  1. More here: Some more good reading here: Colorado ammo magazine maker Magpul threatens to leave state over gun bill - The Denver Post
  2. $24.99 http://www.core15rifles.com/aluminum-gi-30rd-magazines.html
  3. Are private school any better these days? If so, I would take him out of the public indoctrination camp and in to a nice private (maybe Christian) school.
  4. School a noob, whats the problem with Berdan primed steel? I'm new to steel case ammo....
  5. In stock as of this posting. $0.91 a round http://www.luckygunner.com/308-140-gr-sp-brown-bear-500-rounds
  6. I have the the M223 3-12x42 BDC 600 and like it very much. I think the part where folks get worked up too much is when the BDC doesn't match up with different bullet weights, etc. But that really doesn't matter. You're only going to use it for a reference point anyway. Try it out on their site: http://spoton.nikonsportoptics.com/spoton/ You'll notice since it is not a front focal scope, that your BDC yardage changes as you zoom in and out.
  7. The tax payers are being scammed by these cronies and their green energy friends. Crap has to stop sooner or later!
  8. Added more ammo: Magtech 7.62x51 for under $1 per round: http://www.laxammo.com/ammunition/rifle/magtech-cbc-7.62x51-147gr.-fmj--50rds/20-272
  9. Let's see, that's nearly $1 Billion USD. What does that look like? Couldn't rob a bank and get away with that much and all you got to do to get free money now is be politically connected tot he left-wing and hide it under "Green Energy."
  10. And you wonder where your tax dollars are going? Well, the left wing loves funneling it to their crony capitalist friends and family members! Nancy Pelosi's brother-in-law is given $737m of taxpayers' money to build giant solar power plant in middle of the desert http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2043282/Nancy-Pelosis-brother-law-given-loan-bigger-Solyndra-solar-plant.html#axzz2KeAjk6Nv
  11. $1.50 a round is awesome! I seen the RCBS and like it. But the Dillan is built a lot stronger/better IMHO.
  12. Back when I bought my (34 30rd) pmags, I got them for $12.26 each from CTD. Heck, the 1,000rd bulk M855 5.56 was only $409 That was just back in 05/12. If I'd known prices were going to be as high as they are now, I'd have bought a lot more ammo for sure. I'll never again go without a stock-pile of ammo!
  13. I've been eye-ballin' this: http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/content/p/9/pid/23877/catid/1/Super_1050 and this: http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/content/p/9/catid/1/pid/25686/Dillon_BFR_50BMG_Reloading_Machine
  14. I'm biased AR30 30-06: http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=30M006-22&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=9fe63d71-b921-4976-9355-93f7271d20d8 I know it is more than you want to pay, but these were a special run. The normal caliber for Ar30's are 300 win mag and 338 Lapua. Once those are sold, that's it! Here goes a 338 Winchester, too. http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=30M338WM-26&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=9fe63d71-b921-4976-9355-93f7271d20d8 They did have some 308's, but they sold out and are gone forever. The rest are here: http://www.armalite.com/Categories.aspx?Category=9fe63d71-b921-4976-9355-93f7271d20d8
  15. Wow! The Winchester is already sold out!
  16. What ammo are you shooting out of your Colt? I've got a box of that Winchester I picked up at Outpost last week. I'll see how it works in the Sig 716 next outing when I break it in. I did see videos of Sig 716's not cycling ammo. Seems they're so tight, you need to clean them and lube them with thin oil like Rem Oil in the bolt carrier assembly. Maybe you can try some Rem Oil on your Colt so maybe it'll feed/extract with a bit more force? Trust me, I oiled the shit out of my Colt LE 6920 to the point it was leaking out all over the place, and the buffer spring even got some from drainage. When I shot another guys AR15 at the range that looked dry, my Colt definitely recoiled more than his. I'm sure it was due to the crap load of lube (think I used Lucas Gun Oil on it). LOL I already have my Sig cleaned and oiled up, so hope it cycles everything well because this ammo isn't cheap and I'd hate to have a $522 brick of ammo that won't cycle!
  17. Cool... I'd have got it since it was cheaper, but I wanted at least 500rds and the Winchester is limited to 200rds.
  18. I got the Federal Lake City stuff. Which did you get?
  19. They had PMC for $0.75 a rd and when I refreshed the page it showed sold out, so I don't think this ammo is going to last long...
  20. Edit: Sold Out! Magtech 7.62x51 for under $1 per round: http://www.laxammo.com/ammunition/rifle/magtech-cbc-7.62x51-147gr.-fmj--50rds/20-272Out of Stock! Federal Lake City FMJ 500rd bulk ($1 per rd) http://www.ammunitiondepot.com/Federal-Lake-City-7-62x51-XM80C-149-Grain-fmj-p/adxm80cs-a.h Already Sold Out! Winchester USA .308 NATO (7.62x51) ($0.85 a rd) http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=AWRA308FMJ147
  21. You just made that shotgun 10 times more deadly! I bet it gets up off the tabnle and starts killing people at random now! j/k Cool. First time I ever seen a shotgun that pimp'd out!
  22. I just had a random thought... If folks want to represent gun owners in front of the camera, I think they should take a more strategic approach. Like the news 5 guy seemed shocked to hear the hands and feet FBI statistic. We need more of that type of info to counter the ridiculous left-wing arguments out there. If you look at a Liberal or left-wing anti-2A rights person when they go on in front of the camera, they seem to have already studied what statistics they want to use and they're more well spoken as if they've studied or rehearsed what they were going to say before hand. If I was to choose to go on in front of the camera, I would also study the gun crime statistics, have a sheet of paper with info and links to back it up to give the media, and have thought about what all points I wanted to make (and maybe rehearsed) to make the argument more concise and filled with facts/info. Maybe that would help get our message and better arguments out there for the media to share.
  23. Id never heard of it either until I came across it last night in my Facebook feed. Sometimes I guess it's good things get reposted since not everyone catches every single thing at the same time on the interweb!
  24. Came across this clip and thought I'd share. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ncdXfUAkMUI
  25. Barrett spoke of not selling guns at all to state governments, etc., as a form of protesting all these idiotic laws. He already did that to California when they banned the 50 BMG. All these gun and ammo manufactures need to get together and do this. The only problem I see is they might bypass American stuff and buy foreign made crap, losing that revenue in the USA.
