The news said tonight that they do have armed drones flying over Baghdad but only to protect the American Embassy. If they would bring all the Americans home from the Embassy they would have no reason to get involved but here is our Government  poking their big nose in another countries religious problems and Civil issues.................jmho  We all knew this was going to happen when our troops came home so why is it a surprise to D.C. that it is happening?.............. :shrug: :shrug: :shrug:

Every evening when Kasey and I go for our walk after supper we can hear different types or Military Aircraft flying from east to west in the direction of Fort Campbell. Heard Chinooks several times as they have a sound like no other. Hear Osprey several times also as they also have a sound all their own. Have not hear many smaller aircraft. Mostly Troop and equipment transports. Did hear a few C130's a couple times but they were headed towards Nashville , probably to National Guard Airbase in Nashville but not sure......Wasn't Obama the guy wanting to cut our military costs and just about "GUT" our Military last year and they have been giving our military equipment away to small town police and now they may need it all back................. :shrug: :shrug: :shrug:

back when my wife was alive our house was a house divided during foot ball season....... :rofl: I will explain just a little. I was he 2nd husband and her first husband would never involve here in the games and was kind of an overbearing guy and she hated football because of it. When we got together she wondered if it would be the same so she tested the water. She came in the Den where a few couples and I were watching a game and sat down next to me and as things would happen like a 1st down she would ask me what that meant and I would explain it to her. All during the game she would ask questions and I would answer them for her. We were watching college ball that Saturday . On  Sunday the Pro games came on and I was sitting there watching one in the den and she came and sat down beside me with more questions and a pen and pad to make notes because she had forgot some of the things from the day before. My mid season in 1989 She was a foot ball guru and had Tennessee Orange all over the house in banners and ribbons and UT stuff. She didn't bother asking if I was a UT fan which I am not. I'm a Notre Dame fan She was Titan fan and I am a Bears fan so like I said a house divided during foot ball season............... :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I watched the game last night and was thrilled to see the Dores drop the anchor on Virginia.  I knew when Norwood made contact that is was going out and my only concern was staying in side the playing field and not going foul. The beginning Vandy pitcher pitched his heart out for 5.5 innings for sure..... Congrads Dores............... :up: :up: :up:

I see no problem providing both DL and HCP when ask along with proof of Insurance. The few times I have been stopped over the years since getting it I have always offered it and every time I can remember they would look at it and proof of insurance and hand both of them back and only got 1 ticket in all those times and that was a seat belt violation that got thrown out in court........jmho

Ronald Serpas was from New Orleans and after screwing up the Metro Police department he got a chance to go back to New Orleans and become chief their so he left and I was thrilled he was gone but yea for the most part they did go shopping up north for new officers. Big Mistake!!!...............jmho

Was not my grandson but a close friends but yea the story is messed up for sure. The family has requested a full and complete investigation since the rush to claim suicide was made in less then 15 minutes of finding him by police. There is much more evidence to demand an investigation then there is to just declare it a suicide in 15 minutes.

Apparent suicide was what the Louisville Police called it but it was what most folks that know the young man as a rush decision and the family has requested an investigation before it is decided that quick. He was just down here from college for Fathers day and was in great spirits. He had just finished his college minor which was a beginning of a career in Forensic Medicine and had just signed up for his second course study on it as his major. He wanted to be a CSI. His parents and another couple were going out of town for a week and the friends ask him if he would mind dog sitting their 3 dogs while they were gone and he jumped at it and said no problem. They left out of town on Saturday and he was found on Wednesday of last week in the home of the friends in Louisville. His parents became concerned when they could not contact him on Wednesday after talking with him on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. He spoke everyday to either his dad or mom and when they could not get in touch with him by 9PM they the friends called a neighbor and ask them to go and check on him because his truck was in the drive way. They didn't hear back from the neighbor but shortly got a call from the Louisville police advising them that they might need to come home. They were told by the Lt. working the case what they had found but they would not let them see him. The LT said there was to much carnage/damage to his appearance. I have spoke with Ken about it again and he has said everyone is still in shock over it as they cannot find not 1 issue that would point to it being a suicide by anyone that knew him.  They have checked all of his computers and I pads for any kind of issues he may have been having with peer pressure or a suicide note or letter and there is nothing. Everything points to his looking forward to his future. Just does not make sense but then in every other one I have heard about they could find a reason and in this case they found zero reasons or any evidence that could cause him to do this....................jmho

A very close friend of mine just called and was all tore up. He just learned that his 23 year old Grandson apparently committed suicide according to the police in Louisville Ky. I have met this young man several times and he was always in good spirits and loved spending time with his Grandpa my close friend. I think the police have been to hasty on deciding it was suicide and so does every one that knew the young man. To many pieces of the puzzle not there to be suicide. My friend Ken H. and his family sure could use some prayers if ya'll don't mind.   I will explain the whole thing in another post.     Prayers requested for this one.

KFC will survive as they are far to popular to fail and they may even come back bigger and better from it. I drove passed the one here in Gallatin last Sunday after Church hours and it was packed as normal with drive thru filled up also. The only issue I have with the store is getting when you order through drive up so now I go inside to place my order and I check it all before I leave and if it is not right I get them to make it right. They have got to know me now and last couple trips they have made sure my order is correct and no complaints. I seem to always get the freshest cooked chicken now too. ....................jmho

Sorry to hear about Jack as I knew him and Melba when I lived down in Newsomes Station back years ago. Great folks and have not been in touch with them since I moved out of Newsomes Station in the mid 90's. Sending Prayers for the family. 

I have known about them knowing you have HCP through your license tags for over a year so it didn't surprise me when he asked if I was armed without having my drivers license yet. It would only make total sense for the tags that are on your vehicle would be connected to your motor vehicle registration which is connected to your DL so why would your HCP not be tied to it also? That is becoming the way of the world.   There is no real privacy any longer except if your the President and he has locked up his records so no one knows who he really Is        "but vote for me anyway"  Like Hillary Said."What difference does it make now"?................jmho

Just another scam caught dirty. The only truth I can see in all of it is little girl being attack by the dogs verified by Sheriffs office. Her injuries and need for more medical attention and not sure about the insurance story either. All of the KFC stuff is scam and lies. ..............jmho

New channel 5+ is going to discuss gun laws tonight at 7PM and take calls. It is channel 250 on Comcast here in Gallatin area.

I have an idea they have other plans for these vehicles in the future so they are strategically placing them in towns spread all across the Country. Save the Feds from having to transport them to a SHTF location cause there are already several located close by and have been maintained by what ever police force has them saving the Feds millions...............jmho

I am guessing that it indirectly may be available when they run you plate information and it produces your owner name and drivers license number and it may add it then....................jmho

I found this article interesting so thought I would post the link. They are giving these massive IED vehicles that weigh in at a mere 45,000 lbs to local police departments all over the country. The town this story was about didn't request it but got it anyway.  I have no real idea why the Feds would be putting them in small towns all over the country unless they have plans they have not even shared it the small towns yet. The towns will be required to do all up keep and maintenance on these beasts if they are to be used in future. Well I have eaten wild hog quite a few times and sometimes it was good but a couple times not so good. I think it is a lot in the preparation of it more than anything. I liked it BBQued on pit best all sauced up but like I have heard many folks say it is a acquired taste. Still leaving it lay in the woods will provide food for other wild critters I guess too.

Well I am sure that the meat is appreciated by the shelters that receive it for sure. It is not like the meat is being wasted and it is just a slaughter. The Neuhoff packing house in Chicago did all of the deer processing back in 1990 at no charge and had their trucks deliver all the meat to area orphanages to feed the children. Since the deer season was opened in 1990 over a million deer have been killed and tagged. You can hunt with any type bow, Shotgun slug and Muzzle Loader. No Hi powered rifles. They say because the land i so flat up there that the projectiles will travel to far. They also have meat processors in every county to process road kills as they are reported. Auto insurance companies insurance rates began falling by 1994 as less accidents involving deer were being recorded. Now if you hit a deer and call it into the county right away the county will pay your deductible on your insurance and they will have the deer picked up by the county processor. He will process it and take it to a storage facility to be dispensed to homeless shelters and other organizations.  

I know that the Feds are trying to get all of the old bills collected and have been asking banks to not re issue them back into circulation but turn them in. That is why I thought it was strange you got it out of an ATM. Must have been a private owned ATM....jmho

Back about 1990 they had to hire professional hunters to go into Chicago and thin out the deer population in the wooded areas around O'Hare Airport runways. They killed several thousand deer in a two month period and even when they were finished they still had a deer issue but instead of paying hunters to kill them they opened up a deer season which had been closed since 1948 and sold hunting licenses to hunt on O'Hare with shotgun slug only and had zones you could hunt which kept all hunters well away from the air port and landing runways. I have not heard anything about the deer being an issue up there any more but I do know they were totally out of control in the late 90's state wide................... :up: :up:

I got stopped about 6 months ago for what the officer thought was a seat belt violation. He first question upon reaching my window which was already down was, "Are your armed?" and my reply was yes. He asked where the weapon was and I told him on my hip in it's holster. He told me Sir, I pulled you over because you are not wearing your seat belt and I told him that I did have my seat belt buckled and requested permission to open my door and show him. He backed up slightly and I opened my door and he could see I had my lap belt buckled up but don't have a shoulder harness on my drivers side belt. I have a letter from my doctor telling any law enforcement office on my sun visor that due to a medical condition it is highly recommended that I do not wear any restraints across my abdomen. It went on to explain why and offered the letter but Mr LEO was not interested in reading why. He whipped out his citation book ask me for my drivers license and it is located in same compartment as carry permit so I just handed him both and he just handed my carry permit back and went to his car with my DL and wrote me a seat belt ticket. I made sure I went to court and took the doctors letter with me. The judge did take the time to read the letter and then asked the officer if he read the letter or if I offered it to him and he said yes but he didn't read it and the judge said well you should have. Then the judge looked at me, handed me my letter back and ask me if I have handicap tags on my vehicle and I said yes sir and the judge told me I could leave and told me to have a nice day while dismissing the ticket. That was when I learned that your carry permit in some way is connected to your license plates on your vehicle because the officer knew I might be armed before he ever got my drivers license because he ask if I was armed when he first approached my jeep window........jmho
