    AK Mistake

    Purists I assume?
  2. This was his reply on Facebook: Just trying to get with other 5.7x28mm owners to see if this is normal for EA S4M and if it cycled OK in their Five-seveN. I have a feeling with it being this nasty, it won't cycle well.

    AK Mistake

I recommend this one: RWC Saiga... Same as mine basically...
  4. Welcome! Did you find us via this thread I posted in? http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1242702 So long as liberty lovers and constitutionalists move here from left-wing states, I'll be happy. Folks just need to keep a really close eye on their kids public education so they're not indoctrinated in to a left-wing army like CA, NY, etc., has done to the kids out there.

    AK Mistake

I bought a new RWC Saiga IZ132Z a while back. It's a smooth running rifle. For an AR guy getting his first AK, I think it would be a good choice: If you want a threaded barrel with slant brake, get the US132Z though. Old video, so you got to apply current situations (politics, sanctions, ammo supply, etc.) and all to the equation, but still has some good info:
  6. A screen shot of the ammo off their website.... I bought three 25rd boxes and this stuff isn't cheap! http://www.eliteammunition.com/#!/S4M-Pre-Order/p/53625532/category=20650003 Also have 3 boxes of T6B on the way: http://www.eliteammunition.com/#!/T6B-PREORDER/p/51287185/category=20650003
  7. Have any of you bought and shot EA S4M? Was it dirty like this? Did it cycle? EA guy responded on FB and says it's ok, just that the moly is messy. But none of the pics and video I've seen shows S4M with cases this nasty and with caked up moly on the bullets. Others who bought previously said theirs didn't look like this either. This video shows some EA moly coated rounds and look how clean they are: Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. When I fill the TDI up to the top, I get about 250 miles on the first 1/4 tank alone. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I usually never let mine go below a 1/2 tank. Luckily, I had filled up before the panic. With the VW TDI, I get anywhere between 47-52 mpg's. Then I have a Toyota Tacoma sitting with a full tank. It only gets about 22 mpg's average though.
  10. No thanks to Hillary Clinton and the anti's.
  11. Yeah, looked up my Saiga and they're about $200 higher than what I paid for mine new.
  12. I'd think they'll build them right here in the USA. http://money.cnn.com/2016/01/27/news/companies/kalashnikov-florida-factory/ http://www.ammoland.com/2015/04/kalashnikov-usa-announce-move/
  13. Looks like they're going to build some NICE weapons! The bolt gun looks like an Accuracy International AX to me as well. 15. Got the RFT sling adapter, Magpul MS2 sling and Hogue grip on. Much improved over the CAA grip. The CAA grip felt too small for this pistol, but feels fine on the Saiga. 16. The pull feels different between my Saiga and the M92 PAP, but that might be because I use the ALG spring in the PAP. The ALG Spring wouldn't work in the Saiga because it wedged too tight between the bolt-catch lever causing the hammer not to fall. I had to grind off part of the hammer at the pin shaft to clear that bolt catch as well. Saiga M92 PAP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've not seen one for sale yet. Only heard about them. With as short a pull as the AKT is, I'm not sure they can go much farther. I'll try to get a quick video of mine to how short it is after I grab a bite to eat.
  18. Not really enough recoil to me to need a brake. But it needed a flash hider pretty bad since it threw balls of fire. Edit: See my avatar....
  19. No MG hate here. Love'um!
  20. What kind of Hotrod is it?
  21. It is. @Oh Shoot recommended it to me a while back.
  22. Update...
  23. Got my new rail on the M92 PAP. I've got a new Hogue grip, single point sling adapter, Magpul MS3 Gen2 sling and Stark Expess forward grip left to install.
  24. Awesome!
  25. Geissele makes a trigger for these odd pin sized Colt's. Click: https://geissele.com/hi-speed-national-match-large-pin-trigger-set.html There are 3 to choose from: Hi-Speed National Match Large Pin - Trigger Set 1st Stage 2nd Stage Total Weight Service Rifle 3.2 - 5 lbs. 0.5 - 1.5 lbs. 4.5 - 6.5 lbs. DMR 2.5 - 3.6 lbs. 0.5 - 1.5 lbs. 3.0 - 5.1 lbs. Match Rifle 1.5 - 2.5 lbs. 6.0 - 14 oz. 1.9 - 3.4 lbs FULL DESCRIPTION Hi-Speed National Match Triggers - Large Pin Series Geissele Automatics currently offers three large pin Hi-Speed trigger products. These adjustable triggers are specially designed for competition, hunting, tactical, and military use, where both accuracy and robustness are critical. As an adjustable trigger, the first and second stage weight distribution, as well as, total pull weight, over-travel, and sear engagement are all to be tuned to the shooters preference. The Geissele Service Trigger The Geissele Hi-Speed Service Rifle Trigger is designed for NRA High Power Service Rifle competition. It is an approved trigger for use in CMP sanctioned competitions such as: National Trophy, NTIT and all Excellence In Competition matches. Service Rifle competitions require military-based weapons to meet certain criteria, one of which is a minimum trigger pull weight of 4.5 lbs. Our Service Rifle Trigger includes our exclusive 5-Coil trigger spring which will give a nominal 4 lbs. on first stage. The Service trigger pull weights are biased with most of the pull weight on the first stage. This will allow a light second stage with an icicle-sharp break, effectively giving your weapon a match-grade trigger let-off. The Geissele DMR Trigger The Geissele Hi-Speed Designated Marksman Rifle Trigger is designed for tactical and military shooting where trigger pull weight is not regulated. Perfect for all precision tactical shooting and squad Designated Marksmen, the higher second stage weight helps in high-stress shooting situations. The Geissele Match Trigger The Geissele Hi-Speed Match Rifle Trigger is designed for NRA High Power Rifle competition with highly modified AR-15 Space guns. AR-15 Space guns are the Formula 1 weapons of High Power Rifle competition. With very few restrictions, these highly customized semi-automatic weapons are intended to produce extreme accuracy at long range. The Geissele Match Trigger is a perfect Space gun add-on as the pull weight can be adjusted to low levels that enhance trigger control. The fast lock time assists the shooter in getting every ounce of accuracy out of his weapon. The Hi-Speed hammer uses a full-power hammer spring which imparts more kinetic energy into the firing pin, producing much more consistent primer ignition - especially with experimental cartridges or AR-10 based weapons. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Size 1990-2009 Colt Large Pin Trigger Bow Type M4 Curved Weapon Platform AR15/AR10 It's not cheap, but I have many of his high end triggers and feel they're all worth the price.
