  1. Is there any folks here that own and are still shooting anything with 7.62X25 rounds?
  2. Ok, so picture #1 is gone, picture #2 is gone and picture # 5 is gone!!!!!
  3. Ok so what am I missing here. The bad guy is using a so called assault rifle out side the church and inside the Church. When he is confronted by good guy with gun, good guy says Perp fires at him with a hand gun, no assault rifle? Where did it go? The good guy puts a round through bad guys side between front and back armor injuring bad guy and then fires at least to more shots striking bad guy again. Bad guy gets in vehicles and shoots twice through side glass, Good guy fires 1 more round about head high and side glass shatters and bad guy drives off and pursuit begins. Bad guy calls father while running and says I have been shot and I am going to die, runs off road and then back on road and then wrecks again with good guys right behind him after good guy fires one more round taking out back glass of bad guy vehicle. After wreck there is not any more movement by bad guy. One would assume by phone call to father the bad guy knew he was fatally injured and was going to die. Did i miss anything? It would appear that any coroner could almost upon sight of body determine if the shooter died from self inflicked gun shot wound. Are the authorities trying to protect the good guy and say that he did not infact kill the bad guy or are they trying to hide the fact that a good guy with a gun killed a bad guy with a gun? Especially a gun that the "LEFT" claims Americans should not own and don't need to own as self defense weapons?????
  4. Pm me your address!
  5. I know that my situation was different the gun stores but back when I operated my auto repair center back years ago. They broke into my shop 4 times in 2 months. 1st time they got some high end tools and second time they got some high end testing equipment. I was lucky enough to have the testing equipment located in a pawn shop by police and returned to me. 3rd time this got that same equipment plus a few other pieces of equipment. All the tool boxes where chained to the walls and locked up so they weren't able to get any hand tools but I got tired of getting broke into and I had a few metro police officers that raded with me and I got one of them that wanted to make a few extra bucks to baby sit my shop a couple nights a week and he would sit up in a hill in a parking lot watching the shop. Well the 4th night he was there they showed up and he called for back up and he would down with a shotgun and when back up arrived he already had the 3 bad guys sitting on their hands in the parking lot of my shop. After that night I posted a sign that read Off Duty Police officer is security 3 nights a week, You pick the nights!! Never got broken into again. Ended up costing me $350.00 bucks paying him but ended my problems.
  6. With the clothing the crooks are wearing an actual ID is next to impossible so unless someone turns them in that knows who they are this will be another unsolved break in unless the guns show up in a crime.........JMHO
  7. I agree with some of the video but not all of it. He mentioned to make sure your members that carry have the same training as law enforcement. In all honesty I think any person that spends as much time at ranges as folks do here can probably shoot more accurately then many LEO's so asking them to have LEO training is a non starter in many cases........JMHO. I had a friend stop in today that attends a small church here in Gallatin and he and several friends of his that also attend the church and on any given Sunday there are 5 to 7 armed and trained people attending the service. Several of them are Vets and they have sent up a code word similar to the Secret Service. The congregation all know the code word is "GUN" that is announced loudly by who ever sees the possible shooter and everyone in the church knows to get down below the pughs to gain cover while the security people confront the shooter. They actually do drills to make sure everyone responds just like fire drills when we were kids in school. The security people are not all in same location but in different areas so they can see most all the members of the church. He said they began doing this almost 2 years ago and the entire congregation is in approval.
  8. Look how many thousands of peoples names got put on that NO FLY List that should not have been on it and they still have not got that fixed yet!!!!
  9. Late last night I was watching Fox before going to bed and it was aid a couple times that the good guy with a gun had a gun just like the bad guys gun so so depending on what kind of round was found to have killed the bad guy they should be able to determine if the good guy killed him cause he left his bad guy rifle at the scene of the church. If they find the good guy did it we will probably never know it............JMHO
  10. Evidently the perp was not thinking like a Texan and not expecting a church neighbor to open fire on him either............JMHO
  11. Ok send it in a PM.
  12. I will send you everything in picture #2 but you pay the shipping. The stuff is free but the shipping ain't...........LOL!!
  13. It would appear from what the news conference confirmed the local resident engaged the perp and evidently the perp was not expecting it and sounds like if he dropped his rifle I would say he was hit hard by the local resident. The resident persued and the perp crashed and was dead at the scene of the crash. Sounds like the local resident may have fire the fatal shot at the church and perp died trying to flee and then his vehicle crashed............JMHO
  14. Prayers go out to all the folks affected by this terrible act and the community as a whole as in such a small community everyone will be affected somehow someway. Not going to try and offer up any solutions how to prevent things like this from happening................
  15. Since I was a meat hunter a lot more than a trophy hunter back in the day I would have taken that 6 pointer and went to the house. If I am going to hunt in these type of weather conditions and there is meat on the hoof and in good range meat is going home with me. I sure hope I get a chance to test drive that new 243 on a 6 pointer on opening day of gun.........JMHO
  16. I have no clue what some of this stuff is and other stuff is just something I think someone may have a use for and maybe someone collects old ammo empty boxes. There are also a few ammo cans too.
  17. Thank you and very very sorry to read about Rosco. Maybe Rosco and Kasey will run and play together at the Rainbow Bridge!!
  18. Wish I had a couple Cap pistols and Squirt guns to take down there and get some gift cards!!!!
  19. I am very very sorry for your loss as I just experienced this a week ago and if you would have been there you would have seen a 69 year old man crying like a baby. I know how bad it hurts. RIP Rosco...................
  20. I totally agree Mike!! They both have allowed so many Islamic people into the country that if not another one was allowed in there are already enough here for things like yesterday or worse to take place for many many years to come. I have come to the conclusion we will see this happen more and more as Trump tries to end ISIS! They are showing a desperation now to inflicked as much harm as they can before the lose the power transform and recruit more home grown terrorists....................jmho
  21. I wonder how long that party is going to last or remain on same thought trail when they begin losing family members or close friends to a couple of the people they wanted to be welcomed into the country with open arms and hugs. Suicide belts are not selective on targets, Maniacs driving trucks up on side walks killing people are not selective on targets! If this political party thinks it won't happen to them they are beyond stupid. I hope they send this guy to Guantanamo and flush every piece of information they can out of him. They have already learn where he lived and 2 doors down from his house was the Mosque he attends. I'm thrilled that the New York officer that shot him didn't kill him. We now can get information from him and he won't get his 72 Virgins...............
  22. I appreciate your offer and I will save all brass I fire but as far as relaoding for me. I just don't think I will live that long and still be hunting when I use what is on the bed under the rifle. I don't think I could go through 200 rounds if I lived to be 100. It was hard for me to go through a box without getting a limit for the year and have enough to start the next year with.
  23. Son In Law is very picky about keeping up with paper work and had all of his house papers in 1 folder in his file cabinet at his house plus another copy in my gun safe. He has the deed now and is buying a home safe to put all of his important papers in. He and my daughter worked very hard to make sure they never had to take out a second mortgage and never were late on any bills pertaining to their home.
  24. I never thought about that. Probably why he used it. I bought Buffalo Bullets to shoot in my Hawkins and I never had a problem dropping a deer that I hit but I never checked to see what my bullets were made of. They may have been have been pure lead. I do know they were very easy to push down the barrel with ram rod....................
  25. Another maniac has struck in Manhatten in New York just a few minutes ago!!!
