  1. Restarted and it's working again. If I could just figure out the problem, I'd fix it. I'm just unsure if it's the video card/hardware or a driver/software issue.
  2. Well, started it up this AM and this is what happened afterwards. Is this looking like a hardware failure more than driver to you guys? Bad video card? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro v2.2
  3. This surprised me. I thought there were more Mac users out there and couldn't believe how many still use XP! http://news.cnet.com/8301-10805_3-57614177-75/windows-8.1-overtakes-mac-os-x-10.9-among-desktop-os-users/?ttag=fbwl
  4. Yeah, it's a single shot bolt gun. It has nearly no recoil with all the accessories weighing it down and the brake.
  5. There will always be show-offs in every hobby and sport. But let's not sit here and act like that is the sum of the entire group. Because if that's true, I could say that about most other groups who shoot specific calibers. My wife loves the AR50. But I do most of the carrying. We're heading out this afternoon to go shoot with a coupe friends of mine. There are places to shoot, if you're willing to drive. We might have a range that allows up to the 50 BMG that goes out to 1,000 yards soon. It's still being debated at this time, though. Cross your fingers on that one.
  6. Not quite. My rifle is a bit larger. I have the ArmaLite AR50-A1B 50 BMG. http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=50A1B&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=0406c9ff-539d-4b4c-ae1f-d045b91324c3 My rifle before scope swap and Barrett rings: A video, listen for the API down around 300 yards. :) https://vimeo.com/53999585#at=0 A better look at the AR50-A1B. About 5.5ft long, and about 45lbs as you see it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTHxejIEpDQ&feature=share&list=UUENcBx0eaUh6ix-jAv845vg&index=3 You can get this in 416 Barrett and 50 BMG for about the same price as the AR30A1 300 win mag and 338 lapua rifles. AR50 50 BMG: http://grabagun.com/arml-ar50-50cal-31-blk-blk.html Real good price on this one in .416 Barrett: http://grabagun.com/armalite-50a1b-416-ar-50a1-416.html Retail for $3,359.00 http://www.armalite.com/Categories.aspx?Category=0406c9ff-539d-4b4c-ae1f-d045b91324c3
  7. Under $3,000.00 at this place and they're legit as I've bought from them myself: http://grabagun.com/armalite-30a1bt338-ar30a1-338-lapua.html Retail is $3,599.00 http://www.armalite.com/ItemForm.aspx?item=30A1BT338&ReturnUrl=Categories.aspx?Category=d4543129-c82e-4fc9-bb4d-213664c7b055 https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=bQQNq20vp5w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrRYT0kd7nI They come in .338 Lapua Mag, .300 win mag, and there is a new AR31 that comes in .308 Winchester.
  8. Love it! I've got a Mega pistol lower coming and I might just go for a Sig 7.5 pistol upper myself.
  9. That looks almost exactly like a stray my parents took in. She (my parents cat) is a real survivor and a great hunter, I can tell you that. :)
  10. MS Win7 Pro had a bunch of video card/driver errors in the action center. Clicked the search for fix or whatever it's called and it supposedly lost connection to the server in the process. I don't think it had a chance to repair anything, but so far no more crashes thus far. We shall see what happens as time goes on. :meh:
  11. it looks to definitely be a video hardware issue (prob driver).   chkdsk came out OK.   Defrag was 0%   Disk cleanup went well.
  12. There have been tons of MS updates lately, but none for the video card that I recall.    I'll try the check disk next.
  13. Lovely. I used this PC for all my heavy work. :\   I've had a Segate backup keeping scheduled backups. Do you think that's enough to restore from? Or should I also do a like Blu-ray backup of everything?
  14. Well, this used to only happen when I was using IE and playing youtube videos, but I had just got up, turned on the PC, and then clicked MS Outlook to check my Email accounts and the blue screen appeared sometime after it downloaded my email. Anyone know what the crap this means and how to fix it? Recent crash: The older crashes that I managed to get screen shots of: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro v2.2
  15. Not seen anything, but I know D&T Arms could probably order it for you if they don't have it. They ordered a Mega Maten for me. :)
  16. Thanks, guys! I can't wait to go to the range and try it out!
  17. Thought I'd snap a pic of a few rounds to go with the gun. 5.7x28, 9mm, 40 cal, 45 ACP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro v2.2
  18. Decided to get one of these while my XDs was out for the warranty recall. S&W M&P Shield 40cal: http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/24/original/ahunyvy3.jpg
  19. The Govt is getting way too intrusive nowadays. And being a former Federal employee, I speak from personal experience. :meh:
  20. What city/county are you in again? I moved to Hermitage, so I'd be in Davidson county. Do we have to do CLEO in our county? If not, I'd be OK to see your guy!
  21. Wow! Gun shops are getting as common and plentiful as convenience stores! Pretty soon, we'll have drive through gun shops where you can order a Glock and a box of ammo to go!
  22. So what weapon and ammo would that be?
  23. Interesting...
  24. If you have an old XP machine with at least a fast processor for it's time that runs slow, wipe it clean and install Ubuntu Linux. You'll notice it gets MUCH faster! http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop
