Well I'm going to try and give the guy the benefit of the doubt a little but just a little. Of course I don't have children in school but I will admit I have walked into a few Government places while armed and concealed but because I am so use to wearing a firearm it's like wearing a ball cap or sunglasses on a sunny day. You put them on but don't think them any more about it until you need them. Now if he walked in the school looking like Matt Dillon with it hanging out or wearing a large gun that prints to much, he deserves what ever he gets because it's a lot harder to forget when you have it open carry or large frame gun that prints well I believe...............................jmho

Sounds like she needs a bigger caliber gun. To hit a bad guy that many times and not kill him, the guy was very very lucky..........jmho

I think in the long run you will be glad you had it done. When neighborhood females come in heat he will stay home. His personality will depend more on you and your lady as to how his personality changes. If he is shown love and attention he will be loving and attentive back. Weight gain will also depend on how much you do to keep him active and watch his diet. The more treats he gets and the less activity he is allowed to do will also effect that..............jmho

I have always loved this and think it might fit here: Dogs In Heaven? An old man and his dog were walking down this dirt road with fences on both sides, they came to a gate in the fence and looked in, it was nice grassy, woody areas, just what a 'huntin' dog and man would like, but, it had a sign saying 'no trespassing' so they walked on. They came to a beautiful gate with a person in white robes standing there. "Welcome to Heaven" he said. The old man was happy and started in with his dog following him. The gatekeeper stopped him. "Dogs aren't allowed, I'm sorry but he can't come with you." "What kind of Heaven won't allow dogs? If he can't come in, then I will stay out with him. He's been my faithful companion all his life, I can't desert him now." "Suit yourself, but I have to warn you, the Devil's on this road and he'll try to sweet talk you into his area, he'll promise you anything, but the dog can't go there either. If you won't leave the dog, you'll spend Eternity on this road." So the old man and dog went on. They came to a rundown fence with a gap in it, no gate, just a hole. Another old man was inside. "S'cuse me Sir, my dog and I are getting mighty tired, mind if we come in and sit in the shade for awhile?" "Of course, there's some cold water under that tree over there. Make yourselves comfortable" "You're sure my dog can come in? The man down the road said dogs weren't allowed anywhere." "Would you come in if you had to leave the dog?" "No sir, that's why I didn't go to Heaven, he said the dog couldn't come in. We'll be spending Eternity on this road, and a glass of cold water and some shade would be mighty fine right about now. But, I won't come in if my buddy here can't come too, and that's final." The man smiled a big smile and said "Welcome to Heaven." "You mean this is Heaven? Dogs ARE allowed? How come that fellow down the road said they weren't?" "That was the Devil and he gets all the people who are willing to give up a life long companion for a comfortable place to stay. They soon find out their mistake, but then it's too late. The dogs come here, the fickle people stay there. GOD wouldn't allow dogs to be banned from Heaven. After all, HE created them to be man's companions in life, why would he separate them in death?"

Very sorry to hear about your friend. Sure am glad you and him were able to get put together. I'm sure his life was filled with your love and you were love by him. He is now in Dog Heaven and young and playing again like a puppy............

Get a mutt, They seem to make the best all around pets and seems they require less Vet visits. Something with some type of hound mix I have found to be the best..........jmho

I sincerely do hope one thing he said in the interview is true. He said there are 320 million people in America and 300 million of them own guns. I sincerely hope that 300 million number is correct because that tells the entire world we can and will defend our country and are armed enough to do so. We are not an England or a France. We are America and we do have guns. We will not go quietly into the night helpless and defenseless but will fight like HELL to protect our families and country.................jmho

Prayers being sent for you and your dad and your family. Is there someone in you family that can tell you if he has been baptized? Learning that he was could give you some satisfaction knowing he does have some type of religious beliefs. Just a thought.

To date I don't think anyone is making safe chicken jerky in any American plants I have found. Some are packaged here but they don't say where it is are made. If I were you I would try the Jacks Turkey on her and see if she will eat it. Small investment to be safe and if she does not like it remember humans can eat is also so maybe family will eat it if she won't............jmho

I was just wondering the other day what his opinion was on guns since a lot of Hollywood people have been making their feelings know recently. I guess I have my answer without having to research it. I have enjoyed his movies to this point but now I will enjoy them less knowing his true feelings about us having guns...................jmho 

I put equal blame on both. 1st The gun shop failed to check the gun for ammo before it ever went in the case. 2nd a trained police Officer with any common sense should have cleared the gun before racking the action back making the gun hot. Every time I have any one a gun I inform them if the gun is hot or not. I also make sure they know the tube is hot and safety is on. The officer actually armed the gun when he racked it. I still say both are at fault but the Officer should have cleared the gun first. You can bet the gun store has insurance and they will settle this out of court because in the end the Gun Shop would lose in court.............jmho

Very glad things didn't go south and no one was hurt. We learn by our mistakes and this mistake was a real learning experience. Again glad no one was hurt................. :up:

Last week there was a post of all the folks with dogs and lots of pictures. In that thread I mentioned that PetSmart and Petco where pulling all of their Chinese dog and cat treats from their shelves and only going to carry American made products. I have always been afraid as i mentioned to feed any dog treats to my mutt Kasey and that I gave her Jacks Links products. i decided to contact Jacks Links to confirm what I already knew but had deleted the email from last time I wrote them. I got a reply back and i am going to post it here. Now I don't use the Original Beef to often because Kasey likes the Turkey jerky more. She will eat either. I also did a comparison of prices between Dog Jerky Treats made in China and Jacks Links and in most cases at Sams Warehouse Jacks Links in the 1lb and 3/4 pound turkey treats are cheaper to buy and if you like Jerky you can share your pet treats with yourself and both of you will be safe to snack. Ok, after I finally got to see the video it didn't show what the guy did to have police cuffs on in the first place so hard to make a judgement call on the rest of it. I will say this. Since Obama got elected in 2008 to present day and with Eric Holder as Attorney General I have seen more and more of things such as this. I can only guess that by elected our first African American President is has embolden more and more of this type of behavior and made our streets much more dangerous for everyone. Black, white, tan. yellow or red makes no difference. Look at Chicago. It is a Slaughter House with Blacks killing Blacks and Obama nor Eric Holder has made any attempt what so ever to try and help fix the situation. My guess is Obama will not be returning to Chicago when he leaves office. Evidently he was not a very good Community Organizer if you look at what happens every day there. As far as Police, since his election their jobs have gotten a 100 + times harder so I compliment all of them for putting their lives on the line everyday to try and keep law biding citizens safe...................jmho

yep!  I wanted to compare several different brands before i purchased my main stock of it back years ago for my 380's. I tried Wolf, PMC, Remington, Monarch and a couple others and you can see and feel a definite difference when you pull the trigger with Fiocchi. That is why I settled on it when I ordered my stock 5+ years back...............jmho

Yea HP, I also bought mine from Ammoman and bought it by the case but it was about 5+ years ago. I did not have any issues with mine and shot about 100 rounds of it through my 2 Bersa's and my Llama with zero issues. My buddy bought the new ammo and that was what he had issues with. I really like the Fiocchi ammo. Seems to be a little hotter than some of the other brands.........jmho

Looks like a combination of Corvette, Ferrari and Lamborghini all wrapped up in one car..............jmho   I think their are many older fellas going through a second childhood these days. I have a buddy  that is 70 years old that went and bought a 2013 Camaro Z28 and I ask him why he bought it and his reply was," I always wanted to own one and now I do."  I went by his place about 3 months ago and his Camaro has 230 miles on it. He said he got scared to drive it because it was to fast for him to control. I think he is considering selling it now.

9MM and 380 Caliber. I gave him a box of my Fiocchi 380 to try and he went through all 50 rounds with no issues. I bought 800 rounds back about 2 years before the ammo shortage when I found them on sale. I think it may be an issue that has come about with ammo shortages and companies trying to keep up with supply and demand. They maybe having quality control issues due to  trying to full orders..........jmho
