  1. A guy goes into the Canada Post Office to apply for a job. The interviewer asks him, "Are you allergic to anything?" He replies, "Yes, caffeine. I can't drink coffee." "Ok. Have you ever been in the military service?" "Yes," he says. "I was in Afghanistan for one tour." The interviewer says, "That will give you five extra points toward employment." Then he asks, "Are you disabled in any way?" The guy says, "Yes. A bomb exploded near me and I lost both my testicles." The interviewer grimaces and then says, "Disabled in your country's service. Well, that qualifies for extra bonus points. Okay. Looking at the regulations you have got enough points for me to hire you right now. Our normal hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.You can start tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., and plan on starting at 10:00 a.m. every day." The guy is puzzled and asks, "If the work hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. , why don't you want me here until 10:00 a.m.?" "This is a government job," the interviewer says. "For the first two hours, we just stand around drinking coffee and scratching our balls. No point in you coming in for that."
  2. About the only problem I have with photo bucket is that i works pretty much like any other web site of that nature. It makes sure that all of the paid advertising gets put up first and foremost before you can do what you want to do. No different than Google or  Yahoo or any others............jmho
  3. I think the entire story is all screwed up. Not much of it makes any sense and along with Waffle House food it's all kind of slippery and slimy...........jmho
  4. I'm almost positive Porsche will settle this without it ever going to court just so it will go away..........jmho
  5. i have been using Photo Gallery for about 10 years now and never had an issue with posting a picture on any websites as of yet, "BUT" with that said I don't use phone camera's either so that may be why I have not had any issues.......... :2cents:
  6. I think when he got it the gun was semi auto but he had a little work done to it right after getting it and I remember him telling me that once the work was done with a 30 round magazine the last round would be leaving the barrel before the first empty casing hit the ground and he was right so it was full auto. I am guessing since it emptied the first magazine on one trigger pull of about 3.5 seconds. That was when I knew someone else needed to own the gun besides me.......................... :hiding:
  7. Back about 8 years ago when my oldest brother passed away he left orders for his wife to bring me a lock box he had and not to open it up. Just bring it to me. He had sent me a key for the box several years earlier and told me to just make sure I put it in a safe place. When I got it I opened it up. In the box was an M 11- A1 380 cal Open bolt and all accessories made by RPB Industries that went with it  He had purchased in 1979. It including a few Items I didn't at the time feel safe having in my house. It had ten 30 round magazines. A buddy of mine and I took it to the range with 100 rounds of ammo. It ate ammo faster than kid on Halloween having a sugar rush. 100 rounds lasted almost 2 minutes. Hide sight is always 20/20 and I contacted a friend of mine with an FFL !!! license and told him I wanted to sell it. He made me a very very generous offer and after doing some research and price checking I found out he was offering me full retail for it so I sold it to him. I felt much better not having it in my home but now in some ways I wish I had not sold it...........
  8. I think the card is a very effective tool for sure and I would advise folks that have HCP's to get some and when they find one of their favorite places to eat or shop newly posted they need to give one to the manager/owner to make your feelings know. The more cards he/she gets the better our ideals will be expressed. That is why I printed off about 50 letters with my contact information on them, hand signed and I even put them in envelopes and always have a few with me when I go out. I just think we need to get our messages out just as much or more than the left does. We do have one major thing in our favor. Our money!!!! When the left is able to talk a business owner into putting up signs they are costing the business money. When they don't put the signs up or they remove them the business is making money. Simple as that!!.....................jmho
  9. Feed the birds!!!!! Gosh that is the story of my life.......  I feed birds and Squirrels year around. I feed Hummingbirds all Summer and i have 10 HB feeders up. I had birds up till about 5 days ago and all at once they are gone again for another year. I will leave the feeders up for any late migrating birds for about 2 more weeks and then will switch over to the seed feeders for my winter time birds. I will put up about 15 extra long tube feeders up for the birds and 6 box feeders for the Squirrels. I have already bought 100 lbs of bird seed and 100 pounds of wild critter mix. Later on when the acorns fall I have a place I can go with my shop vac and pick up about 100 lbs of acorns to mix into the critter mix. That should get me into mid February depending on how hard the Winter is. Except for my Kasey girl, wild critters are my biggest enjoyment. They are a pleasure and so relaxing to just sit and watch.............

I think a lot of people buy them just as a status symbol and not for the real reason for which they were made. I have a guy across the street from my place that has a black Hummer. I am thinking that what he paid for the tires and wheels he had put on it could pay for a great college education in many colleges. I have never seen it dirty or driven in the rain..................

Sure glad I don't need a new truck. They cost more now days than I paid for any one of my first 3 houses and I had some pretty nice houses...............
  12.   I cannot debate this because all I can speak of is my experiences with Autistic Children and young men and young ladies I have been acquainted with over my life. They may very well react in a manner I am not accustom to seeing for sure. I was just speaking from my past experiences........
  13. I tried that when I was first placed on my diet in January. I went to that Truvia sweetener which was not bad but a little costly and I don't use a lot of flour but do in my fried foods because that was one thing I was able to cut back on but not give up. I eat about 1/2 as many as I use to but then my fried foods consisted of fish mostly and I deep fry them in Olive Oil but I have learned many other ways to also enjoy fish. Grilled in Lemon Pepper and wrapped in foil, Grilled in foil with Bell Peppers, onions and garlic with fish just brushed slightly with olive oil. Both of those are lip smacking good. Can do the same thing with Chicken Breasts. I eat wheat bread and Rye bread but did that for many years before learning about my diabetes. Was never much of a white bread person. ........just my................ :2cents:
  14. There are always two side to every story, that's for sure. in the first report the kid Cody was to have sucker punched was what some noted as a Bully. Now with that being known and if the Semi Blind Moderately Autistic young man did at that point go after the Bully, it was probably from sometime in the past that the Bully instigated the encounter and the handicap kid was just tired of it. As far as I'm concerned if the kid was only semi blind and had any type of Autism period the bully had no right to pick on him that time or any other time. I have known a few Autistic kids over the years and it really takes a lot to bring out anger in them. All I have ever known were very passive and mellow .................jmho
  15. In Australia, the curbside garbage carts are called "wheelie bins." A garbage collector is driving along a Sydney street picking up the wheelie bins and emptying them into his rubbish truck. He goes to one house where the bin hasn't been left out. In the spirit of kindness and after having a quick look about for the bin, he gets out of his truck, goes to the front door and knocks. There's no answer. Being a conscientious bloke, he knocks again - much harder. Eventually, a Japanese man comes to the door. "Harro!" says the Japanese man. "G'day mate, where's ya' bin?" asks the collector. "I bin on toilet," explains the Japanese bloke, a bit perplexed. Realizing the fellow had misunderstood him, the bin man smiles and tries again. "No mate, where's ya' dust bin?" "I dust been to toilet, I toll you!'' says the Japanese man, still perplexed. "Listen," says the garbage collector. "You're misunderstanding me. I mean, where's ya' wheelie bin?'" "OK, OK. " replies the Japanese man with a sheepish grin, and whispers in the collector's ear. "I wheelie bin having sex wiffa wife's sista!!!"
  16. A woman meets a man in a bar. They talk; they connect; they end up leaving together. They get back to his place, And as he shows her around his apartment, she notices that one wall of his bedroom is Completely filled with soft, sweet, cuddly teddy bears. There are three shelves in the bedroom, With hundreds and hundreds of cute,Cuddly teddy bears carefully placed in rows, covering the entire wall! It was obvious that he had taken Quite some time to lovingly arrange them And she was immediately touched by the amount of thought he had put into organizing the display There were small bears all along the bottom shelf, Medium-sized bears covering the length of the middle shelf, And huge, enormous bears running all the way along the top shelf. She found it strange for an obviously masculine guy To have such a large collection of Teddy Bears, She is quite impressed by his Sensitive side. But doesn't mention this to him. They share a bottle of wine and continue talking and, After a while, she finds herself thinking, 'Oh my God! Maybe, this guy could be the one! Maybe he could be the future Father of my children?' She turns to him and kisses him Lightly on the lips He responds warmly They continue to kiss, the passion builds, And he romantically lifts her in his arms and carries her into his bedroom Where they rip off each others clothes and make hot, steamy love. She is so overwhelmed that she responds with more passion, More creativity, more heat than she has ever known. After an intense, explosive night of raw passion with this sensitive guy, They are lying there together in the afterglow. The woman rolls over, gently strokes his chest and asks coyly, 'Well, how was it?' The guy gently smiles at her, Strokes her cheek, looks deeply into her eyes and says: 'Help yourself to any prize from the middle shelf'
  17. Women come and women go but really ugly HOT PINK P238's are hard to come by.   Hope you get the gun back...........
  18.   There has been a few times in my life after becoming an adult that I have stepped into a situation where some young punks had targeted and older or handicap person to pick on and make fun of and poke with a stick. Had I not stepped in it would have eventually had escalated without a doubt. I guess it was just old feelings coming back from days with my brother but I was not going to allow them to continue and willing to do what it took to stop it. It never went much farther before the punks thought it might be best they moved on. As I walked away after getting things settled I had that thought run through my mind of I am my brothers Keeper and I think I might have even smiled.
  19. Hope you get it back and bad guys go to Gray Bar Hotel......................... :2cents:
  20. I won't go into particulars but my brother next oldest to myself had Polio at age 5 and was crippled from that point on but able to function and attend school but walked with a limp and his arms and hands were quit a bit smaller than normal and yea, we had bullies back then also. I spent 8 years of Grammer school getting the sh-t pounded out of me by upper class bullies for sticking up for my brother but after all I was my brothers keeper. I was in 7th grade when my brother entered high school and I could no longer protect him but I had one ace in the hole. I had a buddy that was same age as my brother and he stepped up to become my brothers keeper till I reached high School. Thing is my friend was a freshman that stood 6'3" tall and weighed in about 240 and not even upper classmates wanted to mess with him. Once I made high school my brother had two keepers. Kids are mean for sure and it is not something new. It is just having more attention paid to it now than back then. Brother went on to finish high school and on to Junior college along with my buddy. doctors had told my parents he probably would not live past his early 20's but he went on to marry, have a family and passed away in his sleep at age 42 from heart failure. Lost him in June 1990, 2 days before his 43rd birthday................ :ugh:
  21. I think Dolo's idea is great but not much use for us folks on city water. I have no well to depend on so I have to depend on a creek about a 1/2 mile from the house if we don't have city water. I began giving that a lot of thought some time back so I went up and made a few trips up and down the creek looking for just the right drops in the stream where I could place my water containers lower than the water level. I then put my theory to the test and it worked well. I purchased a couple Primer bulbs like used on out board motors . I put a plastic 1/2 tube on both ends and pumped the bulb about 4 times and had a good flow of water into my water buckets. Works just like a siphoning system. Surely not as efficient as a well and Dolo's method but would work in an emergency quite well. and would be able to fit in back pack..............jmho
  22. I found out last December I had type 2 diabetes and they put me on medications for it. I went on the diet they recommended and most of the foods taste like cardboard. I dropped about 25 lbs. I have had High Blood Pressure as it is hereditary in my family for most of my life. My body was destroyed back in 78 when I got pinned between a brick wall and run away pickup truck with no driver and doctors said about 60% of the bones in my body were either broke or fractured. Was operated on 4 times in less than a week just to keep me alive. Spent from April 17th till middle of November in St Thomas Hospital. Doctors told me I should have been killed with all the damage my body received. I no longer have a spline among other things I use to have.  They told me that I would probably recover well till about 50 and then my bones would begin reminding me about that truck every day and rainy days would be worse. Well, it actually began to show up really a lot at age 55. If I walk to the mail box in front of my house and back without a cane I have to stop and rest because my body is hurting so bad. I have a great GP doctor and she tells me I need to exercise more and I raise up my right hand and open and close it 5 times into a fist and she laughs and says "Don't over do it". She knows I can't exercise but I can walk. I can walk into Walmart and take a cart and walk all over that store for hours pain free. Same with Krogers so that is how I exercise weekly. I do shop at Krogers but I just walk at Walmart.   Now with all of that said. I wake up each morning morning and stick my finger and test my blood sugar before eating and coffee. My sugar has been in the safe range since I came home from hospital in December and went on the cardboard diet. Since i am somewhat of a chance taker and always have been I began moving away from the cardboard diet and went back to eating many of the foods I enjoyed before they told me I was diabetic. Since June I have been back almost 100% of my old diet and my sugar levels have actually dropped about 15 to 20 points below the cardboard diet every morning. I spoke with my doctor about it and she said as long as I don't gain the weight back I should be just fine. I gained back 1 pound is all. I am 67 years (young) old and according to the surgeons that have spent time walking around inside my body 10 times now including last January repairing things I should not even be here.  I figure well if I should not be here but still am GOD has something in mind for me and I will be here until he punches my number so I am going to enjoy it while I'm here as best my body will allow me to............jmho...........
  23. In all honesty, I don't think anyone takes our rights and the Constitution lightly here. This is a very diverse site with many folks having their own views on issues but taking the 2nd amendment lightly is not one of them..............jmho
  24. I would just love to be able to drive on a Tennessee Highway and not see a row of orange barrels. That would be a novelty in itself.....jmho
  25. I know I should feel remorse over this but for some reason I can't. I think in some odd way it is some kind of punishment being handed down for the actions and beliefs of those of the Islamic Faith. This seems to happen at almost every one of these big (I guess you might call it a revival) or holy gathering. I find it strange that of all the people killed the only country to speak up and criticize Saudi Arabia is Iran and none of their people where killed, just a few hurt.......................
