  1. maroonandwhite quote  "Granted I wouldn't want to be shot with any of them."    Very good conclusion my friend.   I have been shot 3 different times in my life and to be perfectly honest none of them was a walk in the park. The only reason I am still here is two times the snipers were  lousy shots and the last one out shot the range of his rifle. His mark was good but the bullet penetrated into my chest just enough to bruise my breast bone pretty bad on left side and crack a rib. Like I said, None of them were a walk in the park and last one pure luck and grace of GOD .................jmho
  2. Thanks and I guess time does fly because it seems now I do remember it being talked about on the New as long as 15 years ago about the gang problem growing in Antioch and being pushed out of the inner city and into the suburbs and that Antioch seemed to be one of their choices. I know it forced La Vergne and Smyrna to add officers to both their police forces and I think things down in the Boro have gone down hill a lot also as it is in the news a lot more in recent years........................... :stunned: :stunned:
  3. Early 80's and was gone in 83
  4. I carry a 380 Bersa or a 380 Body Guard and sometimes a 380 Llama and sometimes Bersa and BG or Llama and BG  but I also will carry a Bersa and a Phoenix 22lr in pocket. Just depends on mood when I am going out. For those folks that think a 22lr won't do the job, I hope you never get shot by one by someone that hits what they aim at with one..................jmho
  5. So that is what she looks like. I have heard a name a 1000 times but was never able to put a face with a name till now. Guess what? I'm still not impressed....................................... :ugh: :ugh:
  6. Yep, Recently Antioch has become Gangville. I lived there many years ago and it was a great place to live but last time I drove through it I could see that big change since I lived there and it was not a change for the better.................jmho

  8. That is one thing I have been looking for is a good processor. I don't hunt but I have guys offer to give me a deer or two every year and use to have several in my area but they have gone away. Where is Flowers and  C&F Meats located   KM?  I have had a couple guys already ask me if I want some deer this year but need a processor first..........................

That is what voice mail is for on phones. Just turn the damn thing off and go watch the movie. Get your messages after you leave the theater. Unless they have a metal detector or are paddling folks as they come in I will be breaking the law while watching the movie should I decide to go and not wait for it to come out and buy it on DVD...................jmho

I am looking forward to seeing the movie. I think Brad Pitt is a great actor and have enjoyed many of his movies. I think Hollywood tolerates him because he can still bust the box office at movie theaters. He is very Pro Gun and very out spoken when ask about it.   Here's a link to an interview with him.     http://www.therighttobear.com/when-it-comes-to-the-2nd-amendment-brad-pitt-is-not-your-average-hollywood-star/
  11. Well, lets see!!  Over penetration 1 round three holes , one entry, one exit , one wall entry. Two rounds  6 holes and so on and so forth. You get the idea, I'm sure......................................jmho
  12. Won't they ever get the message the Supreme Court Ruled on about this????????     http://www.therighttobear.com/minority-report-style-pre-crime-gun-confiscation-almost-a-reality-in-this-one-state/
  13. There was a lot of places back before about 2005 that stuff like this didn't go on GT. With the influx of illegal immigrants and the gangs getting bigger and expanding out into the smaller cities like Columbia. The Latino Gangs are gathering in such large numbers that they are actually forcing the African-American or Black(which ever you prefer) into the suburbs and other small cities. Take a look at the pictures and you can tell those are gang colors and out fits. Was it honestly cold enough for sweat shirt hoodies. I think not. And then we are back to a subject I brought up about a week or so ago. Several people saw a Black 4 door car. Either a Nissan Altima or Chevolet Impala and I also heard one report of Chevolet Malibu. In other words no one has a clue what it was, but it was black so that should narrow it down some..........................jmho
  14. That robbery was particularly evil and the killing of that young man was not necessary at all. He did everything they ask him to do and they just shot him for no reason which makes it just pure meanness. And they ask folks like us here why we think we need to be armed at all times. What would have happened to anyone that would have drove up at that time to get a pizza. They would probably been shot and killed also.......................jmho
  15. +1  on the prayers and +1000 on the Justice being swift and Painful  for the bad guys...................
  16. Yep!!!! 12 gauge with 00Buck at 5 yards or less and you have made a really large mess of everything for about 10 feet square feet.................
  17. Well, I have heard a few people talk about looking at the business end of a 22lr Cal pistol in the hands of a very nervous woman and they said that the barrel looked like a Dirty Harry 44 Mag and they were praying that help would arrive before things escalated to a point of a gun going off. So in all honesty I do have the utmost respect for a woman and her 22 caliber pistol and don't want to be shot by one for sure.....................jmho
  18. Gosh , sorry for not making a good choice for title and getting folks hopes up................   But I still think it was a happy ending. It didn't say what kind of gun she used but what ever it was it did the job needed and sent him running. I'm guessing probably a 22lr since he didn't go right down with 2 in the center of his chest or he was a big guy................jmho
  19. I have found that to be true in most big box and Brick and Mortar stores and not just gun stores. It seems that customer service has become a thing of the past along with manners and respect of children towards adults...........jmho
  20. You can bet since the Gray Durango made the new it is a great distance from here by now. Like maybe California ................jmho
  21. I think this works a lot better than those pieces of paper the courts issue!!!!     http://www.conservativesunited.com/ex-boyfriend-kicks-way-womans-home-gets-big-surprise/
  22. It's not that you look funny or anything. Your problem is your to nice. When I go to Academy or someplace similar I quit being nice when I clear the door on my way in. Once inside I am a customer and being a customer I will ask for help once and that person better not try and leave me until I am done shopping in their department. If they do they don't try to do it twice because my nice is not with me. I left it at the door when I walked in. I don't mind getting rude to get my point across in a store if they want my money. Quit being so nice and quit being a "Shadow"......  When you walk into a business your not there to serve them. Your there for them to serve you and share your hard earned money with them. Make them earn it.....................jmho
  23. Do you or did you get the name of the place that rescued Colt Glow? Since they seem to be on the up and up and did right by you and your best friend I think it might be nice of us if we sent a small donation in Colts name, even if just a few bucks each to help afford food for the big horse and camel and other critters and let them know how much TGO members appreciate their efforts at what they do and how they treated you. If it's privately owned that would mean they get no grants or help other than donations. What do ya'll think. Glow do you think it's a good idea and are the people deserving of it? You were the one that met these folks. I would send a few bucks if you think they are deserving of it..................jmho
  24. I would prefer it read that they had been Washed and Sanitized for my protection................jmho
  25. I would think the most important things in a survival vehicle would be a full tank of fuel, At least 3 firearms with plenty of ammo for all three, food and water and a secured destination in which to go and plans on remaining there for a long period of time so location must be well supplied and stocked with necessities. Last but not least a form of communication and a source of keeping up with outside world. AM/FM radio and maybe CB radio...................jmho       P.S.  Make sure if you have a best friend (Canine) that you bring them along.
