Well, Since I am at the mercy of my friends when it comes to deer meat these days since my health went south, I let nothing go to waste. I don't get as many deer as I use to but have plenty of freezer space. I had a deer in my freezer that I had picked up from processor that a buddy put in with my name on it when we had a power failure about a month later and it was still warm because this deer was taken with a bow.  We were down about 23 hours and I never opened the freezer which is stored in an out building during that time. I have ten 1 gallon milk jugs of water frozen in the bottom of the freezer and all of my meat is stored on top of  the blocks of ice. I never lost one package of deer meat and all of it was still almost frozen rock solid when the power came back on. I also had some fish frozen in water bags in the freezer and the fish were still frozen solid. It is also one of the old freezers that does not self defrost which I think helps keep meats longer.    Now with that said, any of you guys that find yourself with an extra deer and you live in the area I will be more than glad to take it off your hands and pay the processing. I live in Gallatin and Poindexters Bait and Tackle has large coolers and is a TWRA check in station and if you take it there to check it in and want to let me have it you can put it in the cooler in my name and phone number and Buddy Poindexter will call me and let me know it's there. I will pick it up and take it to processors. Any deer will be greatly appreciated...........Thanks

I know exactly how you feel TMF but it is only a dream because it will never happen. Hell, even when the police do their job and of defend them selves while under attack and fear of their own lives they cry "Foul" and say what a good boy he was. Good boys don't steal things from stores and threaten the store owners.    Good boys don't try and beat up police officers and try and take their weapons and when told to stop by police officers good boys stop and bad boys don't. The punk that took this young mans life had zero respect for this young man or the pain he would cause a family and friends.   I can promise you, if say you TMF or I walked in on that we would have had to defend ourselves and had either one of us taken the punk down all we would be hearing today is how good a boy he was and he was a victim and didn't need killing.   All I can say is I am very glad that FAT SOB is off the streets and I hope they find his partner in crime because he will receive the same sentence as the shooter...................jmho

In any Meatloaf whether you use beef or Deer you need to add some Oats or Cracker Crumbs and a couple eggs mixed with the meat. Mead it all together really well along with a can of tomato sauce and add chopped onions and bell pepper if desired. Make it into a loaf and bake about 50 minutes in preheated over @ 375 degrees.   Yea I do cook a lot................ :ugh: Mother had 5 sons and no daughters so she taught all 5 sons how to cook about anything and wash dishes.

Well I think the original report said all the guns taken were Glocks and its turned out most were Colts. It may have been a gang from Memphis or something spooked them and they panicked and ran before they were done. Maybe look outs on cell phones made a call........................jmho

BTW, left is calling for gun control measures. Stated anyone who has a gun around children should be charged for child abuse and thrown in jail.................Well if that be the case this guy should be put in prison for sure because he not only had a gun around kids but he shot at them. Last house my Grandson moved into was a smokers house and he asked me what he could use to clean the walls and get the smoke color off of them. I told him the same thing I have used for years. It is a product call Spic-n-Span and I have used it to wash walls in a lot of homes in my life and it has never let me down yet. That and some hot water and a big sponge or 2 will normally get the job done. Oh yea that and a little elbow grease that is....................jmho

According to that list someone is going to be buying a lot of 45 cal ammo or have a lot of 1911's for sale. My guess is all of the stuff went back to Memphis since that is where the truck was stolen from. I'm guess that's where the crooks where from and probably been up here scouting out different gun stores to hit. I bet this is not the last one up here targeted..............jmho

Just heard that another guy jumped the fence at White House. This time the SS released 2 attack dogs and the dogs brought him down. They had to take him to hospital for injuries. They also had both dogs checked out before returning them to duty. SS may not shoot them but the SS dogs will bite them many times and maybe even eat them depending on how long it takes the handlers to get to them................ :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I use to work for Department of Correction in Illinois at Joliet Prison and transferred to Corrections in Tennessee after two years in Illinois and was assigned to I.A. when I transferred.  I stay just one year before going into mechanics which was my first love but I hope he gets general population and life with out the possibility of parole and shipped up to Brushy Mountain Prison where most of the lifers are housed.............jmho

The life of a hard working you man that has never been in trouble it not important.  a Black Youth with a juvenile record and 20 minutes away from a strong armed robbery he just committed attacks a police officer and is shot and killed and the entire country is suppose to be up in arms protesting. My #1 thing on my bucket list is............... Live Long Enough to Complete Everything on List.   I have tried to make my list reasonable so I might have a chance to finish it. As for picture on lower section of Peejmans list. One of my grandsons is getting an average of 50 to 60 hours a week now and has been for about a month. He asked one of his supervisors if they knew how long the overtime was gonna last and all the guy could say was he had no idea. My grandson called me gripping and bitching about all the overtime and how he had no time on weekends to do anything but rest up on Sunday for the next week. I told him, " Do you remember 4 years ago when you were working for all those Temp Services and barely scraping by and worried all the time about being able to pay your bills. I do because it was me loaning you a few bucks here and there to get you through the week. I finally had a friend of mine get you that job you have now and you have gotten three raises, a newer car, checking account and savings account and your own place by listening to ole Grandpaw. Now listen one more time to him. Shut up, quit your bitching and enjoy all the overtime you can get because over time was always a blessing to me and you will have plenty of time to spend the money when the overtime ends." Calling a Game warden and having them come out and show them what they did is a good idea. The Game Warden might put trail cams up in hopes of catching the bad guys at their game. They could face a list of criminal offenses and a Game Warden would love to get credit for a bust like that. Figure you could lose your life with a stunt like that so attempted murder could even be a charge. I promise you I would not let this ride if it were me and neither would any of my sons or grandsons that hunt their own land and have ladder stands up..............jmho

EXACTLY RIGHT!!!! They were out to hurt you for sure. I don't know if I would bother with cameras unless I was going to put bolts back in with locktite threads on taps so they would either have to have tools to take the bolts or take the stand. You might have a good chance of catching them then. Just be careful what ever you do.

Yep , I agree with everyone here about where our country has gone. It was about 5 years without going to Nashville until I had to go to Fairgrounds and meet Sam and pick up my 22lrs and I won't be going back again if I have to get off the interstate and just not drive through it. They have completely destroyed Down town Nashville............ :down:  I won't be going back. I have heard people say that it is very easy to drive down the wrong street down there now and find yourself on a dead end street that use to be a through street and the gangs are operating on most of the dead ends. I had to go to Extreme North Nashville near Metro Center and only get off the interstate for 2 blocks and I had two buddies go with me and if we would have got stopped by the police we would probably still be explaining why we had all the artillery and ammo in the Cadillac Escalaide  my buddy owns. We could have started a small war. We were in an out in 20 minutes and back on interstate coming back home. I have said I never wanted to move from here where I live but if Gallatin keeps growing and our crime rate begins to grown I will be moving east about 75 miles to Alexandria Tennessee. Get back out in the country next door to my Daughter and Son in Law. They have a father in law house ready and waiting for me....................... :up: :up:
