  1. If it's just 5 years (not lifetime), at least my Dad can vote then. He's been a continuous member since I was a kid. Guess me and the wife are out. :(
  2. Life members? No. Do you have to be a life member to vote? I just joined last year....
  3. Nice. I love the 590's! My first shotgun years ago was the 590. I got rid of the 590 (9 shot with ghost ring sights) and the Benelli M3 Super 90 (8 shot with ghost ring sights), but regretted it ever since. I recently replaced the 590 with a new M590A1. Difference in this one is it doesn't have the stock like yours, it has the tacti-cool stuff from the factory. Now I need to replace that Benelli! Mine looked like this and would do pump and auto-loader of course. http://www.benelliusa.com/m3-convertible-semi-auto-pump-shotgun
  4. I'll make sure he has 3 votes against him at my house!
  5. Keep Brandon Webb off the NRA Board of Directors: Keep Brandon Webb off the NRA Board of Directors | The Bang Switch Read and see the video. He thinks we only need 5 rounds and no AR's. We need to oust this one, guys!
  6. You guys would get a kick out of my wife's wish list of guns. Nemo Omen .300 win mag is at the top of her list. Desert Tactical Arms 50 BMG because she "wants to be able to shoulder fire a 50 BMG." A nice 1911 45 acp. She happens to like my Dads Springfield Armory Trophy Match, so that's probably what we'll get. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN96Edz7lis FN Five-Seven because she wants one for herself and I'm not giving mine up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6CJCbTIQqk And that's not all of them! And to add, the other day, I was bogged down with work and had been putting off cleaning my guns, so she took a day and cleaned the Sig 716, Colt LE 6920, Glock 21, FN Five-Seven, S&W M&P Shield 40cal and helped me clean the ArmaLite AR50-A1 50 BMG.
  7. Yes! My wife and I started off on the steel targets at the pistol range. She LOVES shooting steel! She shot the S&W M&P Shield 40cal, I shot the Glock 21 45acp. We were running out of daylight, so I had to cut it short with 200 more rounds of 45acp on hand and move over to the rifle range to sight in those two AR's. Wife was the spotter until I got it on paper, then I could see those tiny bullet holes. We traded up poking holes in the paper until it started getting dark and really cold! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kivP4mgalE
  8. Sighting in some of the 5.56 AR's. Went to Strategic Edge on Thanksgiving to sight in the new Nikon M223 4-16x42 BDC 600 and re-sight in the Nikon M223 3-12x42 BDC 600 on the other gun. The Ruger SR556 behind the Colt. Took the 3-12x42 off the Colt and put it on the Ruger. Put the new 4-12x42 on the Colt. ^ that old pic still has the 3-12x42 on it.
  9. You and a ton of other folks! I've read complaints about the promise of these calibers coming out, but nothing came and folks were giving up. Finally, they fixed that. And right after I seen one MRAD owner give up and get a DTA. LOL http://barrettrifles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=3056&start=15
  10. What would be the benefit of going 6.8 over 5.56 in a pistol? I've got a Mega forged pistol lower and Mega forged stripped upper coming. I also have a billet ambi Mega AR15 upper and lower set coming for a rifle build. Would that be better in 6.8 than a pistol? Just considering my options here.
  11. Seen this in my FCSA membership magazine issue 2013-4.
  12. So the consensus is they don't work, they just look cool?
  13. Glad she is home safe and sound.
  14. Might be a 2 week delay: http://app.streamsend.com/private/kfeqfyjsdf/Q2G/me4BOj8/browse/20067531
  15. If this is a repost, delete. http://www.newschannel5.com/story/24138025/huge-personal-gun-collection-to-be-auctioned-off
  16. Might be pricey, but I like it! I'd just like to find people that use this buffer to see if there is any problems or wear in the upper receiver before I decide to get one.
  17. Hmm, found it. Not sure I like the spring riding in the upper on the outside of the BCG. Anyone here run these? Any abnormal wear inside the upper receiver? http://www.gunsmokeenterprises.net/product.sc?productId=5&categoryId=2
  18. Who makes these really short pistol buffer tubes?
  19. Great. This is going to cut in to my MEGA ARMS AR Pistil budget. :( I configured this Dell XPS Studio a couple years back with the ATI Radeon 5770 I think it was. http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/ati-radeon-hd-5000/hd-5770/Pages/ati-radeon-hd-5770-overview.aspx#1 Wonder if I should replace it with the same or upgrade to newer better gfx card.
  20. I have to take trips to California every December to spend the holidays with my wife's family and fiends. I sometimes catch something on the flight over from all the coughing sick people. Sucks because last year I was laid up in the bed alone at my mother-in-laws house all by myself while everyone was at the Christmas party/dinner. I had Panera tomato soup stuff and grilled cheese, they had a giant feast of home cooking. :(
  21. You made me think of something funny. lol In case of zombie apocalypse, Barrett M107A1 clamped down to a table inline with the door and approximate area of center mass (head shot for zombies) and a string/wire to the bedside from the trigger. Only problem is, a 50 BMG in a bedroom would permanently destroy your hearing.
  22. My side of the bed: Beretta 92FS 9mm with 15+1 chambered rounds Federal Hydra Shok. FN Five Seven with (5.7x28 VMAX) 20+1 chambered. Wife's side of the bed: Ruger Security Six 357 Magnum with some HP's. S&W M&P Shield 40cal with full mag + 1 chambered of Federal Hydra Shok I used to keep the Mossber 590 9 shot pump by the bed loaded with 00 Buck and Slugs (every other round 00 Buck, slug, 00 buck, slug, etc), but figured these pistols are enough. I carry the FN 5.7x28 until my XDs 45acp get's back from the recall. Wife carries the S&W Shield 40 cal.
  23. BTW, post pictures of these lowers, guys!
  24. Holy cow! You guys are going to be busy and the TBI is going to be like WTF?!?!?
