I heard later a few days after the Coup attempt that one of the jets had Erdogan's plane in his sites and had Missle Lock but did not fire. If this was not a plan designed by the government why did the jet pilot not fire. Because he was actually protecting the plane so they could land and shooting down the Helicopters that were firing on the government buildings and the jets were shooting them down. ............................

I have a friend that has a Mossberg 500 and he loves it. I have an Emperor and I love it. It has a Breacher Choke tube and has a very impressive pattern at 50 feet with 3 inch magnum BB rounds.

I expect many of them have seen it and probably wish it didn't exist because it puts their beliefs in a very bad light. I have noticed above all other things the people screaming the loudest about gun control are the ones that are surrounded by men and women packing guns to protect them so they don't have to worry about protection. You can bet if they didn't have the protection they do they would all be packing a gun and not be screaming that we as Americans should not have guns. If all of the men/women setting in plush comfy offices that own all these places they have made into killing fields had to work in them they would not be gun free zones. They don't mind risking the lives of the people making $7.50 an hour in a pizza store or working on the floor waiting tables for customers in a resturant, Working in a factory where some disgruntled employee gets fired and goes home and gets gun and comes back to take his rage out on employees that never did a thing to that person. Movie Theater Company owners don't care about charging $12.50 to $15.00 to go into one of their businesses to enjoy a movie but do care that you can protect yourself while in there so they don't allow you to be armed even though you have a legal permit that says you can carry a firearm. Or Students in a school or college where some board of directors does not set foot in desides that the students and teachers are expendible. As long as these Gun Free Zones (Killing Fields) exist and remain soft targets this will be an issue!..............jmho

That is my concern more than any other of this entire election is the Supreme Court. It can destroy our Constitution and alter Americans total way of life begining with the 2nd Amendment. That alone should be enough to bring out every Republican, Conservative, Independent and even some Democrats that are firearms owners to swing vote away from the DNC. That is also a good point by several that have mentioned we need to also make sure we cast votes that will help us remain in control of the House and Senate. This is the election that is more about our childrens futures than ours. All I can ask is what kind of future do you want for your children and grandchildren?................jmho

One thing is for sure. He has probably shot about everything in your safe and is bound to have a favorite and is already more than familiar with any one in the safe. It can be his first gun plus given to him by his father and can become an heirloom all at the same time..............jmho

I think they are waiting till they know Trump will be there which will be tonight and tomorrow night. Tonight he is suppose to have some type of rally outside the Arena but inside the secure zone. I am guessing that is when all hell will break loose...........jmho

Prayers to yet another family of a fallen LEO in the line of duty. I think the police are going to have to send numerous cars to 911 calls regarding things like Drive by shootings and domestic violence calls. They are apparantly using to for ambush calls. If several cars respond it might discourage the ambushes some.............jmho

I carry while in my Skeeter every time I am on the water and have been checked several times by TWRA for safety equipment and I open carry in the boat and TWRA has never asked for my carry permit or said a word about me being armed. So I cannot say either way about boats by law but I feel if I was breaking any laws the Game Watdens would have surely brought it to my attention or arrested me...............jmho

I have a bad feeling that the headlines are not going to be what is going on inside the Convention Center but what is going on out side. They say they have enough police but do they have enough Ambulances, Paramedics and Emergency room beds available. I hope I'm wrong but I think they might need at least 5 MASH units put on site with military doctors that know how to treat bullet wounds..........JMHO

Prayers for the families of the Police Officers that lost their lives in Baton Rouge this morning and also to the families of the wounded. I don't think this is going to end soon or well. I will stand on the side of the police every time and I have had my share of discussions over my 68 years with them. Yea, there was a few that I felt could have been more professional. I also realize they are not delivering PIzza's or working at Mickey D's. They are putting their lives on the line every time a 911 call comes in or every time they see a crime being committed. If it ever came down to whose back I would have you can bet it will be the Police Officers every time.........jmho

Other than telling Americans to stay in doors I think he should have not said anything politically one way or the other. He has made enemies either way by voicing his opinion for the people to fight for the democratically elected party when many people in Turkey know that the Government is turning into a dicatatorship and helpless to do anything about it....................JMHO

For the most part this was all staged IMO and was never a real coup. A coup never takes place while the leader and Prime Minister is out of the country because they are the ones the Coup leaders want to catch and hold onto and they all knew they were out of the country. It was said that the Coup had control of both airports yet his plane was able to land without incident. The leader of Turkey is trying to re write the Constitution of Turkey and make it an Islamic country. All the Mosques were contacted and told to get all of their people into the streets to resist the Coup. With in minutes 1000's of people were filling the streets. It was said that the population of Turkey is about 50/50 Turkish / Islamic not counting the 1000's of refugees at the border. Either way this is not going to be good for America.............jmho

That is funny for sure,,,,,,,,,, Reminds me of a couple guys that I ran into one time down and the Narrows of the Harpeth River back many years ago. They would not believe me when I told them that they could float a day float with one vehicle. Most folks float from bridge to bridge and need to use 2 vehicles. If you launch just above the Narrows and tie your boat off and drive over the hill and park at the lower end of the Narrows you can use 1 vehicle. You get about a 10 mile river float yet it is only about 3/4 mile by road. They said that I didn't know what I was talking about but I had made that float a 100 times at night catching catfish on the sholls. The river does not go in a circle but is does wind around so many bends that it is about 10 miles of river to go 3/4 mile by road.............lol

If someone is about to assault me and possibly kill or harm me or a loved one I will at that point become Judge, Jury and executioner and do everything in my power to protect me and mine from harm..............jmho

They are also driving white SUVS with Black wheels and heavy smoked windows. Saw two of them pull up at Gallatin PD last week and 8 suits got out and went in. I asked a police buddy if that was TBI and he said nope FBI...............

I have been looking for a back up magazine for my model 85 Bersa and could not find one. A buddy of mine had an extra Bersa Plus magazine and he gave it to me since he no longer had his Plus Bersa. I took it to a buddy of mine that does work on guns and asked him to look at the original mag and the plus mag and see what the difference was. After a really close comparison he came to the conclusion that the lock slot was the only difference. He modifed the Plus maganzine and added a slot to it so it would lock into the Mod 85. We just got back from the range and the new modified magazine worked flawlessly after 60 rounds with zero issues. It even held the action open after last round was fired. Bersa told me that the Bersa Plus magazine would not work and they were correct, but with one minor alteration it worked just fine. Wanted ro share this with any one that owns a Model 85 and has been looking for a back up magazine.

Have never put a lot of faith in polls because about 90% of the time they are slanted to who ever is taking the poll.........jmho

I think a lot of what is driving the costs up it the amount of Doctors that are opting out of the ACA and the doctors that are staying are charging triple plus for services. I honestly don't see how people can be expected to pay the premiums when they have to pay a $3,000.00+ deductible before the ACA plan pays a dime. I have one friend down in SC that has a $5,000.00 on each him and his wife and pays 690.00 a month premiums. Before the ACA he was paying 425.00 a month and had a $1000.00 deductible. he cannot find a doctor near him that takes the ACA at all.

I think that had a lot to do with it, plus over the past couple years about 4 or 5 more pawn shops opened up in Gallatin making business thin out some. They said anything that does not sell will be moved to their Smithville store. Sam has taken over the entire lower section and gun range for his gunsmithing and gun building and using the range for private use only. Will not be open to the public.
