I guess I am one of those bad drivers.... I drive 10 MPH under interstate speeds but always in right lane. I don't think I have driven in left lane in years.I do often wonder when I am on Vietnam Veterans Blvd why everyone is in such a hurry to get where they are going. They remind me of a bunch of Working bees around a hive as they are flying by me. One day I was curious to see if I sped up I could stay up with traffic. To stay up with the left lane traffic flow I would have to average 78 MPH. No wonder I get so many ugly looks when I am doing my 55 in the 65 speed limit zone. But with that said there are signs that say "Slower traffic keep right" but I still get ugly looks. Sorry but I am just not in that kind of hurry these days. Now as far as Road Rage I have only had one occasion that could have resulted in a confrontation but the other driver decide to just get back in his car and leave quietly after I did. This took place on Hwy 109 and 70 hwy. Guy followed me from Gallatin to 70 Hwy and he never got an opening where he could pass because of traffic. When we reached the intersection of 109 and 70 at the light the guy was out of his car and coming towards mine. He was giving me a language lesson which I sat quietly and took and then threatened to pull me out of my Jeep. I was wondering if he was going to go there and he did. As he reached for my door I raised my Bersa Thunder 380 up to the Window ledge where he could get a good look at it but I never pointed it at him. It is very funny how fast a persons attitude can change and I never said 1 word the whole time. He very calmly removed his hand from the door handle of my Jeep and backed up and just stood there for a few seconds. wiped his brow with his hand and I know he wanted to apologize but I think he was actually afraid to say anything else. I push my window switch and put my door glass back up and drove off as he was still standing in the road. I didn't mind the language lesson but the threat made it a new ball game and him reaching for my door was not going to earn him a home run and I figured it was time to end the game before someone got hurt. i have no idea what the guy was thinking as I drove off but wish I could have read his mind for about 30 seconds. I bet they were interesting thoughts..............jmho

Sorry you didn't get any birds today KahrMan. I have not seen as any Birds this year as I normally do. I have sunflower plants out behind the buildings and normally I will have 15 or 20 birds hanging around out back but it's only been maybe 4 or 5 this year. With the hot weather coming late and having such a cool summer around here the birds may be late coming. Hope you do better next outing. I talked to a buddy of mine up in Streator, Illinois and he and his 2 sons and 1 daughter and 4 grand kids 2 of each all limited out in less than 4 hours of shooting. They are a hunting family and his brothers and sisters all we when we were growing up. He is a buddy I grew up hunting with and hunted with ever since we were big enough to hunt and my Parents moved me away. They were hunting the family farms which between the families they own 10,000 on 4 different farms and they all border each other. Each year each farm puts out a different crop for the hunters in the family and the hunting was always great regardless of which game you were after. The only drive they would have to make was the the Big Muddy to Duck and Goose hunt. This is the 4th year I have not made it up for Dove and Squirrel but I do get the invites every year just the same.

Kind of funny since the states of Louisiana, Utah and Alaska had some of the highest numbers but don't have any sort of gun registry for long or hand guns. I think it might be some thing designed to bait gun owners that have not purchased any type of weapons since the back ground checks began. They like to say that they don't keep any records of would has background checks ran each day in Tennessee and that they destroy all applications that were approved and only hold those that did not get approved for a possible appeal for the denial. I wonder if the Feds do the same thing??????? I have never believe that the state did it so I am sure the feds keep them on their records......................jmho

Moved Away from Tennessee, Already Missing it Dearly
bersaguy replied to Seabeejason's topic in General Chat
The only regret I have is I had the opportunity to moved up into the Mountains in East Tennessee about 10 years ago and it was a great offer and I didn't do it. Other than that I am still in Tennessee. I think if i would have known who was going to run and get elected in 2008 I wold have taken the offer...........   -
And gets my money each month which might be changing soon..............

It is not just Obama's fault but it is his watch and if it happens on his watch it's his baby. 9/11 was Bush's baby cause it happened on his watch and he dealt with it in Afghanistan. In all honesty the issue should have been handled on Clinton's watch. The Terrorists did the first real attack on American soil in world trade center on Clinton's watch and he had our Intelligence network give him Bin Ladens location on 3 different dates after the basement bombing of the World trade center and Clinton failed miserably all 3 times so really 9/11/2001 should be on Clinton's shoulders...............jmho

I have been in Tennessee since 1967 and have zero plans of ever leaving here and will be buried here..............jmho -
Well I enjoyed watching it also and my only issues with is was you had to keep hunting for it because Comcast would keep changing the times it would be on and kept moving it around. Also I am really getting sick and tired of these 3 show or 5 show programing and then they say watch for next season. Since when did seasons of programing become 5 weeks. It use to be a season was like 20 weeks of programs and the a new season of a new series would begin for 20 or more weeks. That is what is pissing me off. Comcast has become the professional rerun Cable Company in the world...............jmho

My Powder stays dry Dave and my weapons remain locked and loaded. As far as I'm concerned first car bomb set off on that border should be the last and the order to shoot to killed should be issued and that order should be for all forms of law enforcement, Military and even land owners on the border. It's time to give Washington DC a lesson on how you close a border and keep it closed.........jmho I look for it to possibly take place in about 12 days on the anniversary of 9/11...........jmho

Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested for child molestaion "allegedly"
bersaguy replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in General Chat
I knew a great man and a Professor of Psychiatry and Child Psychology for 40 years at Vanderbilt University and many times I had the pleasure of talking with him. I was the auto mechanic for his entire family consisting of his car, his wife's car, two daughters cars, son in laws cars and his only sons car. Yep, Big family which my son has the responsibility of the family cars now but during many talks with Dr Copple I learned many things about children and about how they think. Children are actually strange little people and most adults thoroughly underestimate the intelligence of children in great numbers. He stated that for the most part all children from about age 6 through age 16 are actually overly smart and 95% of adults don't know it. He said many children at age 8 have higher IQ's than most 4 year college graduates. He had proven it many times over his years of teaching and practicing medicine that children are born very smart and get less smart as they age. I know, it was hard for me to comprehend it to until I seen it happen first hand. He and several of his colleagues fought very hard against the Federal Government back in the late 70's and early 80s about a plan the Feds were preparing to release on the American people and all the doctors said was the Feds will reap what they sow with this plan. It went forth as planned and Dr Copple did live long enough to see the Feds admit he and his colleagues were correct. I will put what I learned from him plus what we learned by experience about the Federal Laws in another thread. Dr Copple called the law the Devils Advocate so that is what I will title it. When I have it complete I will post it. If the Mods feel it is to long or inappropriate please remove it after I post it.................JMHO -
Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested for child molestaion "allegedly"

A real man wouldn't do it dralarms. Right now My guess is Will Hayden is far less than a man in the eyes of his family and people that know him and you can bet all his LEO friends will be distancing themselves from him as I write this...........jmho -
Sorry to hear he is closing and I have been through Fairview many times back years ago and it always struck me as a town that never wanted to grow. I would drive through it and see a new business open and 3 months later drive through and see an empty building.................jmho

Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested for child molestaion "allegedly"
bersaguy replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in General Chat
He gets that back if found not guilty and released minus a 10% fee. The bonding company is only guarantying he will appear in court and if he fails to appear the bonding company has to pay the $400,000.00 Hayden only has to come up with 10 % of that to get bonded out which meant he gave the bonding company $40,000.00 cash. The Bonding company will get 10% of the $40,000.00 or $4,000.00. The Bonding company can only get $4,000.00 even if convicted also. They will have to give him back $36,000.00. I have a buddy that owns 3 Bonding Companies with one of there right here in Gallatin where I live. The only thing a Bonding Company does is say that you will appear in Court when you are told to and if you fail to appear normally the judge will extend the case 30 days to give the bonding company time to get the Bounty Hunters finding the Bond Jumper before making them paid the whole bond. -
How many people that 12 people on a jury would give a woman 4 million dollars for dumping hot coffee from McDonalds on her own lap when she knew it was hot and it was marked Contents are Hot on the lid. Don't count this guy out yet. There have been quite a few people have jury's give some pretty incredible money figures to over recent years for a lot less than this guy had done. I bet Metro winds up settling out of court if he does sue rather than look like the fools they really were with this case.......jmho

Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested for child molestaion "allegedly"
bersaguy replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in General Chat
Oh no, they did arrest him on the first warrant and he posted $150,000.00 and they released the supposed victim back into his custody. That is what confused me. Then for the Ex to go to a different Parrish and file yet another charge and added stuff to it makes it all suspicious plus he had to post another $250,000.00 bond on that charge. There was no good ole boy stuff. He was arrested twice. -
It was about 2AM and I was not in a good mood catching to guys in my garage stealing my high dollar fishing gear from my bass boat ........ ..........Was not in a mood to put up with a sorry butt dispatcher.............

Hey , I actually did that and it works. I didn't shoot the two guys but did tell dispatcher since I was going back to bed I was just going to shoot both of them in the back of the head and go back to bed. Heard sirens in about 30 seconds and dispatcher said it would be 20 to 30 minutes.

9-year-old girl accidentally kills instructor with Uzi
bersaguy replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
I think it can safely be noted that controlling an UZI by even some of the most qualified shooters is not an easy task. The gang members in many gangs like these guns for the fact that they can spray a large area with many bullets in drive by shootings because the gun is very well noted for it's ability to walk in many different directions just by pulling the trigger...........jmho -

I don't know why all the instructors just don't start all students age 12 and under out on Barrett M82A1 with about 5 magazines and be done with it. If they past the Barrett M82A1 Test they are good to go with anything smaller.........................jmho -
Will Hayden (Sons of Guns) arrested for child molestaion "allegedly"
bersaguy replied to Lumber_Jack's topic in General Chat
First you have to understand Louisiana and how they do things down there. If you understand the Cajun ways things are done you would know. To begin with one Parrish has zero clues what goes on in another. It;s like the Federal Government on a much smaller scale. Police and courts in one Parrish seldom if ever communicate with another Parrish. The EX wife knows that and that is why she went to another Parrish to seek and get another Warrant sworn out on Hayden. Had they communicated the first Parrish would have told the second Parrish what was going on and that they already had him out on bond for the charge and they probably would never had issued that second warrant. They would have just called Hayden up and told him to come back in about the second charge.......I know is sounds kinda strange but that's pretty much the way things work down there................jmho
