I had a little fun plinking this weekend with the AR50-A1 and some Armor Piercing Incendiary. For a target, my uncle got a section of steel I-Beam they use in bridge construction and another chunk of steel he said they use for signs and I think support in structures. We weren't sure if the 50cal would go through 4 layers of steel, but much to our shock, it did! Here I am taking the shot. The target is all the way down in front of the tree line. I ran it on an extra HP laptop. I hated it! I'm not one that has problems adapting to new software, either. I have 5 laptops, 3 desktops, 3 iPhones a Roku and PS3 running on my 105Mbps home network. The PC's run Linux, Win Vista, WinXP, WinXP Media, Win7 Prem, Win7 Pro and I run MAC OSX in Virtual Machines on 2 of them. That said, I would not put Win8 on anything if it'll stay what it was in the latest free trial.

Wrong. They're saying Romney is not conservative enough. They're not saying he's a socialist or communist. To go a bit further, they're saying he is a big government republican. He is not in to reducing social programs. He will actually grow them and try to make them financially stable. Most folks who are real conservatives and libertarians are sick of the increasing size of the federal government and want it trimmed down. That is less taxes and less spending after the US debt has been brought back under control. We might get closer to a balanced budget and reduced US Debt, but we won't see the size and scope of the Federal government reduced under Romney. I voted Ron Paul in the Primary. I have no other choice now but to vote Romney to remove Obama since there is no 3rd party that I believe can win. I just wish folks would wake up and see the path we're on and that if we don't get a real conservative or libertarian in soon, this country is going to grow in to another big bloated oppressive top down government like many of the other countries already have.

We got stuck with Romney, who is basically a Progressive Republican. So was John McCain. The party elitists are controlling who we get. If folks ever notice, we never really get any restoration after a lot of big government (socialistic) changes that the Democrats make. We just get a smaller slower dose of what the Dems do when we have a Republican now. Remember Nanci Pelosi when she said this? "Republicans, take back your party so the elections don't matter so much." She said that because the Dems were getting pissed off Republicans were waking up and sending Tea Party Conservatives and Libertarians to Washington. This is coming from basically a Democratic Socialist. So we need to keep a real close eye on the Rep party just as we do the Dems. Or else we'll end up with one party, Democratic Socialists.

They probably endorse Romeny because he's a big government Democrat when you look close. Just listen to him, he doesn't oppose Obama on much, he just thinks he can do it all better. And I'm sure he probably can do it slightly better when it comes to budgets and business. But all the big government bloat isn't going to go anywhere with Romney. Trust me. Proof is how he ran his own state - like a Democrat. I'm voting Romney because I have no other choice. One day I hope we can get a true conservative, (I'd take a Reagan conservative), or a real common sense Libertarian.

I've never looked through a scope with an H58. Are all the marking really small and hard to see? If these scopes are as good as Leupold and Nightforce, they're a steal for their price. To get a Leupold with a Horus reticle, it is over twice as much.
