Yea, I know, I grew up in the Cold War Era and had an air raid Shelter in our back yard. I remember my father and a few neighbors building it. Everyone on our road had one and all the neighbors took turns helping each other build them. My mother would rotate food and water and other supplies out monthly and use what was in it and replace it with new stuff. I know cause I was the one that got suck helping because I was the youngest. In mid 50's they would show tests blasts on atomic bombs and they said even back then that they could kill people 100 miles away if not in a shelter. I'm sure the blasts of today would make those back then look like a Black Cat fire cracker today. I figure if the first one is every fired it is the end of time anyway because we all know everyone that has any will shoot them at someone they don't like. It says in the Bible that the earth will be destroyed by fire and I figure that will be it. I don't claim to be a Biblical Scholar by any means but know certain things my mother taught me as a kid and it stuck with me. They had the Flood!! Is it time for us to have the fire?? I don't know but hope I am worthy at least. I have never feared death as much as life anyway.....................JMHO Kind of strange making this in response to a member whose screen name refers to the end. I saw on the news last night that 2 of the big motel chains were not going to be honoring many reservations people made back in January because they got bought and changed the names to the new ownership and did not have to honor any of them. My guess is the new owners are going to jack up the rates of their new locations to double and rent them to new customers. I have not heard if they are even going refund anyones money yet...........Sounds like a major scam to me and I think they should have honored the original reservations.................JMHO

I have heard several military and several ex military personnel say that even though NK has the missiles they are not sure at all that they have the capablilities to actually guide them to a definate target yet. They did admit that they are not 100% sure they can't but with the way they have been sending up it seems like they don't have their guidence down yet................

I've sort of come to the conclusion that lower Broadway is a chariacture of everything. Nothing you see there is authentic Lower Broadway is trying very hard to be a small Gatlinburg cause nothing in Gatlinburg is authentic either. It's all for the tourists cause most of them don't know any different................JMHO

Thye probably get kick backs from the City for calling them because the TSA is in fact a Federal Security Agency and can make the decision with out contacting anyone. But then of Course "IT IS NEW YORK" we are talking about..............jmho

Even if I didn't have my welding helmet I wouldn't rush out and get any glasses because knowing Tennessee weather. It will probably be cloudy and raining across the state and 1,000 upon 1,000's of folks traveling here will get wet and see nothing..........JMHO

I wonder how many folks are going to receive eye damage by getting the wrong glasses? If I bother to watch it which I probably won't I will still use my grade 14 welding helmet...............

I could park 15 cars in my parking area in front of my house and they could go out it my back yard and have a great view of the eclipse. I'm just not much on having strangers in my driveway much less my back yard..................

They must not know my address but I do get a ton of phone calls from numbers I don't recognize so I let them go to voice mail but they never leave a message so figure they are scams. Friends would leave voice mails if they got a new phone number...................

I have used Triple K several times to get magaznes made for older model semi's I could not find any place else. Great company with good prices and workmanship.

Those pot metal frames made them way to light and weak and that is why they kicked so hard. The new one I got back didn't kick quit as much but was about 2 lbs heavier also.

Yea, I know and mine is 14. I checked on it to make sure in case I did change my mind but doubt I will. Things like this does not excite me that much..............
