  1. Ok, after I finally got to see the video it didn't show what the guy did to have police cuffs on in the first place so hard to make a judgement call on the rest of it. I will say this. Since Obama got elected in 2008 to present day and with Eric Holder as Attorney General I have seen more and more of things such as this. I can only guess that by elected our first African American President is has embolden more and more of this type of behavior and made our streets much more dangerous for everyone. Black, white, tan. yellow or red makes no difference. Look at Chicago. It is a Slaughter House with Blacks killing Blacks and Obama nor Eric Holder has made any attempt what so ever to try and help fix the situation. My guess is Obama will not be returning to Chicago when he leaves office. Evidently he was not a very good Community Organizer if you look at what happens every day there. As far as Police, since his election their jobs have gotten a 100 + times harder so I compliment all of them for putting their lives on the line everyday to try and keep law biding citizens safe...................jmho
  2. yep!  I wanted to compare several different brands before i purchased my main stock of it back years ago for my 380's. I tried Wolf, PMC, Remington, Monarch and a couple others and you can see and feel a definite difference when you pull the trigger with Fiocchi. That is why I settled on it when I ordered my stock 5+ years back...............jmho
  3. A man walks into a restaurant with a full-grown ostrich behind him. The waitress asks them for their orders. The man says, "A hamburger, fries and a coke," and turns to the ostrich, "What's yours?" "I'll have the same," says the ostrich. A short time later the waitress returns with the order. "That will be $9.40 please." The man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change for payment. The next day, the man and the ostrich come again and the man says, "A hamburger, fries and a coke." The ostrich says, "I'll have the same." Again the man reaches into his pocket and pays with exact change. This becomes routine until the two enter again. "The usual?" Asks the waitress. "No, this is Friday night, so I will have a steak, baked potato and a salad," says the man. "Same," says the ostrich. Shortly the waitress brings the order and says, "That will be $32.62." Once again the man pulls the exact change out of his pocket and places it on the table. The waitress cannot hold back her curiosity any longer. "Excuse me, Sir. How do you manage to always come up with the exact change in your pocket every time?" "Well," says the man, "several years ago I was cleaning the attic and found an old lamp. When I rubbed it, a Genie appeared and offered me two wishes. My first wish was that if I ever had to pay for anything, I would just put my hand in my pocket and the right amount of money would always be there." "That's brilliant!" says the waitress. "Most people would ask for a Million Dollars or something, but you'll always be as rich as you want for as long as you live!" "That's right. Whether it's a gallon of milk or a Rolls Royce, the exact money is always there," says the man. The waitress asks, "What's with the ostrich?" The man sighs, pauses and answers, "My second wish was for a tall chick with a big butt and long legs who agrees with everything I say.."
  4.  Bob, a handsome dude, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 PM. He sat down next to a              blonde at the bar and stared up at the TV. The 10:00 PM news was coming on.The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.                           The blonde looked at Bob and said, 'Do you think he'll jump?'                           Bob says, 'You know, I bet he'll jump.'                           The blonde replied, 'Well, I bet he won't.'                           Bob placed a $20 bill on the bar and said, 'You're on!'                           Just as the blonde placed her money on the bar, the guy on the ledge did a swan dive off the building, falling to his death.                           The blonde was very upset, but willingly handed her $20 to Bob, saying, 'Fair's fair. Here's your money.'                           Bob replied, 'I can't take your money, I saw this earlier on the 5 PM news and so I knew he would jump.'                           The blond replied, 'I did too; but I didn't think he'd do it again.'                           Bob took the money...
  5. Yea HP, I also bought mine from Ammoman and bought it by the case but it was about 5+ years ago. I did not have any issues with mine and shot about 100 rounds of it through my 2 Bersa's and my Llama with zero issues. My buddy bought the new ammo and that was what he had issues with. I really like the Fiocchi ammo. Seems to be a little hotter than some of the other brands.........jmho
  6. Looks like a combination of Corvette, Ferrari and Lamborghini all wrapped up in one car..............jmho   I think their are many older fellas going through a second childhood these days. I have a buddy  that is 70 years old that went and bought a 2013 Camaro Z28 and I ask him why he bought it and his reply was," I always wanted to own one and now I do."  I went by his place about 3 months ago and his Camaro has 230 miles on it. He said he got scared to drive it because it was to fast for him to control. I think he is considering selling it now.
  7. 9MM and 380 Caliber. I gave him a box of my Fiocchi 380 to try and he went through all 50 rounds with no issues. I bought 800 rounds back about 2 years before the ammo shortage when I found them on sale. I think it may be an issue that has come about with ammo shortages and companies trying to keep up with supply and demand. They maybe having quality control issues due to  trying to full orders..........jmho
  8. Has anyone been experiencing any problems with the newer Fiocchi ammo? A buddy of mine that shoots a lot more than I do has been experiencing about 5 FT fires and has has about 10 squib rounds and had to stop and push the bullet out of the barrel. He said he was glad he was not doing speed shooting or he would have damaged his gun and possibly himself. He said he is going to contact Fiocchi about this because it was not contained to just one box of their ammo. He bought 2 new boxes to go to the range and each box had issues.......................... :ugh: :ugh:
  9. Nine Important Facts to Remember as You Grow Older: Number 9  -  Death is the number 1 killer in the world. Number 8  -  Life is sexually transmitted. Number 7  -  Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die. Number 6  -  Men have two emotions: hungry and horny, and they can't tell them apart.   If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich, you have a 50% chance of being right... Number 5  -  Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day.  Teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years.   Number 4  -  Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing. Number 3  -  All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism. Number 2  -  In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal. Number 1  -  Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers.  What you do today might burn your butt tomorrow.           ...
  10. Ok, first off thank all of you for your thoughts on this issue. Yesterday the Vascular Surgeon that was scheduled to do the Aneurism called my daughter  and requested she bring me to her office on Thursday for a consultation about what took place on Monday and about still doing the Aneurism repair. She said she has seen the results of all the test and even of the results of the ecocardiogram  that was completed that her Cardiologist chose to walk out on. i have agreed to go and hear what she has to say but not sure I will agree to her doing the Aneurism after what I have been through so far by that medical group. I do have other options available to me. I have checked with my insurance programs and they will pay for up to 3 opinions from 3 different medical groups because my health is what is priority.    As far as posting to doctor and Hospital on line. Right now I don't feel it would be proper. If anyone does really want to know who they are send me a PM and I will gladly tell you.
  11. Well, I went through about 18 hours of pure to get zero accomplished progress in repairing of fixing anything. Went through the Arterial gram to fix heart and the surgeon walked out of it 6 minutes into the test without saying anything to the staff running the test.   They completed test and where suppose to give me a sedative to lay flat on my back on a board and not move for next 4.5 hours. They failed to give me the sedative and within 30 minutes I was in intense pain in my back because of back problems. About 2 hours later the heart surgeon came to the room and took daughter and son-in-law to the hall and spoke with them for about 20 minutes about my case but never came in to face me.   He said that the test shown several partially blocked arteries which on Friday he said he would fix during the test on Monday. He didn't fix anything and said he was more concerned about my aneurism than my heart at this point and told my daughter to set up an appointment with a doctor to repair the aneurism first and he would repair the heart later.   Then just before leaving he said there is about a 90% chance I will suffer a mild heart attack during the aneurism surgery. I had to get all of this 2nd hand for daughter and son in law because the sorry SOB surgeon would not come in and face me.     They didn't know he walked out of the test in 6 minutes of a 20 minute after it began and all of the test staff were asking each other where the doctor was an one guy said he left about 10 minutes ago without saying a word or doing anything. Now with that said, the reason I was sent to the Cardiologist was to make sure my heart was strong enough to have the Aneurism repaired. So now I am not even sure that I can have the aneurism repaired because if there is a 90% chance I would have a heart attack during it.     I'm almost sure the Vascular Surgeon will not do it. The Cardiologist surgeon has lied to me about 10 times now on what he plans to do and what he does. So 18 hours spent going through pain and Hell and got not one damn thing fixed. Doctor did tell my daughter I was walking around with two time bombs ticking inside me and it was only a matter of time before one the them popped. Sent me home with no medications of any kind at 8:30 last night.
  12. I would like to thank all of the great folks here for their kind words and for the many prayers being sent for me. This has made my day for sure. It has helped give me a better outlook on my future for sure. This site has got to be with out a doubt the best bunch of folks on the face of the earth, bar none!!!! I do plan on going into what is coming with all of the positive intentions I can muster. At this time I have no idea how long my hospital stay but I will try and keep everyone informed when I can. Again, thanks to all of you for your great support.   Doug        aka  Bersaguy
  13. Well I guess I have found it is time to do what I probably should have done back a few weeks ago. That is let folks here know about health issues I found I have. I went to ER back about 12 days before Christmas for a UTI (urinary tract infection) during the tests I found out that I also have type 2 Diabetes.   I also learned I have an Aneurism 8 centimeters in size in my abdomen that requires surgery.   Before the surgeon would operate she wanted me to consult with a cardiac doctor to see if my heart would survive the surgery. Went in on Thursday for stress tests and a battery of other tests. Not good news. The doctor said I have a couple blockages in my heart according to the tests.    Monday I go in for an arterialgram and the doctor said that if he can locate the blockages that he will more than likely install stints at that time to correct the problem. If the heart fix works I am still facing the Aneurism surgery as soon as I recover from the heart issue if it is successful.      So that is where my life is right now. Everything in my life has done a 180 in the last month. I have addressed the diabetes and now have it under control but right now. that   The UTI is gone are to date the only positives to come out of this.      I don't usually ask for much but if any of ya'll could, a prayer or two would really be appreciated. I have been a bit overwhelmed with all that has happened in my life and being able to spend time here since this happened has been great therapy for me. I could not think of a better place to be right now than here with friends
  14. Ok, I was in waiting room at Doctors office yesterday and i over heard a couple guys talking about Obama is working on trying to have ammo made so that is will self corrode while sitting on the self in 2 years or less. Has anyone heard anything else about this or do you think it can be done? They seemed pretty sure by the way they were talking that is what he is trying to do. They said since he knows he can't get the guns he will get the ammo...............Just wondering if any once else has heard anything about it?............................. :ugh: :ugh: :squint:
  15. Can anyone tell me when Joe Biden has said anything that was not stupid and he ended up putting his foot in his mouth?...........jmho
  16. Isn't that what has happened here in every mass shooting? They have most all taken place in GUN FREE ZONES. The shooters have a very good chance of success when they enter the GUN FREE ZONES to carry out the shootings and carnage. They try to say that in every case that the shooters are mentally disturbed. They are correct to a point. They have mental issues to ever think of doing something like that (except for terrorists). They are mentally unstable but not stupid. They can plan their actions just like any sane person and carry out their plan with precise actions using the GUN BUSTER signs to their advantage. That is why I won't go to anyplace my gun cannot go and if I do carry past the sign I have to have very good reason to do so.................jmho
  17. Also take into consideration in many cases Alaska is one of the states that many bad guys run to and hide after committing a violet crime in the lower 48. It is easy to hide up there with all the wilderness.................jmho
  18. Peejman, I would not have really called that a punch as much as I would have called it a reaction to an action that was totally uncalled for by the person that received the punch in the face. When a woman does something like that a man is going to react before he can think..............jmho        I don't believe in a man hitting a woman out of rage or anger, drunk, sober, on dope or any other reason but a flash reaction to a sudden pain like you received would be totally understandable...........jmho   Edit ... and I'll admit to having hit a girl in anger once. She sucker kicked me in the balls for no reason and I punched her square in the mouth before I collapsed. It busted her lip and nose but thankfully didn't knock out any teeth.
  19. Man I sure would not want to be a judge in this dog show. I would give all of them Blue Ribbons.................
  20. I guess a dog may not be the answer in every case but I still have faith that having a dog in the house is always an advantage. I can promise you  this if a truck or a car gets anywhere close to my house day or night Kasey lets me know it long before they could ever be kicking my door in....................jmho   I will never figure out why that one person did not put him to death and made 11 other people change their minds and guess I never will. He may have avoided the gallows but when it comes time to meet his maker I would bet he will pay his dues.............again.....jmho
  21. And then everyone wonders where Domestic Violence comes from as they get older?  Once it starts it seldom stops as they grow older................jmho
  22. I don't have alarm system but my house only has half size sliding windows and two doors. The sliding windows all have wood blocks in the tracks preventing anyone from forcing one to slide. My doors have a door handle lock and twin long slide dead bolts on both doors. You may kick it in but your going to work your butt off doing it. Plus I am never more than 5 feet from a gun anywhere in my house including bathroom. Is my house really secure? Of course not. It is secure enough that I will have enough time to react and be somewhat prepared to confront an intruder YES!! but 100% secure NO!!!
  23. That is why most people have a house dog. Best alert you can have is a dog with great hearing. Kasey was sleeping under my bed about 4 nights ago and all at once began growling and then went into full barking mode and came out from under the bed. My outside lights popped on and all it was in a neighborhood kid cutting through yards to get home after running out of gas. Kasey could hear him just walking through the yard long before he tripped the lights. I was able to have gun in hand and in living room ready for someone to try and kick my door in. When the lights came on I think it scared the kid so much he probably may have peed his pants and my opening up the door with a gun in my hand didn't help any his feelings any. He apologized for disturbing me. He lived 4 doors away and I know him well. My neighbor was also awakened by his house dogs to the kid walking through the yard and he was also up and gun in hand. I have some great security lights and when they come on you can play foot ball at night in the areas they light up.............
  24.   It would surely be a deterrent to his one or two buddies waiting to come in behind him when the Boom happens..........jmho
  25.   Walmart parking lots were full back when Sam Walton was running them and they had primarily almost 95% American made Products also. People shopped at Walmart long before they went to China and long before they sold groceries and I honestly believe Walmarts parking lots would be full if they offered more American made products. I quit going to Walmart except in emergencies when I cannot find something any place else. They are my very last choice to shop at for about anything. In all honesty I think Americans are getting tired of buying low quality products if they could buy better grade American made products..............jmho
