Yea, you got one one of those great OMC motors. The Fast Strikes from 90 to 95 were almost bullet proof motors like my Yamaha. I had to have carbs rebuilt, have inner and out exhaust pans replaced inside power head as they had holes burned in them allowing exhaust to escape inside the power head and that was what was killing number 4 cylinder. Had all new fuel lines and filters replaced, lower unit serviced and seals replaced. Water pump and new primer bulbs replaced. Total bill $908.00. I called a few other dealers and got quotes from them on what all S&R Marine did and everyone of them was $1200.00 or more. That is why S&R does all my work...................

I need to look when I watch the next NASCAR race because in all honesty the only flags I have seen at them are the American flags in the crowds. I guess I should have looked before all the controversy cause now there will probably be some................. :ugh: :ugh:

Kids Create Salt Black Markets in Cafeterias
bersaguy replied to Grand Torino's topic in General Chat
back when I was in Grade school in the 5th grade I had a man teacher named Donald Bruce and I will never forget him. On our first day of school he said before I am done teaching you students there are three things you will know and know well. They are Reading, Writing and Arthematic. He made sure of that and when the class moved to the 6th grade he moved with us and we had him for a second year. Our reading consisted of reading our U.S. History and our writing came from the World History books as we would be required to write out of them for 30 minutes and then read to the class what were wrote. Our Math got 1 hours of each day dedicated to it. I am still complimented to this day about how nice my hand writing is for a man. His goal was to make sure that when we went out into the world we would know the 3 main things that a person will use every day of their. Reading, Writing and Math. I'm 67 years old and I use all 3 of those teachings every day. Those are the dedicated teachers we need teaching our children today.....................  -

What I would like to see is some lunatic start to begin shooting up some place and a couple Sheep Dogs in the crowd with HCP's kill the SOB. If that would happen a few times it might make a difference. I know I am going to receive some flack about HCP's in Gun Free Zones breaking the law but who are they going to be most proud of when the smoke clears. The dead bad guy or the Sheep Dogs that prevented another mass killing?.......................jmho

If I am not mistaken this issue was taken up in the SCOTUS a few years back and it was determined by the Court that the 2Nd Amendment will stand as written and will not be infringed upon. They also stated that they will not now of in the future hear any more cases pertaining to the 2nd Amendment period. So they can say all they want about taking away the guns but the SCOTUS says no so I just don't see it happening in our lifetime..............jmho

Rise in guns turning fights deadly in Clarksville
bersaguy replied to FortKnox's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Gosh after reading all the posts I had to go back and read the OP to see what it was about........ thread went a tad off course. Ok according to the post Clarksville is having more shootings and he blames it on to many guns in vehicles and I look back and remember back in High School when all of us would show up for class , you could look out in the parking lot and every pickup truck would have two or more long guns in gun racks in back windows with ammo under the seats and many of the guns were loaded. I know my were and I cannot remember 1 news report of shooting at any schools. my question is at what point in time did all of those good ole days go away. It was still here when I left for Service and when I came back it was all but gone................  -
Article: "Evaluating the Left's Madness on Gun Control"
bersaguy replied to Randall53's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I thought all of this was settled back a few years ago when the SCOTUS made their decision on the 2nd Amendment and declared it totally legal and said it will remain as written and said that the issue is not be brought up again in this court as it will not be heard. That means that were are stuck dealing with most everything with state governments and what damage they can do to our freedoms and lives..........jmho -
TN Anti-Gun State Rep Indicted On Federal Charges
bersaguy replied to Oh Shoot's topic in General Chat
As far back as I can remember I use to hear my grandfather and my father talk about how crooked our Government was at all levels so I guess this is nothing new. It is just that more of them are being caught and once the news gets hold of anything it goes public which didn't happen 60 years ago. It has become Dog Eat Dog in politics these days and those who someone is their puts a knife in their back to either protect their own crimes by rolling on another politician. All politicians have assumed for far to many years that they are above the law. Well ever once in a while they assume wrong. I just wish it happened a lot more than it does. Obama is living proof of that. He as lied to and cheated the American people for almost 8 years and nothing has been done about it. As far as i am concerned he is a black Richard Nixon that has not been held accountable for any of his actions................jmho -
I have had a Bass Pro Shop within 30 minutes of my house for about 15 years now and have been in it twice. Both times I was riding with someone else. I love to fish and Bass fished for the last 30+ years but if and when I spend money on fishing tackle I stay with the Mom and Pop small businesses when at all possible or order direct from a place like Tackle Warehouse. Now if your going because of firearms that may be different because I didn't look at them either time I was there. ............... :ugh:

OS beat me to it but this time of year most all rabbits have the Tularemia germs in their blood stream. You cannot tell it to easy which ones have it and which ones don't. The ones that have it will die off quickly after first couple frosty nights. I grew up hunting rabbits but never hunted or ate any till after first couple frosts. When the cold nights hit you can tell any sick ones that may have survived because they won't run from you when you walk up on them and most cases the dogs will kill them if you don't shoot it. Me and my buddy would shoot sick ones and hang them in trees for predator birds to feed on. If they won't run from you or your beagles you don't want to eat them. My buddy and I would kill 300+ rabbits every season when we were growing up. My mother could make some really fine meals out of rabbits I brought home. My favorite was Hasenfeffer (German Rabbit Stew) and Rabbit and dumplings. I thin I ate rabbit about every way it could be cooked and never found a dish of it I didn't like...........

For some strange reason I think it is very strange that if the family are not White Extremists of some type that they would have seen that their son had issues and they chose to ignore them...............jmho

When I first moved to Tennessee from Illinois as a kid of 16 I would go up and park out side an African American country church in a small community called Bell Town in the warm weather just to listen to that magnificent choir sing because all the doors and windows were open and when they were in the spirit and the singers were singing it was totally beautiful and I would try to make sure I got there on time to hear them. You could feel the joy that was coming from that singing out in my truck...........jmho

Guess where you can not carry in SC….
bersaguy replied to timcalhoun's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
In all honesty I don't see very many churches purchasing million dollar metal detectors to place and all their entrances to keep bad guys from entering so a Sheep Dog probably won't have any issues while going armed in Church and with churches now becoming targets I think more and more Churches are going to look the other way for their flock being armed to protect those who are not...........jmho -
I would not in any way touch it. I would call police and tell them what I have found and request that they come and handle it. If anyone used it in a crime or murdered someone I damn sure don't want my prints any where near it............jmho
