1. oh yea, she was barking and if any of them got to close it went from bark to growl and if one had actually got close enough to put their hand in the jeep window they would have gotten bit. She guards that Jeep really well when she is in the back seat. She is old but still can handle herself well and still has great teeth.
2. Well, I don't think these young men called the police and gave them my plate number of I would have never made it home and or the Leos would have been knocking on my door by now. I laid awake thinking about yesterday and i have drawn the conclusion that they were traveling and possibly staying the night in a local motel. A lot of these people are traveling right now to attend protests that are going on in real troubled areas and that is my guess. They may have been headed back to Memphis since they would be traveling I 40. I think everything will be ok and I did not lose any sleep over it except about 10 minutes last evening. I'm comfortable with my actions and did not allow anything to escalate beyond where it did.
3. Yep, it shoots exactly were you want to bullet to hit. I love the gun. I have put about 200 rounds through it and it has never FTFeed or FTFire. I also love the trigger. It is a little firm when firing in double action on that first round but after that she sweetens right up. That's why I ease the hammer back when I did the other day. I have also been chasing and extra magazine or two and I am hoping TripleK will begin making them. They are researching them to see if it would be a profitable enough venture. I hope they begin making them. I have already bought Mags for my Llama from them and they work great so hoping they move forward on these. If they do they will be contacting me to let me know.
4. No Offense was taken at all. I really don't know anything about Cookville other than that is where my boat mechanic is. Beyond that I couldn't say anything either way about the town. As for them being a group and in the town, they may have been passing through on I 40 and staying in a motel there. I have no clue. I just know it was a moderate experience and My blood Pressure didn't even go up. I figured it was going to be up to them how many had to get shot and I am glad they decided None was the number and they moved on. I guess I would have had to call the police at that point..........................
5. No Problem my friend and yea it's a Bersa and I hunted for ever for that particular model and a buddy of mine found one for sale someplace and he didn't even hesitate buying it and calling me and telling me had had got me a great gun and what it was. I was thrilled and even more thrilled when I got it in my hands. I would never load the hammer on a double action revolver while it is holstered. The Bersa is also a double action. My move to pull the hammer back while one of them was looking at it with my hand on it I figured he knew at that point it was in the mode to get ready to do business and it made it much more a discouragement for them to wait around and they began moving away almost immediately .
6. Sorry your offended but a native West Virginian sent it to me to post..............
7. Gosh, guess I need t answer a few things here. First is I never put my gun in m console and glad I didn't cause my friend that was in my Jeep with Kasey may not have been as in control as I was. He had locked all the doors when they first began poking jokes at Kasey being so fat and she was barking at them. Second is I will definitely call the police if I am ever in another situation like this again. It was not all that serious and once they realized I was armed the situation was defused and in all honesty I would have hated to see a bunch of police roll in on these kids and make things escalate a lot more and maybe a LEO get excited and shoot a kid. Some one ask where it was. It was a fast stop or quick stop market between Interstate Drive and I-40. I just dropped my boat off on Interstate Drive and was heading back home. As far as my cocking my model 85 in my holster. The safety was on and hammer was in the de-cock position which allows the 85 hammer to be cocked while on safety. Gotta love a quality Bersa. The new Bersa's don't offer that option. That is why I wanted the model 85 so bad and was able to get one a year ago. Plus it also offers and has the 15 round capacity with 1 in the tube and 14 in the magazine. I promise I will call the police next time.....................  I am not familiar with Cookville other than when I take my boat up there for service so don't know what the ratio is on Black and White and don't really care. I do know that when I go and pick my boat back up I won't make any stops on the way back home.......
8. Well, I thought about calling the police but it appeared they were all walking and had no vehicle to get into. I watched the boy with his hand in his pocket and it appeared he wrapped his hand around a knife and not a firearm. Had I seen a firearm come out he would have got shot first. By the time police would have arrived and filed a report and then actually went looking for them they would have been long gone. If it had escalated farther I would have had no choice. All I wanted to do after they moved on was get on my way home.
9. I missed it too when it was first released but in all honesty I would guess that the only person it was offensive to was the teacher. Other students wouldn't pay no or little attention to it...........jmho
10. I had to take my Skeeter Bass Boat in for repairs and after dropping it off before hitting the interstate to come home I stopped at a quick stop market to get a bottle of water and my buddy with me a Pepsi. When I came out of the store I noticed that 5 young black youths had kinda surrounded my jeep and buddy inside and of course I had Kasey along. they were poking fun at her and yelling at her and she was barking back at them. When I approached my Jeep 3 of the young men stepped between me and my jeep and were about 10 feet away. I ask them politely to let me pass and one of them said "what you gonna do if we don't"? I saw one of them slip his hand in his pocket. I always wear a cover shirt with only one button closed. I unbuttoned it and opened it up just enough for them to see it and I eased my hand around my model 85 and pulled the hammer back but never removed it from holster. I asked again to back off and let me in my jeep. When the one up front saw I was ready to do what ever it took to get in my jeep they all moved back and began to walk away after they huddled up for a few seconds. I waited till they were a safe distance before moving towards my Jeep. That was were it all ended and I would like to hear thoughts and opinions on if my actions were the right ones? I don't think any of them were much over 14 years old..............................
11. That Sporting Clay range off Briley Parkway is a pretty cool place. went there twice a couple years back with a friend and its a nice place. Friend was shooting. My shoulders won't let me shoot anymore..............
12. A guy walks into a bar in West Virginia and orders a white wine. All the hillbillies sitting around the bar look up from their beer and whiskey, expecting to see some pitiful Yankee from the north.   The bartender says, "You ain't from around here, are ya?"   The guy says, "No, I'm from Canada." The bartender says, "What do you do in Canada?" The guy says, "I'm a taxidermist." The bartender says, "A taxidermist? What in the hell is a taxidermist? Do you drive a taxi?" "No," says the Canadian, "I don't drive a taxi.  I mount animals."   The bartender grins and hollers, "It's okay, boys. He's one of us!"
13. I think they were expecting trouble because of the type of program that it was and that is why the swat team was that close and could react so quickly but credit the officer for buying the swat team time to respond. He prevented what could have been a blood bath like the one in Europe that was not prevented for almost the same program that was going on in Texas..............jmho
14. I often wonder if a lot of what happens to him is not staged by him just to keep him in the spot light..................jmho
15. Hopefully there is several good guys with guns nearby.................. :ugh: :ugh:
16. Back many moons ago as a kid growing up on a large ranch we saw many things city folks missed out on. I got to see a Black Racer in action and had lock horns with a large Copperhead out beside the smoke house the whole incident lasted about 20 minutes but the Black Snake came out victorious and ate the Copperhead. I didn't hang around for that part but an hour later that big black snake had crawled right up in shade of edge of smoke house and laid there till almost dark before moving on. It was very interested.
17. They may be hard to see but if your nose works well you can smell them. If your walking in woods or anyplace a snake may be and you smell cucumbers and there are is cucumber patch around you can bet a Copperhead is...................
18. I also have a safe and I have it written down and put right out in the open for all to see. All anyone will have to do is break the code in which it is written and they can open the safe. I have had several really good close friends and a few family members try and break the code and open the safe and it has not been opened yet...............
19. Rat poison will cause the rat to need water and they went in the house in search of it and died before they could get back out. It has a major dose of blood thinners in it and they bleed to death internally. Other more friendly critters such as hawks and Eagles may eat them as they are dying and in turn it kills the bird. I don't recommend using any type of poison on rodents.......jmho
20. Starbucks will settle out of court and pay the guy off to shut him up and make this go away fast............jmho

Flu

I know they say this strain is not in the shot but all the folks I know that got the shot didn't get this strain so the shot does help anyway...........IMO
22. I don't think I would ever follow anyone home and give them home field advantage even if I was packing heat. I would follow and get tag number and then make a 911 call and report a very reckless driver operating on such and such road and let the authorities go to the persons home................jmho
23. I really don't think the Trooper had it towed because he was a nice guy. I mean the Trooper almost ran into the back of my jeep once because of the guy slamming on his brakes. I had another issue like this back many years ago on Old Hickory Blvd going from Bellevue to Brentwood to work one morning. I was about 3 cars back from this clown that thought it was funny to keep slamming on his brakes causing everyone behind him to hit theirs. I knew there was about 5 or more cars behind me going through this guys game and finally a State Trooper in a marked Car with rollers turn them on and moved into left lane and when he got to the car right behind this clown everyone slowed and he eased in behind him and pulled him over. Guy was driving a Cadillac El Dorado and just so happens Brentwood Shell where I worked got a tow call just as I walked in the door and clocked in. We were the Area Zone Towing Service for State and county and  the boss told me to get the Ford and go pick up a Cadillac El Dorado on OHB for State Trooper. When I got there I didn't bother being nosey and ask any questions. I just saw the guy was sitting on his hands in the back seat of the Squad car. Guy showed up about 10 days later and paid the tow and storage to get his car back.
24. The only thing I know about Cordell Hull is it will get a lower unit in a heartbeat so I won't put my boat on it. I have had several buddies damage their boats on it so if you go, Be careful and wear your life jacket and hook up that kill switch and hope you have a trouble free trip and catch lots of fish..........................
25. I had a good laugh the other day on Vietnam Veterans Blvd. I was heading to Sams for some stuff and I was following a late model Range Rover. I was doing 55 mph and so was it and ever so often he would just hit his brakes and slow all at once causing me to hit mine and that caused the black Suburban with tinted windows to slam on their brakes. After the guy done this about 4 times the Black vehicle pulled out and passed me and the window came down and a Highway Patrolman motioned for me to slow and allow him in from of me so I did. The clown in the Rover did it to him twice and the second time I saw all the flashing lights come on in the windows and places you would not expect them. I slowed as the range Rover pulled to the side of the road with the Black truck behind it. I slowly moved over to left lane and went on. When I cam out of Sam's I saw the Range Rover on a roll back wrecker heading for Hendersonville towing. I guess the Trooper was not happy with the persons reason for their actions. I just thought it was funny.
