I have seen some of those camera systems that have very clear images and others that are nothing but a blur. If I could not make out the brand of automobile sitting in my driveway or a person clearly enough to describe any tattoos of other identifying marks on the person I would be getting my money back and looking elsewhere for a better brand...........jmho They remind me of the ones you see on the news that says if any one can identify this person please call Crimestoppers. I laugh every time I see one of those. The picture is a blob of blur!!! You would think a business owner would invest in a better camera video system than most do.........jmho

I got to meet Trickynicky yesterday for a short but pleasant visit. He brought me a larger monitor I needed and we visited a few minutes. It was raining and he was kind of in a hurry but great guy for sure. He was in a hurry cause he was all packed up and moving to Atlanta and just stopped long enough to drop off the monitor. He said he will be back on site soon as he gets settled in Atlanta.............

I guess I am one of the guys that piss folks off but I do it from the right lane. I never drive in the left lane on any divided highway or interstate and I will try to maintain between 55 and 60 MPH. I obey the signs that says "Slower traffic keep right' but there seems to always be someone run up behind me and then tailgate me for a mile or so before passing me. I guess they think I am going to speed up but I don't. These days I am not in a big hurry to get anywhere so I try to go in off peak traffic times and I drive my speeds I drive. On two lane highways I will always try and maintain the posted speed limits.............

Gosh !!!! I guess I don't have an answer for that one. To the best of my knowledge I don't have any family members that does not own at least 2 or more firearms of some type and most everyone old enough to legally carry in my family carries and I don't think I have any people I would call friends that don't own and or carry a firearm........................

I decided since it was just me and Kasey I would do a Cajun Thanksgiving. We had 2 different type of fried Crappie fillets, Some Cajun spicy and some plain for her. Then made some homemade Hush Puppy's and some Black skillet home fries with onions and Cajun spices in some and some plain for her. Made just enough for both of us to have a late snack about 6 PM after eating about 1:30 PM. She loves Crappie and fried taters as much as I do and would eat all I would give her................

Got my first deer from 10-Ring today and it is now hanging in Poindexters cooler waiting for processor to pick it up. It was a beautiful Buck and I think 8 point. He and his father went out this morning and dad bagged this big buck. I want to thank him for his generosity. He is a great guy to talk to and enjoyed getting to talk with him and his father. Both great individuals for sure. His dad is going to have a skull mount made which costs 60 Bucks and it can also be done through Poindexters Bait and Tackle also. I think the skull mounts look pretty cool from the pictures I saw............

Gun Rights groups going after Gun Free Zones!!!
bersaguy replied to bersaguy's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Ok Mike, here's a review: One Group Has Jaw-Dropping Plans For “Gun-Free Zones” That will Enrage Millions 30599382_s There’s no doubt about it, gun free zones do absolutely noting to prevent mass shootings. Just take a look at a list of all the recent mass shootings the mainstream media has focused on and you’ll see 90%+ took place in a gun free zone. Which is of course why pro-gun groups have another name for the gun free zone…referring to them as target rich environments. One pro gun group thinks they’re so awful they’d like it so the creators of the gun free zone are actually the one held responsible for deaths that take place inside of these “protected spaces.” Guns.com writes: A gun rights group on Monday called for liability in mass shootings to be shifted to the entity or person who created a gun-free zone on which the incident occurred. The Second Amendment Foundation released its report on resolutions adopted at its September policy conference in Phoenix, Arizona, where the gun rights group reaffirmed its belief that that prohibiting guns in specific areas makes them vulnerable to mass shootings. The SAF also voted to unify support of urban and rural gun ownership, going as far as to put in writing its undeniable support of a measure in Utah correcting language to the 1934 National Firearms Act and 1968 Gun Control Act defining suitable firearms as those “particularly suitable for sporting purposes,” where self-defense isn’t mentioned. The bill, H.R. 2710 – also supported by the National Shooting Sports Foundation and the National Rifle Association – would further protect large caliber rifles and shotguns from the classification of “destructive devices” under the NFA and would prevent the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives from from being able to reclassify ammunition to “armor piercing.” A recent scare over the potential ban of green tip rounds for all but military and law enforcement use caused panicked purchasing in the civilian community, in turn increasing the ammunition’s value significantly. The argument was over whether that type of round, used in AR platform rifles, was suitable for sporting use. ARs have become increasingly popular in hunting. The committee also urged lawmakers to pass legislation protecting businesses and organizations that don’t post signs banning guns and called for gun owners to practice their Second Amendment rights and “joyously act in what an outsider might describe as ‘irrational self-reliance.'” This is a reasonable action to pursue. Businesses who look to infringe on a person’s second amendment right to protect themselves ought to be held liable for any injury taking place there. That’s what the Supreme Court rules on plenty of other acts that are in violation of a person’s constitutional rights, so why not have it be the case here too? Do you like the idea that it should be the people who prevent others from protecting themselves who should be held responsible for harm done to a person? Or should the gun manufacturer’s be the ones who have to pony up? -

My AVG didn't signal any problems with it at all and I just clicked on it again and opened it up and it works fine. It even posted my link on Google and opened up TGO link again and it worked. -
That's a fine deer for sure and I bet you put that mount on the wall of your man cave.........

How to thank an officer for going far beyond the C.O.D.?
bersaguy replied to Randall53's topic in General Chat
It might be that the officer may not want his nice gesture known to all his fellow officers so I would try and see a way to make gift card that he can use personally and just say Thank you for your kindness to so-n-so in a Christmas card. Wait until a time when he can be approached and hand it to him, say thanks and walk away. A Prepaid Visa Gift card might be nice in a card..............just my :2cents: -

We have intermittent outages here from time to time and I hate it cause my coffee maker does not have a battery back up and I get up to no coffee. If the power comes back on and the timer has a backup it will make coffee. I have to fire up camp stove and do it the old fashion way if it does not come on before I wake up. Last time I did that the power came back on before the camp stove completed the coffee. I am going to buy a new coffee maker with a battery back up so it keeps the timer working instead of going to all flashing zeros. I know it still won't make coffee unless the power comes back on but at least I won't have to keep resetting the damn thing. I am not a nice guy till after my second cup in the morning............. :wall:
