From what I read in another article as soon as he was confronted by another person with a gun he tried to kill himself. Typical coward as are most all these types of thugs. The second they are confronted by another gun they pop themselves.............

I don't see any thing to be sad about 516. The Deacons/members are just keeping the flock of sheep safe from harm. Every flock should have at least 1 or 2 Sheep Dogs...........JMHO

I am not a person that attends church often but very strong believer in the Father, Son and Prayer and if I did attend a church I would definately be armed. I would be one of the Sheep Dogs guarding the flock for sure. Prayers being sent for those church members.

For the most part I think the so called War on Drugs is a joke. The only part of this so called war is being taken out on the law abiding citizens that actually do need the medications for real pain and going to real doctors for help. The actual Street Drugs of Meth, Crack, Cocaine and Heroin where the war should be is slim to none!! Oh yea they bust the street corner pushers and lock them up and before they get them to the police station another one takes his place on the corner. When they actually declare War on Drugs they will take down the people that are supplying the street corner salesmen. Another thing I don't understand is we are suppose to have a War on Drugs in this country and there are states that are legalizing them!!!!! I guess those states have figured out it is easier to join the drug cartels than it is to fight them???? Yea, I know it's just Marijuana some will say but what is next???

I'm sorry that you suffer from chronic pain and I was not speaking about people that actually get the medication and use it for pain. People that have pain definately should be able to receive it. I think the states idea of forcing people to see a Psychologist is totally rediculous. Do they think the guy can talk away your pain? I think the state never makes the correct decision on anyones health situation and need to leave that between the doctor and patient. The more the states and laws crack down on the people that actually need the medications your going to see stuff like Meth, Cocaine and Heroin becoming more popular. The reason they come down on people that really need the medicine is because it is easier to put the pressure on doctors and patients than to hunt down the major drug cartels and stop the much more deadly drugs from getting on street corners for sale. I'm glad you were able to find a pain clinic that is actually concerned about a patients pain. I am sorry your having to jump through all those stupid hoops due to your pain.

The only problem I see with legalizing it is for the most part much of it is already legal. There are pain clinics on about every corner these days and for the most part they spend 15 minutes with a patient and then hand them a prescription for 100+ Loritabs and set the an appointment for the next month before they leave. I have known about 5 different people that do that and then they hit the street running selling them for 10 + bucks each. All of them have been caught at least 5+ times for selling prescription drugs and get locked up for about a month of two. Then with all the over crowding issues in jails they are back out and doing the same thing over and over. They are not the users but the sellers. When I found out what they were doing I told each one of them to never come to my house ever again and they have not been here again..................

Actually there was a sister gun to the 85 which was the 86 but is completely rare and both the 85 and 86 were replaced by the Thunder Plus. The 85&86 were discontinued in 1994 and the Thunder Plus was introduced in 1995. The only real difference in the 85 and 86 was in the grip. Where the 85 has somewhat squared off grips the 86 had a more rounded grip but not much else. I can't see much difference in the Thunder Plus and the 85's. I think I read that there was about 1 ounce difference in loaded weight and the Thunder had the advantage of being the lighter of the 2. I hunted high and low for a back up magazine and anyone that has them are keeping them. I talked with my gunsmith about the issue. He told me to let him look and see what he could find and asked me if I could leave the 85 with him a couple days so I did. About a week later he called me up and told me to come by when I had time. I stopped in that afternoon. He took me down to the range and he went three 3 different mags one being the original and 2 others that he had purchased and modified just a very little and they worked perfectly just as the original did. They were the Thunder Plus magazines that he altered just a tad to make them work. I went through a box of ammo trying them out myself and paid him and left with now having 3 magazines for my 85.

I don't know if anyone has been following the Holly Bobo Murder trial but it ended today with a guilty verdict on all 8 counts he was charged with and tomorrow the jury tells his sentence which could be death sentence on any one of the first 3 charges. They has zero physical evidence in this case and most of the case was based on testimony of other people connected to the crime and are also going to be charged and tried for the crime and cell phone tower pings of all cell phones involved. It appears that everyone turned snitch to nail Zack Adams to maybe later get to cut a plea deal to avoid the death sentence when they get charged and go to trial. I am not sure about all of that stuff and games they played to get this conviction. Bad guys snitching out other bad guys and testifying in court in a Premetated 1st degree Murder case with death sentence on the line. When ask of the jury if they were familiar with the crime every one of them said yes and they used them anyway. The defense even had 2 TBI agaents say that Zack was not the man that killed Holly Bobo and the jury did not believe the 2 agents but believe the criminals testimonies.................I think the entire judicial system has gone to hell in a handbag. I'm not saying he didn't commit the crime but I do think that the trial was a total farce..................JMHO I might should have put this in the swamp and if it needs to be moved please do so..........

Smoking is my real VICE that I would like to stop and have done it a few times and longest was 6 months about 3 years ago and still cannot tell you why I ever started back!!! I am 69 years old and been smoking 59 of them except for the few times I quit. I asked my doctor about it and her exact reply to me was that I have been smoking so long that she said patches and Chantix and other stuff on the market would most likely fail to help me. She said that most likely those medications might even throw my body in some kind of shock. I have made up my mind that I am going to cut back on them and see if I can go cold turkey one more time and make it happen this time.

Grandson said it was a bow trigger that bow hunters use instead of their fingers to draw the bow back and when they get ready to release the string for the shot they just pull the trigger. He said he as about 3 or 4 different types he uses depending on which bow he is shooting. He also has 3 rattle bags too.

I don't know where else to put these and not much stuff but free to anyone that may want them. The rattle bag has got me a bunch of deer over the years and I have no clue where I got the bow item since I have never been a bow hunter.

I like hot sauce but it does not like me. Once in a while I might add a little Texas Pete to a bowl of white beans but thats about it any more. Back in my younger days Iit was the hotter the better but like all things age does have it's disadvantages and that is one of them for me........

My oldest grandson told me he would be in a tree tomorrow at daylight and hopes to be back at the house by 8 AM. He has three nice bucks on a trail cam that walk right under 1 of his stands every morning about sunrise and he hopes to bag 1 early before the heat gets up.............

Believe me Kasey will not ever get in my tub even if I had a round steak cooked and hanging on the faucet neck of the tub. She will not eat peanut butter period. I got lucky about 10 years ago and got introduced a dog groomer that likes Bass fishing and he will bathe her in trade for fishing baits so once a month she gets a bath and he gets fishing baits............

Since we are discussing Vietnam which by the way I have been watching it and no dreams yet but I thought I would ask folks here if any of ya'll have seen any products made in Vietnam being sold in the U.S.A.? If not or if you have not been looking at tags on clothing you may be buying, there is some being imported and label reads "Made in the Republic of Vietnam" I didn't know that we had trade agreements with them till I was looking at a new Gortex Rain Suit at tackle shop here locally and the third label down it said "Made in Republic of Vietnam". If you own a Gortex Rain suit advertised under the Frogg Togg brand name it was made in Vietnam! I just hung it back up and walked out!

I think China finally took some action against NK yesterday and told banks in China to stop doing business with NK after President Trump spoke the other day. I think they have finally figured out they are no longer dealing with Obama but dealing with some one with large Kahuna's ...............JMHO

I hope if force is required to stop NK that it is done swiftly and decisive and does not require 1 pair of boots on the ground. Can spare as many innocent people as possible. I am not in favor of Collateral Damage when it can be avoided but if it has to happen I would much rather collateral damage be in NK than over here....................JMHO

Probably a good move and when you said your somewhat of a cheapscate if you compare the cost of 4.10 ammo to 12 gauge ammo you will probably save money by going with 12 gauge ammo cost wise. Good quality 4.10 ammo is very costly verses good quality 12 gauge ammo in my opinion..................

I did kill a big bird once when I was kid with my 4.10 and it was Canada Goose that was alone and flying cattail high about the 10 yards above me and I led it as far as I could and destroyed it's head when I fired. Did this while walking back through the swamp behind my house from a duck hunt. Yea, I did hunt ducks with a 4.10 over decoys from a blind when I was kid and would get ducks gliding into decoys 15 yard shots max. Took me a few minutes to find the goose that went down in the reeds and cattails but that was my trophy bird with a 4.10. I have never been turkey hunting so don't know how tough and durable they are but I know most folks do use 12 gauge High Brass loads to hunt them...............JMHO

Another 4+ minutes wasted!!! Did'nt make any sense what so ever............JMHO
