  1. well Bye!!!!!
  2. Well they are trying, but you got the older hard headed get off my lawn types, that are fighting that every step of the way. ie.. the pellissippi extension. But I get the eminent domain thing that will effect some, but the ones I see on the news bitching about it are not the ones dealing with that.

    Glock 45

I heard that THP switched over to the G45 recently.
  4. steel, at first I thought yours was steel, but upon looking closer I see the CF barrel, now.
  5. I have one in 6.5cm and one in 6.5prc, the cm has been great so far, I have yet to shoot the prc, brass and/or factory ammo is hard to find, and if you do find it, it is ridiculously expensive. I have taken the cm out to 800 so far, my first time shooting that far it took 3 shots to get on an 8" plate with it. I paid $1700 each for mine
  6. I saw this at burger king the other day, I thought great they are now hiring rent a drunks.
  7. And for some reason, I thought the 600 rds was $600 and thought you were asking if it was worth it. so disregard that post.
  8. Smokey Mountain Guns and Ammo has the base gun listed at $450 here: Canik @ SMGA While I don't have any experience with a canik, with all that he has done to it and with 2 extra mags, and the RDS it doesn't seem like a bad deal to me. Actually if it was close to me I would buy it so I could see what the caniks are all about.
  9. Ha, I was talking to a friend the other day and said to him, "I wonder why nobody has necked down a 10mm to a 9mm yet, since the .357 sig is a necked down .40" oh well, learn something new every day.
  10. ah, thanks, I glossed right over the "licensee" part.
  11. So I am confused, (which is what I think is what they want with this). On page 21 it says "However, nothing in this rule would restrict persons not otherwise prohibited from possessing firearms from making their own firearms at home without markings solely for personal use (not for sale or distribution) in accordance with Federal, State, and local law." then on page 44 it says this "For PMFs acquired by licensees before the effective date of the rule, licensees would be required to mark or cause them to be marked by another licensee either within 60 days from that date, or before the date of final disposition (including to a personal collection), whichever is sooner." Doesn't one contradict the other?
  12. ah!! no I am using a desktop but it was at the bottom as well, thanks for that.
  13. Can somebody tell me where to go to change this site back off of dark mode? I have looked through my profile settings and can't find it. Unless it is in black text (as one of the for sale posts were, the price was anyway) and I just can't see it lol.
  14. If you ever go to the Norris range, I have a SRO, an RMR, and a 507k you are welcome to try all of them out to see if its your thing or not. Just send me a message if you are interested
  15. Also I would like to respond to this comment "An old saying that I truly believe in: Never trust your life to anything that requires a battery. " There are people in far nastier places than most of us will ever be in trusting lots of things requiring batteries. Also I can still see my sights through the RMR so I don't get it? Am I missing something?
  16. go to buds and fondle a shadow systems MR920 it has IMO the best optics mounting system there is and it is an excellent shooting gun. It is similarly priced to the FN509
  17. I have the red dot/pistol bug as well, I ended with a Trijicon SRO on a FNX-45 tactical, and a RMR on a shadow systems MR920, me personally I like the SRO better for the little bit bigger window, but the RMR is excellent as well. For me they are so much faster getting back on target vs irons.
  18. Here is a little something to throw a wrench into all that. lol
  19. I have tried that (308->6.5) and got some bulges at the shoulder. But a friend of mine swears he was able to do it by heating up the brass with a torch and then run it through the sizing die. I am not in dire need of 6.5cm to waste anymore 308 cases.
  20. 300 BO is a no go, these are 308
  21. I have seen the ad you speak of, I have run into brass before that had the 3 point crimp really similar to what he is picturing and it was berdan primers. Not saying that these are as I don't remember the headstamp but I do remember the crimp.
  22. I ordered them last friday, and just received an email saying they will be here this friday via fed ex.
  23. This video mirrors exactly what I have found as well. I have used all three with no changes in velocity. But recently I found that a M&P .40 pro series had light strikes with small rifle, luckily I only loaded 20 so no big loss. As the video stated the only difference between the 3 is cup hardness, so no need to reduce a charge.
  24. All that talk about screws breaking etc, is what drove me to the shadow systems MR920. Although I do have a buddy that just put an RMR on a 17 this weekend and he made no mention of the screws being to long.
