Sounds more like they are there to eliminate competition. The dead guy was probably a Mule that was bringing in a competitors drugs and they sent a message that the area already had a business operating there and new business was being discouraged! Welcome to Memphis!!!!!

I went from about 8 birds in May to about 25 birds today and had to add 3 feeders so all the birds could feed. I sat on the deck and watched them for about an hour today and I noticed 2 things I had not been paying much attention too till today. I have about 10 adult birds and about that many or more birds 1/2 the size of the adults. I also noticed that there might be 3 or more birds on the same feeder without fighting. I called a buddy of mine at TWRA and told him what I was seeing and he said that the smaller birds were this years hatch and the adults on the feeders with the smaller birds where most likely the parents and that is why they we not fighting. He said next year I should prepare to have a lot of birds next year as most of these will return next year and have young again. I guess I will have to put all 15 feeders up next year. I probably better buy a bunch of sugar this year before there is none to get.

You may end up looking for a place out side of Nashville to find what your looking for....JMHO

Well, we don't have the blonde with the gleam but we do have a woman that comes on at 5:30 that has a personality of a Mop and you can tell by her reporting that she is reading every word she says. Zero emotion almost robotic!

I have noticed that when there is an incident such as the good guy with a gun takes out a bad guy with a gun there is little to no news medias that spend little to no time on it but if the bad guy is able to do a lot, the news has it on for a week or longer. Especially if the good guy is a legally armed civilian!

I would have stood next to a pillar also if I was up against and maniac with an AR and I had a Glock 9MM. Smart move for sure....JMHO.

I would guess that the hero has grown up around firearms most of his life and spent a lot of time in a range. What ever gave him his abilities, to put 8 out of 10 rounds in the bad guy at 40 feet is to be commended and his actions are appreciated by many!!

I have been feeding about 8-10 birds since mid May which is about 1/2 half the number of Birds I had last year. Last year I fought Piss Ants all summer and this year it's large black ants that can swim so the ant moats slow them down but don't stop them. They don't seem to bother the Birds on the feeders like the wasps do. I will keep feeding them till 1st frost and then I will leave 1 feeder up for birds during Fall migration until it freezes and then I will take it down, I have seen a few birds on that 1 feeder as late as Halloween a few times.

I hope everyone is making sure their pets are taken care of in this heat.....

I put my feeders up the 1st day of April like I do every year and it was about a month before I saw 1 bird. It went like that for almost the whole month before a second on showed up giving me 2 birds. As time went on I got another and then another and I changed out the food (sugar water) and now I have about 8 birds. Last year I had about 15+. I don't have a clue why there are not more birds.

All these laws the politicians are trying to pass that is trying to take away the Second Amendment is causing many of these shootings. Bad guys don't care about the laws and I think if they cause enough gun havoc while the politicians debate new gun laws that will prevent the law abiding Americans from owning guns it will make the bad guys actions safer knowing less good guys will have guns to protect themselves with. That is if existing gun owners will begin to use common sense and quit leaving guns in unlocked vehicles in their driveways to arm the bad guys with!........JMHO

I have heard several stories about the attack on Pearl Harbor was supposed to have a second attack on the west coast by the Japanese army and it was called off by the Fleet commander and his reason is their army would be defeated because behind every blade of grass is an American with a gun!! That was back in 1941. Just imagine what they would think today about an attack!!! All because of the 2nd Amendment stopped an attack in 1941. I have heard about that from Vets from WWII.

This incident is about as close to a copycat act as I have heard about. Take a look back at Sandy Hook and then look at this one. Adam Lanza shot and killed his mother before going to the school and this punk shot his grandmother before going to the school. Is there any comparison between the 2?........JMHO

My guess and this is a guess but I would say they were just doing their job and working at catching bad guys. If your not doing anything wrong then you don't any reason to worry about it. JMHO
