I have a close friend on TWRA and there were times I would see things going on while I would be fishing Old Hickory Lake and I had his cell phone number. When I called he never failed to show up and in most cases made an arrest of the bad guys. Drunk boating, reckless and dangerous boating, Duck hunting  from a moving boat and other such things. He got promoted and just rides around now in his truck or rides a desk so we still talk , just not as often............. :up:

In all Reality I didn't think the movie would ever make the opening. It was very controversial since the promo's were released. Since I am not that much into comedies it is no loss as far as my going to watch it but I still think it sucks that we continue to knuckled under to the threats of just about every foreign nation on Earth. I often wonder where the United States of American went that I grew up in.....................jmho

I don't know if any of ya'll here have ever watched North Woods Law but it is a program on Animal Planet about the Game Wardens of the state of Maine. I was channel surfing one day and found it was just coming on and I watched it.   Now I do realize that is a reality type program per-say but I also know a few folks that live up in Maine and I called one of them and we talked about an hour and he also watches the show and has also met and had all positive dealings with several of the Wardens on the program.   He said about 95% of what you see on the program is in all reality exactly how the Warden Service performs in real life and operates every day. He said they are the actual police in the woods and also on highways and in towns. If they have someone driving recklessly on the highways they are authorized to stop and detain them, do sobriety tests and arrest them if they are impaired. The can legally search vehicles for anything from alcohol to drugs weapons and illegal game. If the TWRA was even 1/2 as active in doing their jobs as these men and women in Maine are they might deserve a raise.   I asked my friend who's name is Allen in Maine if the North Wood Law was any different before becoming a TV show and he said the truth is they were somewhat tougher before and there has been a few cases of stops and arrests that did have to be edited out during programing because they felt  they may not be suitable such as when they encountered a poacher of big game and he shot at them and they returned fire and killed the poacher. They also bust Mary Jane growers when they find fields during routine woods patrols.    For those interested in seeing how a good Game Warden Service it is worth the watch........jmho

Believe me when I tell you the "TWRA DOES NOT" cater to bass tournaments. In fact they hate them and have made that clear many many times. I know because I have operated tournament trails in the past here in Tennessee and they hate it when someone like BASS or FLW comes to town. They don't take into consideration that about 250+ bass anglers will be buying out of state fishing licenses every time they come. About 4 million dollars will be earned by the host county like Hendersonville or Gallatin and Sumner County Tourism. This license increase may send them to other states and lakes to spend their money that appreciate them coming there.  I do agree 100% that it will punish young people fresh out of school and it will also punish Seniors that have to buy trout stamps and big game stamps if they hunt and trout fish but as I said they hate Bass Tournaments..........jmho

Well, I have considered booting Comcast cable but I would go nuts. I have become addicted to the History channel, Discovery channel, Animal Planet, and a few others and the only way I can get those is by cable. I have been talking with Comcast and they said they had a cheaper plan than I was on that had all of these so I have them switch me to that package. My bill went from $72.00 to $100.98. I guess they thought I was to stupid to know what they had done. Well I went up to the local office and a clerk and I had a big discussion and he was nice enough to show me a package that actually had 95% of what I wanted but did have all the channels I really wanted and it was $45.95 + $9.95 for a second box for my bedroom TV.so after box and taxes my bill is $61.07. I am fine with that. If you don't stay on top of them they will surely screw you at every opportunity..................jmho

Yes, I read the article and yes I saw where they said they didn't have any tranquilizers. My point is they knew they were going after a Cougar and should have had the darts and Tranquilizers in route the location at the same time. They could have sent for some and a dart gun while the cat was in the tree and should the cat make any attempts to try and escape then put it down. I just feel that the decision to put the cat down was made to quickly, possibly even before arriving without putting much if any effort forward to save and protect such a beautiful animal that is suppose to be instinct east of Ole man river (Mississippi). They said they were afraid it might escape but they didn't know that. I'm sorry if you disagree. Yes this is probably only my opinion but it is how I feel............jmho

I guess they never considered darting the cat and taking it to a local zoo for containment until they could find a suitable place to ship the cat to......................jmho

Ya'll need to remember that if any of you are nearing 65 even with the increase you can get a Senior License and never have to buy another unless your going after big game. Small game and fishing is for life. I am glad I got mine for $11.00 so won't have to buy another. Not all I need to do is make it through January and be fixed up  so I can feel more like fishing I have only been fishing twice since I got the license but have not felt like it either. Maybe January will  help that.................. :up:  :up: 

  That won't have no influence with the Pakistan Government. What needs to happen is America needs to quit sending them millions and millions of dollars every few months until they take steps necessary to make a stand against the terrorists. I never ordered from those places except Papa Jon that one time and Pizza was junk that time. In all honesty Pizza is not in the top 20 things I enjoy eating. Pizza was when I was just to lazy to cook or grill out. I did love Chinese and had this really great restaurant here locally that delivered. Had to take that number off speed dial too so now I am :surrender: :surrender: so my daughter will quit :stick:  me!!!

Yep , doctors and Nurses are not really fond of me as a patient either and really glad when I get released and gone......... :ugh: :ugh:

My daughter told me if she caught me eating a Pizza she would take one of my guns and shot me herself so I am remaining very far away from them and took Pizza Huts number out of speed dial on phone............... :up: :up: :up:

I thought I posted to this earlier. Like I said earlier. By all rights sue the company that made the gun. That works about as well as the magic Bullet in the Kennedy assassination. That bad gun walked into the school by itself, it shot a lot of people, Then it shot itself and committed suicide. If the blood suckers want to sue someone sue Adam Lanza and his mother for buying the gun knowing her son was unstable. Oh yea, that's right, he killed her before going to the school and doing what they say he did??? I still have my doubts about the entire thing. Problem is how do you get an entire town to play what would be the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time involved just to prove a point about guns................................. :shrug: :shrug:

As far as the diabetes. I have talked with my doctor about it and I am on an entirely new diet with zero added sugar on anything or added in products I buy at store. She also told me that I would be on pills and insulin until we got it under control. I ask her what range we are looking for.   She said 100 would be nice but she said that cannot be reached at your age. It was 390 when I was admitted to the ER. They got it in the 100 to 150 range in 4 days while there. My doctor said anything under 150 would be acceptable but lower would be nice. I have been keeping a chart every time I test myself and that is before each meal , Breakfast, lunch and supper. It has been over 150 one time and that was the first test it was 161. Since then it has been averaging in the 130's and once down to 102. Right now I now it's my body going through withdrawals from lack of Sugar and Salt and I think as long as I stay after it I can stabilize it.    I am more concern now on the tests by the urologist which plans on putting a camera inside me to check my Kidneys and bladder for any cancer that may have caused the UTI. If he gives an all clear, then the Cardiac Vascular Surgeon gets her turn. The two doctors have been talking because the surgeon is concerned about sending a camera inside my body with an aneurism as large as I have.   I go see the surgeon this Thursday. I hope I don't burst her bubble but neither she of the urologist is putting my case on the January roster and I refuse to be in any hospital over the holidays. They can either deal with it or I can find new doctors. That ball is in my court.   Same way with Urologist. He schedule an appointment with me for the 23rd of this month. Like he thinks I am going to let him run this test after a 5 minute exam in the hospital. Sorry Charlie but we are going to get in depth on this test and it will be in January also.   Did I ever mention I am not a very good patient when it comes to doctors. They like me about as much as a toothache.......... :up:

Ok. to answer  OS's question first. It is a long time thing that ended up being implanted in my abdomen when that runaway truck smashed me between it and a brick wall at about 30 mph with no driver in the truck back in 1978. I spent 8 months in St.Thomas hospital and died twice during emergency to try and stop my bleeding out through a ruptured spleen. after that my Abdomen keep busting open creating Ventral hernias and requiring surgery to repair till 1990 when they went in to repair the 7th time.   They found that there was not enough inside body wall to close me back up and they built my inner wall of mesh. I have been very protective of it and this doctor looking at operating said she has no intentions of cutting through such a perfect repair and endanger my life when there are other options that work well.

I am having a real issue with my wordpad  and notebook. I have clicked and searched every way possible to get it to just copy just the original subject typed and save to my documents without all these junk symbols and word par added. I am posting a copy of what I get every time I try to save a message to my documents. Any help will be greatly appreciated. If you know how to fix this for me please send me a pm here. It is no surprise is it, Really??? Anytime one of the blood suckers sees a chance to make a million dollars why not grab the gold ring. Use the suffering of families and by all means blame to gun. It went in that school all by itself and killed all of those people and even committed suicide. I think a gun like that should be sued, Only because the real guilty parties Lanza and his mother are both dead so you cannot sue them. Gotta blame something so next best thing is the gun maker of course......................jmho

Be Careful!!!!!!!!! In more ways than one. Be careful when you ride and be extra careful what you buy. I would not buy one used from any one that has children or had children at home because most all adults do take care of their machines and most children push them far beyond what their capabilities are.......................jmho
