So 3 shots were fired. Place is on lock down. No reports of deaths or injuries? So you would think by now there would be some kind of update.  Does not really sound like active shooter since only 3 shots were heard. Anyone heard any updates yet?

Because my doctor is not connected to any other medical facility and has an all female staff she thought it appropriate to put all of her employees through an extensive training course which she paid for and also paid for all of their HCP's. She knows that because her office is a free standing facility that it is also a target for some dope heads that thinks they may have drugs on the premises. She actually holds drills after hours and every employee knows what their job will be should an incident take place. I feel very safe while I am at my doctors office. We have had long talks over the years regarding this issue. She is also totally against drug companies practicing medicine without a license by being allowed to advertise on Television. She has refused to fill any prescriptions that a patient  walks into her office and requests until she has examined the patient thoroughly to be sure the drug will actually benefit that patient. She will also explain every side effect that the medication can cause to make sure the patient is aware that there are many side effects now days in medications that can be far worse then the help they might give. I see new stuff advertised every day on TV. If a person suffered from an ingrown toenail the side effects many times can cause death. That is crazy stupid. I love my doctor......................... :bowrofl:

Depending on her mental state finding her child shot and bleeding and later dying because of her stupidity might be all the punishment she needs. If she loves her children enough, just knowing what she did by being stupid may be punishment enough. With that said, it is still under investigation by DHS and believe me those people can dish out some very serious punishment. I have witnessed it first hand and it's ugly...........jmho

  yep and that is why I make the drive. Great doctors and staffs are very hard to find and when you find one you hold onto them forever...........jmho

You never leave 4 kids in a car with a gun in a purse because most likely the kids all have seen her put the gun in her purse more than once and why does it take 2 people to go into a business to pay a bill? One should have stayed with the children. I have to agree with Caster on this one..........Very sorry for the children that were involved as this will stay with them forever.........jmho

My doctor has never ask if I own a gun because when I go to her office I am wearing one. She has a free standing office not connected to any medical facility and she has a complete female staff. She said it is none of the Governments business what her patients medical records are and she still practices Doctor/Patient Confidentiality. My essay would be a copy of the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution which gives me the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and no where in it does it state that I must write no essay and no where in it does it state that I must go through any class that costs 1100.00 bucks to have that right. I am quite sure this will be challenged in court very soon if it has not been already.............jmho

Here is my essay: I am granted the Right to Keep and Bear Arms by the United States Constitution 2nd Amendment. It does not say I am required to write an essay to be granted that right. It does not say that I need to pay $1,100.00 to attend a class to obtain the right to bear arms. I am not a convicted felon and am not wanted by the law for any crimes against any city, county, state or Federal authority but I am a law biding citizen. Therefore I expect that I be given my Rights as expressly written in the Constitution Bill of Rights by WE THE PEOPLE. The End..............  

Back when I worked I dealt with the public every day because I owned the auto repair business. I never had an altercation that would have escalated this far with any customer. If it began to go south I would make gestures that would take things down to another level and I don't think I ever lost a customer that left unhappy. If I did I don't remember it. Customers were to hard to come by to risk losing one over something trivial. Bite the bullet, take the loss to keep the customer.  When I began making baits for the public I have shipped baits all over the eastern U.S. and if a customer was not happy with any baits I shipped I would make them new ones and send them N/C. Many times without asking I would get another check from the customer for about half the price to cover my expenses. Keeping a customer happy is not hard if you are willing to exert a little effort...............jmho

  I very much admire you for your decision to allow the lady to have the space. That shows the kind of person you are which is what we need more of in this world...........MHO!!!!

Hand poured baits!!!    I thought I would explain a few things about hand poured baits that many anglers may not know about. There are not a lot of hand pour bait makers left because companies like Zoom, Culprit Net Baits and a couple others not counting the generic companies making baits for Bass Pro soft bait products flooded the market to make it so easy to just walk into a store and purchase a bag or two of you favorite baits and go fishing. What sets the hand pour baits apart from the store bought baits is they  are softer, float a lot high in the water columns and fish will hold on to them a lot longer before spitting them out. Also a hand pour bait maker can custom pour colors you want and not just what a store has to offer. yea, hand poured baits cost a few pennies more but they make it up in how many fish they put in the boat.    How many times have you walked into a tackle store and saw your favorite bait color is sold out because you and 25+ other guys are using that same bait. After a while with the fish seeing the same thing day in day out the bass begin to turn off to it.    That my friends is exactly why I began making my own baits 18 years ago. I kept them close to my heart for almost 10 years and was winning more and more tournaments with my baits because other folks didn't have them. It was not until I had about quit competing that I began selling them to fellow anglers. Oh yea, don't be fooled by those baits you see hanging on bait bag hooks in stores that claim to be hand poured. They are injected baits made by robots.   You can hold one of my baits and one of their baits in your hand and you will be able to see and tell the difference. Also you cannot get your own private color made by them unless you order a run of 10,000 baits.    That's about all I can tell you about hand poured baits except they work and they catch fish. It's all up to the angler to give them a try.       Good luck and keep your lines wet as often as possible!!!!!

2 people dead and 2 people seriously injured over a $25 fee for a gun repair is just ridiculous. What in the world is happening to the way people think these days. I do realize that people have killed for a lot less but this is not a reason for anyone to die or be shot over.............jmho  

  I am glad to hear you placed her with a good new owner since she couldn't fit in with your pack. Now as far as her eating a lot and not gaining weight. That is not unusual for Hounds. The larger hounds like Blue Ticks, Red bones and other ones are seldom fat like most folks expect dogs to be since they eat so much. It's in their metabolism not to gain weight.  To see a fat larger hound is very rare regardless of how much they are fed. I know because I use to have both breeds on our ranch and we fed them a ton of food and never had a fat one. Just a tidbit of information about hounds..................... :cheers:

I have several friends with Foresters and they all brag about them in weather like this and they get decent fuel mileage.........Have never owned one but just talk among friends............... :cheers: 

I used to hate snow except when I had my Ramcharger and then it was fun. I use to go out and play in it back then. Now it does not bother me because I don't have to get out in it as I am retired. Had a buddy cal me yesterday and ask me if I needed anything as his wife is sending him out for a few things. He picked up what I needed and dropped it off but he has a monster 4X4 truck so was like a walk in the park for him............... :cheers:

I am a Seenager. (Senior teenager)     I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 60 years later. I don't have to go to school or work. I get an allowance every month. I have my own pad. I don't have a curfew. I have a driver's license and my own car. I have ID that gets me into bars and the wine store.  I like the wine store best.       The people I hang around with are not scared of getting pregnant, they aren’t scared of anything, they have been blessed to live this long, why be scared and I don't have acne. Life is Good! Also, you will feel much more intelligent after reading this, if you are a Seenager.    Brains of older people are slow because they know so much. People do not decline mentally with age, it just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains, scientists believe this also makes you hard of hearing as it puts pressure on your inner ear.  Much like a computer struggles as the hard drive gets full, so too, do humans take longer to access information when their brains are full.  Also, older people often go to another room to get something and when they get there, they stand there wondering what they came for.  It is NOT a memory problem, it is nature's way of making older people do more exercise.                                                     SO THERE!!    I have more friends I should send this to, but right now I can't remember their names.  So, please forward this to your friends; they may be my friends, too.
