I respect every business owner for their decisions to put gun buster signs up. They make their businesses targets for all the bad guys to know they will not run into a good guy with a gun when they go in to rob the place. That means the I places do eat I can eat in safely and not really need to worry about anyone robbing it while I am there. I think that every time a person is in a business and it gets robbed while they are in there that has Gun Buster Sign up, that person needs to sue that business for failure to protect them or prevent them from protecting themselves while they were in their place of business and they suffered from PTSD after being put through the experience. ......................jmho

I have been seeing it more and more in BBS's like Academy and Walmart. I think the gougers realized that they are going to get stuck with a  bunch of ammo or going to take a bath on it to sell it but they deserve it after the way they have acted over last couple years..................jmho

The taller less graceful ones do seem to be stupid to a point but due to the fact that if they are not successful about catching fish they don't eat and while out bass fishing I have seen several hundred of them and they all seem to be able to catch a fish or two if you watch them long enough................. :up: :up:

  I would never open my door to let anyone use my cell phone cause they may break and run with it. I would be on one side of door and tell them I would place a call for them if they needed help but the door would remain between them and I and my gun that I wear or have in pocket around house. I live in Gallatin and it still has a low crime rate for a town so close to Nashville but I look for that to change in next couple of years and things get worse for our country. My friends that plan on coming by the house will always call. If I don't answer they leave a voice mail message to call them. If I don't call them right back they don't stop by. I have my front door open most all day but storm door is locked with handle lock and hook lock so you can't just open it. If someone has to knock on my door they already have 1 strike against them and it would not be a smart move to go for strike 2. I have a sign above the door with my house phone number on it with instructions to get back in your vehicle and call me or get back in your vehicle and leave but don't press your luck by pulling on my storm door cause that is strike 3 and we all know what happens when you strike out!!!! If a local bait customer/friend is going to send a future new customer to my house they call first and ask if it's ok and then they tell me what they are driving and their full names and I tell them when to stop by. Like I said in a previous post. Up until 2008 I never locked my doors even at night and I have lived here since 1998. I added a dead bolt to my front door yesterday...................... :up: :up:

The type of bird is a Heron and I am guessing it's a Green Heron because the Silver Herons and Grey Herons both are taller and colors are less brilliant. ..They sometimes use small items such as twigs or insects as bait and yea, they are the smarter bird of the Heron family.   Did a little research. Well, if you really give this any thought at all, the Separatists in the east do not have any military aircraft to use in the conflict so the Ukraine Military would have no reason to use any of their anti aircraft weapons which would eliminate them shooting the airliner down. So it now remains the fault of the Separatists who have shot down several aircraft using missiles supplied by Russia and trainers to teach them how to use them. So it is either Russia or the Separatists that shot it down and really could have been either considering how close it hit the ground so close to Russian border......................jmho

My dog lets me know if a rabbit comes in the yard at night much less a human. She hears everything and sleeps in dog house on front porch at night. Don't have a doggie door but when she is inside she makes sure to let me know she needs to go out. I did add a new dead bolt to my entrance door yesterday. Been here 14 + years and up until about 6 years ago I didn't even lock my doors at night or when leaving the house.....................Now I am adding locks. This lock installed yesterday has an insert that inserts all the way through the door jam to door frame 2X4 supports.

Anything that is dead and moldy and walking around gives me the heebie jeebies ................. :rock:

Manure... An interesting fact Manure : In the 16th and 17th centuries, everything had to be transported by ship and it was also before the invention of commercial fertilizers, so large shipments of manure were quite common. It was shipped dry, because in dry form it weighed a lot less than when wet, but once water (at sea) hit it, not only did it become heavier, but the process of fermentation began again, of which a by product is methane gas of course. As the stuff was stored below decks in bundles you can see what could (and did) happen. Methane began to build up below decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern, BOOM! Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was determined just what was happening After that, the bundles of manure were always stamped with the instruction ' Stow high in transit ' on them, which meant for the sailors to stow it high enough off the lower decks so that any water that came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the production of methane. Thus evolved the term ' S.H.I.T ', (Stow High In Transit) which has come down through the centuries and is in use to this very day. You probably did not know the true history of this word. Neither did I. I had always thought it was a golf term.

I don't see where we need to enter a war zone because Civilian Americans where killed because an Airline company decided to be stupid and put Americans and probably 15 other nationalities from other countries in harms way by flying through a war zone.  Let Russia handle it since it was one of their rockets used to shoot it down so they will be the ones explaining why they would give such weapons to such stupid people to begin with...............jmho 

Yep, We are not totally innocent of doing the same thing. We shot down an Civilian Iranian Airliner back years ago and they used the excuse they thought it was an Iranian Fighter Jet. Now I would think that our military and Russia's Military and most all major militarizes should by now be able to tell a Civilian aircraft from a military aircraft but evidently not yet for some. But with that said, you would think that Airline Companies should learn by now since this is about the 3rd or 4th time  this has happened that when a country is at war whether it be a civil war or a war between two countries wouldn't it make more sense to alter your routes to avoid the war zones and chancing being shot down????? ..............................jmho
