sounds to me like he was just being nosy and maybe leaning to the cautious side of things since he was probably carrying also............jmho -
Does your neighborhood have leash laws? We have them here were I live and for many years I kept the Queen on a running cable 80 feet long and 25 foot off cable giving hear room to roam yet still be attached to the 80 foot cable. Now since she has gotten up in years and knows where her yard is during the day she is loose but at night is back on cable. If Joggers come by the house on the street she barks without ever getting up because that requires more effort than joggers deserve according to he thoughts I guess. Chasing a jogger is out of question for her. Entirely to much effort............ I would see if there is a leash law and if there is I would report the owners. I would find out if their dogs have had their shots and get my dog checked out by vet and send them the bill and take legal action against them if they didn't pay it................jmho

Well, went to the range this morning. Had two guns to shoot I bought but had never shot. First one was the M four 22lr I bought from Jonathan. Gun performed flawlessly and was dead on at distance he said it is sighted in at. Disappointed in myself. It has been years since I shot a long gun without a Bi-pod in sitting position and it only took one magazine to remind me of why. First magazine dead on at 50 yards and every round center mass. By the end of first magazine shoulders were killing me with pain. I put in second magazine and had to quit shooting half way through it because of shoulder pain and could not hit center of target. Rested shoulders and finished 2nd mag. Got out bi-pod and sat down with third magazine and new target. 25 rounds could cover hole with half dollar center mass. Great gun, broken old man shooting. Also shot a LCP I have bought and never shot so moved target to 15 feet and went through 2 mags 14 rounds all in the red so will be keeping that one for my Get Off Me pocket gun. Now have to decide what to do about M four 22lr since I will not beat myself up trying to shoot it. Getting old sucks!!!!! ..................... :ugh: :ugh: :ugh:

I know how to change out the batteries in my TV remotes, Battery operated digital clocks and Smoke and Fire detectors in my house. Does that qualify me??????

I bought that M four-22 Jonathan had for sale. I think it's gong to make a good gun for me since I need a long gun in 22 lr and was looking at Long rifles when that one popped up for sale. I am not an AR owner but carried them for 5 years back in late 60's early 70's so familiar with their capabilities. Might start back tree rat hunting this year. A buddy of mine keeps complaining about all of them he has on his place and ain't have no squirrel - dumplings for a long time so might go thin out his herd this fall GOD willing.

There is no way I could have left the place without talking to management about the issue. I am one that will ask just to know the answer. The only questions I won't ask are the ones I don't care what the answer is or the ones I already know the answer too. Other wise my inquiring mind wants to know..................

I think it might be more than just a fiber optic service line issue but that is my opinion. I can see a fiber optic line messing with certain phone companies for a short repair time period but I think to date Sprint users are the only ones saying they have not had any issues YET!!!! Not paranoid but just wondering just how many phone services are being effected. I stopped having issues yesterday about mid day.

I have never underestimated the capabilities of a 22lr and that was the reason I got that one from Jonathan last weekend. I didn't own a long 22lr at the time..........Glad you got a good one and it worked out for you..............

Yes it did , He's gone like we all knew he would be when one of the hammers showed up.................

Me. Going and burn some powder tomorrow with a buddy. Picked up that new to me Black rifle from Jonathan and need to burn up some of the 22lr I got from Dave and Samantha and also going to try a new round in my LCP. Picked up some Hydro-Shok low recoil rounds and want to see how the will work in LCP pocket pistol. It's a handful with Fiocchi's in it. Need to see if it will feed the HP's

I wonder if anyone was to ever give thought to all the laws that have been written and enacted upon us as Americans since 1776 up until Last night at midnight just how many laws there is? I have often also wondered how many people are able to obey every law on the books everyday without fail. I often wonder what is the one most ultimate stupid law ever written and by whom that is still on the books? I have become a fan of watching the history channel that has actual police shows taking place live and I listen to what the bad guys are arrested for and what the laws are that they have broken to be arrested for. So far I have learned that there are about 167 different type of laws a person can be charged with for murder. And the really funny part is the little charges they toss in for good measures. The guy has murdered 3 people and when you hear the lineup of charges they might begin with 3 counts of Simple Assault. Then they will add 3 counts of aggravated assault to be followed up by 3 counts of extra aggravated assault. 3 counts of illegal possession of a fire arm by a felon. Evading arrest, resisting arrest and then they finally get around to 3 counts Especially Aggravated 1st Degree Murder. When did murder of when has murder not been aggravated. I mean when your killing someone I would guess your aggravated of you might not be killing them. You can't even get a simple speeding ticket any more. Now they have a check list of charges the officer has a choice to go through from A-Z. It's not just 65 in a 55 Mph zone anymore. It is 65 in 55 zone, excessive speed, reckless driving and if you don't pull over in the first 25 feet of the pursuit you might be charged with attempted to evade arrest police. I have heard laws and charges used that I promise you no one could find in any law book any where if a person began looking at age 10 and died at 90 would never find those laws on paper in a law book. I have often wondered how may laws I break from the time I wake up till I make my first trip to the coffee pot in my kitchen and pour my first cup and take first sip?..................jmho -
If I bought a new Bersa and it failed to perform out of the box I would be a lot happier than if it worked out on the box at the range and failed when I needed it to work. At least you knew it was not working and could send it in for repairs before you had to depend on it...............jmho

Yamamoto was the Admiral that answer the question of why they didn't attack the USA mainland and his comment was because we would lose. There is a gun behind every blade of grass in that country!!!

It's probably already on face book so would not worry about it parrot.............jmho

"Many of us do that already, though". Yep we do all that and probably more and not on an open book like FB or Tweeter where everyone from the far reaches of the universe knows every time someone farts...............jmho

I will add this and then be done. I think that when or if the time ever comes much like the rancher issue out west ever arises around here I would be willing to bet it will pretty much turn out the be a meeting of a bunch of TGO members going to help out a new friend and show what ever support is needed to take care of the issue. I just hope the farmer or rancher we should go to help is smarter than that rancher was......If anything does happen looking forward to meeting a bunch of TGO'ers I have not met yet. Just look for the Red Jeep Chreokee with white letters on the windows. That be me..................jmho p.s. I Don't do face book either

Well considering the addiction so many people have to their cell phones, tablets, androids, laptops and all the other little electronic toys out there not it's like telling a Heroin addict your out of his fixes and he instantly goes in to DT's and with drawls. I guess I am to old fashion. I own an old desk top computer to be here with ya'll and an old flip cell phone that makes and receives calls and has voice mail, no pictures no internet or other frills and thrills because if I break down on the road I can't call for help with a home phone which by the way I don't have. I can actually see folks asking you to do that before their with drawls begin..................
