  1. Abbott and Costello in their skit "Who's on First"? is what it reminds me of.  As far as Obama not being able to figure out a way to defeat ths enemy. It is not his job to defeat them. It is his job to put the right people in charge of beating them but he is not even smart enough to do that. I bet when they moved into teh White House they ahd to put maps on all the walls so he and Mchelle could find their way around in the place...............jmho
  2. If you can't say anythng nice about Dolomite Supafly you better just not say anything at all. He is one of the most respected and helpful members on this site so I would suggest you take your attitude and go someplace else...........  .............MY NOT SO HUMBLE OPINION!!!!
  3. I find it strange that anyone that might go against something Clintons want or do people die. Witness in White Water case all at once comits suicide in a park 2 days before he is scheduled to testify about White Water. Then while Secretary Of State the people in Bengahzi keep requesting more security and the requests by Steves get ignored and it comes out that Hillary and Stevens hada few views they didn't agree on and Now Justice Scalia stood in the way of many things they wanted to get pushed through the Supreme Court and the only one actually standing in their way was Scalia and dies suddenly and no autopsy is performed to find out cause of death. Just to many unexplained issues to trust the Clintons at any level.......jmho
  4. I found the pictures of the Boat and spoke with Son In law and he said he tested how long it would take for all the lights to drain the one 12 volt battery. He said he left them on for almost 7 days, day and night and on the 7th night they were still very bright but you could see a difference. Now that is also taking into effect the 12 volt battery was fully charged but is also taking into the fact the Battery is also 3 years old too. 5. I had my son in law puy led lighting on my Skeeter Bass boat last Winter and I was shocked to see how much light those LED light strips can produce. If I can find pictures of the boat lit up I will post them. These are 12 volt lights and we decided to test them for draw on the 12 volt boat battery to see how long they would last at night. They were just as bright on night 5 as they were on night 1 and they were running all day also. Now if I can find the pictures they do have different colored lights but the only ones we had lit for the test was the white lights.
  6. The press is getting tired of covering the elections and just looking for something else they think is news. Things like this have been going on for years and was never mentioned till now.  It is just something the News people thought would ruffle the feathers of the American people but it did'nt work........jmho
  7. I have been buying my tires at Discount Tire for many years and I can take my Jeep in about every 5000 miles and get free tire rotation and balance for life of the tires. I can also go there about any time and they will check my tire pressure and correct it to proper inflation. They keep mine at 35 PSI. I had my first flat tire in many years the other day. It was a slow leak so I inflated it and took it to them. They said it was time for rotate and balance and they fixed the flat for free. Great people to do business with...........jmho
  8. I hope not. Sounds like the kid threw a bunch of hot lead at the guy so the kid was not being shy about protecting his home.
  9. Mine expires in June 2018. I will just do a normal renewal since by then I will be 70 years young. Would not benefit me to go lifetime..........jmho
  10. Great catch for sure. I do know they are somewhat rare and not found in very many places. They are kin to the Red Ear Sunfish better known as Shell Crackers. The Bull males in the Shell Crackers also turn very black during the spawn and guarding the beds. I love to catch Shell Crackers during the spawn but I don't keep any females or any smaller males. I will keep one if it is close to 1.5 to 2 pounds and will filet easy. I think they taste better than Crappie..........jmho on the taste. If my Son in law gets day off soon we will go looking for a big Shell Cracker bed and get some good eating.........
  11. Mother said the same guy had burglarized their home in the past???? If that was true was he arrested the first time? I bet he won't be going back to that house a 3rd time. I hope the boy does not get in any trouble for shootin at the bad guy when he was running away and threat was over. If I was a judge I would give the boy a medal for taking the stand................jmho
  12. The ignition switch would not have caused the speedo to drop and motor to revve up. The ignition switch would have killed the engine. Let me ask you a question. Has the Check Engine light came on or flickerd and then gone back off at all. If you problem is anything related to a sensor of any type that is controlled to the electronic system of the truck that Check engine light should eiter come on and stay on or come on and stay a few seconds and then may go back off. Even if only on a few seconds it will put a code in the computer that caused the light to come on. Oreilly's will scan the computer for you for free. Find out what codes the computer throws out and it may help you narrow down your problem...............jmho   My offer is still open if you want me to ask my son what he thinks.
  13. About 3 years ago I had a buddy of mine put motion lights on my house and I feel much better now. I have 2 that light up my carport light daylight and 6 pairs that are all around my house and no one can get with in 40 feet of my house without tripping a light on. And if they try to move move in about any direction they will trip more lights. He came back about a week later and installed a door bell inside the house that rings if the lights are tripped. I learned one thing shortly after the lights were installed. I live in town about a 1-1/2 miles from main shopping area and Walmart and I have deer that live in the fence row behind my house. I was wondering why all the corn and food I was putting out for the rabbits was dissappearing so quick!! Now I know................
  14. He is now in Panic mode do to running out of time..................
  15. Damn dpuble post...................................... :wall:
  16. You have to admit one thing , she is one determind scammer for sure................ :bowrofl:
  17. Well, my buddy didn't have that issue because he was not driving a company truck but his own rig and the company Bel-Tex Corporation was thrilled with his actions and he didn't lose a 45 foot bullnosed trailer which also belonged to my friend along with Bel-Tex livestock on board. All I can say from what I learned back then. He was pulled over in rest area catching up his log book when he felt the truck cab shake. He looked to the right and saw a guy with a small caliber gun pointing it at him and he looked at his side and there was a guy with a long knife. He had his dirty Harry 44 in a sleeve beside his seat. He had his hand on it when he felt the cab shake. He brought out the gun and shot the guy with the gun in the face first  through the glass and shot the guy on his door in the gut through the door as the guy was jumping down and shot one more coming at him as he got out of the truck and pickup truck took off. he hit the 3rd guy center mass dead in the chest with 1 round. The only one that survived was the one he shot through the door with the knife. The dumb butt running at him had a tire iron from the PU truck. Insurance paid all the repairs to his Long Nosed KW (Kenworth tractor). All I can say is the guys picked the wrong truck.   I still visit my ole friend once in a while down on his ranch in Cheatham county when I am down that way. If I call and let him know I am coming he has grand kids go gig a bunch of Frogs and catch some big Shell Crackers out of one of the Ranch lakes and we have a feast.
  18. That was pretty cool but with mine I don't have to make contact with the perp. I can be as far as 10 feet away and light them up. And if they don't go down on first contact I can just press the button and get them another jolt.  I would be nice and give them a chance to get face down and wait for the :cop: but that would be their decision from that point forward................. :pleased:
  19. I have a buddy that drove his own personal 18 wheeler and hauled Livestock from Tennessee to Texas rwice a month. There was an attempted hi jacking of his truck and load  just outside Texarcana Texas one night while he was pull off in a rest area. It went bad for the bad guys with 3 shot, 2 dead and one got away in a pickup truck. No charges were ever filed against my friend. There had been several hi jackings of live stock rigs in that area with 1 driver killed and the Sheriff in that jurisdiction almost wanted to pin a medal on my buddy but knew better of it. Now with that said , My friend was drivng his own personal rig with his own insurance and was hauling livestock for Beltex Corporation in Texas  and the families of the bad guys did try and sue him but judges in Texas through all the cases out. This has been 10+ years ago also.
  20. I would hope I am never faced with another issue like I had back when they tried to raid my Bass Boat of about 8,000.00 worth of high end rods and reels and I don't know that I could kill a person over them since I do have them insured but if I had a tazer and my gun I would like to at least light one of them up light up like 4th of July................jmho
  21. I have a buddy that lives with his entire extended family on a mountain in North Carolina and the family owns the entire mountain and he said if I can make it there for me to come on. Every road on the moutain is named after a family member.  When it looks like it is close to happening I will relocate to NC. All my family have the location and they are all welcome also. These plans were made several years ago and my friend and I speak often about it..................
  22. I use to get emails from TGO when I would have a PM from a member but I have not got them in a couple months now...............
  23. LOL, that almost makes me wish I would have had a tazer when those guys were trying to steal my fishing rods out of my boat. I would have wanted to light one of them up and watched him flop around on the floor like a fish out of water.................. :dirty:
  24. I had a buddy run up on a great deal on tazers about two months ago and he bought me one. It is very similar to the ones used by the police. What are the laws regarding the use of one of those in the event you would catch a perp stealing your property and you light him/her up?
  25. Very sorry to read this Bigun. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family for your loss.....................
