ones expire.
  9.       Nope, don't do twitter or Facebook and seldom watch TV during the day with all them women gossiping about everything under the sun. As far as pop culture the first real time I heard about Viagra  I heard it was being used as a party drug in New York and young ladies would throw a party and invite guys to the party. when they were greeted at the door they were handed 3 little blue pills and a glass of water and if they didn't take the pills they could not stay. That is about all I know about the product and what I see on TV and their dumb commercials. The one where to guy is driving his beautiful Camaro and the temp gauge is pegged on hot and he walks into a store and dumps a 20 ounce bottle of water in it and drives home. 20 ounces of water is not going to cool that engine down much less make it drivable. the there is the guy with the horse trailer that gets his dodge 4x4 stuck in a mud hole and instead of just putting it in 4 wheel drive he gets his horses out to pull the truck out of the mud puddle. Their commercials alone would keep me from buying their products..............jmho
  10.   Oh!!!! :ugh:    I see the point now. I guess I do need to work on my titles some huh?............. :hiding:  But who would order a bottle of Viagra and then post it on an open website for the world to see that he got it. Isn't that why they advertise that they ship stuff like that discretely in unmarked boxes. I don't know cause I have never ordered any..............
  11. Ok please tell me why you were scared to click on it?
  12. My renewal took 23 days from date I mailed it till I got it back today.....
  13. :panic:     Ok, so what is wrong with my titles????
  14. well, I didn't see any signs of two hands or two feet with a line threw them so that means anyone that has registered hands or feet because they are a Master Black Belt is good to go in there....................jmho
  15. Well, there is another species of carp out there and most DNR's in most states call them grass carp. In all reality they are actually Israeli Carp and are from Israel and many DNR's began importing them into the country as far back as the 1950's for two reasons. (1) Put them in lakes to help control the weed growth and (2) was because they are sterile and will not reproduce. I wonder when the Israelis are going to complain about the carp being called Grass carp which is not the proper name for them??????
  16. Best definition of ObamaCare                 Nancy Pelosi said:                 “We have to pass it, to find out what’s in it.”                 A Doctor called-in to a radio show and said:                 "that's the definition of a stool sample".
  17. Got my new HCP in the mail today. I only sent it off about two weeks ago and got it today. Great service I would say for a government operation.................jmho
  18.   I was just thinking that same thing Chuck. If 50% were killed  while not wearing the belts that does mean that 50% died while wearing them so what is the real benefit in wearing them. I do wear mine but because it's the law and not because I feel any safer..............jmho
  19. You better believe 2 things for sure. I ain't buying anything out of the trunk of anyone's car that I am not familiar with and (2) I will be doing just like buck1032 and bolting at a high rate of speed if there is anything in that truck with a class III rating period!!!!!!..............jmho
  20. Well, okay let me see if I got this right. We all know that no one back in the old west was required to register their firearms. So serial numbers may or may not belong to any said persons gun. How would anyone be able to prove even with a serial number that it was in fact Earps gun? Just like that shotgun they sold previously. How can they actually prove it was Earps Shotgun? Who comes up with the real proof of the original owner of a gun that was owned by a good guy or bad guy back in the post Civil War years can actually prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that a gun belonged to a certain person back then. I have often wonder this over the years just how this is done. I know about 5 years ago they had a gun auction and were selling guns that belonged Jesse and Frank James.  Just like the auction of Bonnie Parker's nickle plated model 1902 38 semi auto. How do they know that the gun didn't belong to Clyde. I mean according to what records are available Bonnie and Clyde always had a small arsenal of guns at their disposal and used what ever they could lay their hands on when they needed a gun. I just find all of it hard to prove to be actual fact of things for back in those days as belonging to any one person over another........................jmho. I am not nor ever will be a Curio collector because I would never have that kind of money to tie up in guns but I just find all of it mysterious..........jmho
  21. I can't remember exactly when the BPS opened in Opry Mills but I know it has been a long time. I live in Gallatin which is about 35 minutes away. Since the store opened I have been in it twice. I didn't drive but rode with a buddy that was going down there for something. Both times I bought the same thing. They had my outboard motor oil on sale and had plenty in stock so I stocked up for the next 2 years on oil and also got about 5 bags of Circus Peanuts which I dearly love. To just go there on my own in my vehicle will never happen. For some reason I have to drive right past an Academy Sports Store and for some strange reason my Jeep just automatically turns into Academy's parking lot and I never see BPS..................jmho
  22. Well considering it is taking place in Illinois I would not be the least bit surprised. yes the people do have the power to change what goes on in their school systems and other areas of Government but whether they are willing to do what is right and use their power to do so in that state is questionable at best. The entire state is a train wreck..............jmho
  23. I have never seen areal reason to complain about the weather regardless of where I am at the time, reason being I have never figure out I can do anything about it so why complain. It is what it is and just put on clothes accordingly, go outside, stay inside and just enjoy life and realize that the only way to deal with cold or cool weather and win in move to the Bahamas and the you only have to complain about Hurricanes and rain............
  24. Myself and my opinion is I would not live in Nashboro Village or many areas around it and the crime rate in that area has really elevated since Antioch has become a center for gang activity about 10 years ago without having weapons in my home and on my person...........jmho
  25. It was not just Yankee states he carried in the election my friend. There were quite a few Southern states that voted him into office as well.........jmho
