I thought since we are showing off some big smallies I would add some a friend of mine catches on Dale Hollow using my Floating Flies we make in winter time. He uses 8 lb Braid with a 4 lb fluorocarbon 8 foot leader on FNF rods. I have seen the advertisement for the movie several times and I think it is going to be a good movie to watch but not from the viewpoint of the loss of lives that the movie is based on. Will be a good action film..........jmho

I don't care what your status is in the public eye. No one has the right to do what he is accused of. If he is guilty he deserves everything any other person would receive. If Cosby was seeking female companionship out side of his marriage, with his money I am quite sure he could have found it without raping non consenting females................jmho

Back when I spoke up I was just saying if it was not so far my son would take her because he has a soft spot for Blue Ticks but he lives about 100 miles west of me and I am about 200 miles from K Town. I am thrilled that she is going to have a great life soon and Praise to all involved , and three Cheers  for both Mrs Monkey and Reefer for taking the steps necessary to make sure she is safe and will have a good future......

If it wasn't so far I know my son would take her. He has a soft spot for Blue Tick hounds even if they don't hunt. They make great pets and will let you know if someone is poking around after dark that shouldn't be.....................

Glad to hear your back up and operational again. Never good to have a 4X4 that does not work when you need it............

Those were sure some chunks. Fat Spots for sure and old bucket mouth was nice also but that Bronzeback was my favorite. I would rather catch those than any of the bass family. They are challenge to get in the boat from the second you set the hook in one till they are in the net. My favorite lake to fish for Bronzebacks Smallies is Tims Ford........................

I also have friends that got hit with wage cuts and lay offs in the oil fields and the big oil companies could care less. They know that if they have to hire anyone if things change they won't have any problem finding new or rehiring old employees. I think Big Oil was trying to do just what you said. Using up all the OPEC reserves while sitting on their own. Now they have about made OPEC eat crow over that embargo back in the 70's but with the unstable middle east I don't agree with exporting any of our oil yet. I think it is to soon to completely rub their noses in the sand. I do have one friend that was smart and he has no worries. He went to work for Exxon right after graduating Diesel College as an offshore rig mechanic. He made $85,000.00 a year but was smart enough to squirrel back money for his and his family's future. When they cut his wages he continued to work because he was already more than comfortable after making big bucks for 23 years. I spoke with him last week and he is getting ready to retire and his pension checks each month will be more the most middle class people make in 3 months and he will get one every month. Problem with most folks that get as lucky as he did, they think it will last forever and don't save like he did.............jmho

The Video was pretty short so hard to actually get a real good idea. Let me ask you this. I'm sure the boat has a speedometer in it that is power driven by water pressure. If that hose has separated which it connects to the motor in that area it could be the issue and pumping water into cowling because it has come loose from the lower unit. Also if you have a water pressure gauge in the dash you also have a water line that runs pretty much in same location and if it has come loose from motor it can also allow water to come out of cowling. To have that much water coming from the engine block itself such as head gasket or cracked head or block motor would not run well at all. I always like to begin with the simple stuff first and that is the things I would look at first and go from there. Reason I say this is I have a Yamaha and I experienced both of those issues and they were simple to fix and cost about 5 bucks. If you can, take the boat down to a boat ramp and remove cowling and start motor and look for water leaks. Just back the boat far enough to get motor totally submerged. You should be able to do that without taking it off the trailer. Another way you can check it at home is to purchase a pair of Muffs that fit over water pick up on lower unit. Hook to hose pipe at house and remove cowling turn on water to muffs with cowling off start motor once you have water at lower unit and watch for water leaks from anywhere other than pee hole. If it is a water pressure gauge it should have a leak on the engine block at a water port and could be a broken rubber hose. If it is not actually leaking water into cowling but in the area in the video my guess is the Speedometer hose is leaking. The pick up for that is located in a small hole in the foot of the lower unit in front side. It will not leak while on muffs or on trailer because it requires pressure from lake water as you are moving forward. If you have any questions feel free to PM me and I will send you my phone number and you can call me..................

Just thought I would ask how many Bass anglers may be on TGO? Reason I am asking is I have a hobby that includes making an assortment of Hand poured soft plastic baits and I sell them to anglers to help cover the cost of materials so I can make more. I use to do a lot more of it than I do now but just wanted to let folks know that if they are interested in using some great soft plastic Bass Catching Magnets I make some. I also make Bass Jigs and Floatin Flies. If anyone maybe interested you can PM me for more information. bersayguy

VA GOP Stage Legislators prepare to strike back...
bersaguy replied to leroy's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I really would like to see just how many times you would see them out in public if they lose their armed protection. I bet they would not leave the house. Most of them are not like Trump who has his own security. He was offered secret service protection for him and Carson a while back but only after he had to ask for it. Trump just said that he will use his own security and just bill the Federal Government each month for his security. Kind of sounds like Trump might not trust the Secret Service huh?......................... ...............jmho -
Texas gears up for new open-carry handgun law

This is a big game of Russian Roulette being played by both the American oil companies and the OPEC nations. Back in the 1970's when OPEC put the Embargo in place and brought our country to it's knees there were no options on the table but to pay the price. Well it's payback time and now we are an Energy Independent Country and don't have to depend on OPEC and now it is them sucking the dry teats. You can bet that OPEC would love to see our fracking businesses fail but because they have the backing or our big major oil companies they will never shut down but just slow down and remain vigil in case OPEC tries to run new games. For those of ya'll that are not aware of it the oil that is in the franking fields was discovered back in the early 1950's. It was decided that because they at the time could buy oil from OPEC for 10.00 a barrel than they could extract it that they would just set on it till a later date and continue buying from OPEC. Now as to why the American Oil companies waited till 5 or 6 years ago to go after that oil, I have no idea. They knew where it was and how big it was. It was said to have a lake of oil larger than all of Saudi Arabia and several other OPEC nations combined. My only guess is the American oil companies were enjoying the very large record profits during all those years of high oil prices. I do know that we need to not get to comfortable with this because I don't look for it to last. Someone is going to burst the bubble, it is just a matter of when....................jmho

This works for sure. Back when I was growing up I had Beagle hounds and so did a buddy of mine. If it got dark and one of our dogs was out of hearing distance of our whistles if it was his dog he would take off his teen shirt and hang it near a tree base and every time we went back the next morning the dog would be laying on the shirt or very close by and would come running to us. We use that trick for years and to this day he still hunts with beagles and he has still had to use that trick a few times....................

Tennessee politicians have always loved a gas tax and will try for one every chance they get. This is just another attempt to screw the Tennesseans out of more hard earned money for their pork fat pet projects...............jmho

I have not purchased any thing since the store opened in Tennessee but back before when I ordered from Buds in Louisville I didn't have to pay sales tax to the FFL. Only fee for the transaction and back ground check. I think now that Buds has come to Tennessee you are required to pay the sales tax, transaction fee and back ground check but not totally sure.............

Just an observation about hunting and fishing licenses...
bersaguy replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I have a lifetime hunting and fishing license combo in my billfold right now. I have bought one every year till I retired and got my lifetime for 10 bucks. It was always a combo license which didn't bother me because at the time I was doing both. But with that said many of my friends that don't do both always complained about it. -
He is just trying to sway voters and gun owners to his bid for the White House. I think most folks can see that and most gun owners won't be falling for it. I honestly don't know for sure that folks can trust any of those running on GOP ticket to actually support the 2nd Amendment as they say they will. I have not seen the NRA actually come out and say anything about any of them directly yet...............jmho We all know where Hildebeast stands so no need to go there. ..............JMHO

Just an observation about hunting and fishing licenses...
bersaguy replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I also have always thought that you should be able to purchase a Hunting License or a Fishing license separately but in Tennessee as long as I can remember it has always been a combo license. In most states you can purchase one or the other but not here. I know many people that fish and do not hunt and vice- a-versa..............jmho -
That is strange because every place I went over the last couple days folks told me Merry Christmas. Walgreens, Walmart, Krogers, Lowe's and a couple more places...........And Yes, JESUS is the reason for the season and we should keep CHRIST in Christmas...........JMHO
