I'll add, they shouldn't have complied and then they should have revolted and marched on that capitol and demanded repeal and fought it day and night, even if they had to stand out on the sidewalk in front of those politicians houses. There is no reason for all those gun owners to be so spineless and just bow to their unconstitutional demands.
-
What should have happened in CT was NONE of them should have complied. If they can't enforce an unconstitutional law, they'll have no choice but to repeal it. Because if that many gun owners stood their ground firm and said "come get'um if you think you can" I don't think they would've had a drop of success with this crap. If they ever try that #### in TN, we need to all organize every gun owner, refuse to comply and tell'um to shove that worthless ink and paper up their oppressive asses!

I really think it started with the NFA and all this classification BS of SBR's, DD's, FA's, etc. We can add not allowing AP, API, etc., as well. That happened before my time, but gun owners not fighting against it and continuing that fight until full repeals was a huge loss for 2A Rights as well. First they got the NFA, now they're coming for the Semi-Auto's (AR15's, etc.) and Hi-Cap Magazines. What's next? Everything else, progressively, one by one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzDO86iSKWU

executive orders on gun control pushed through
JohnC replied to Sam1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Posted this in the other thread, too. The way it is worded here IMHO is a problem: What the red says to me is a cleverly worded ending that states "regardless" of whether or not a court has adjudicated you as mentally ill (mental disease, mentally ill, lacking mental responsibility,, deemed insane, etc), you can still have your 2A rights denied. If that is true, this is the most dangerous regulatory addition they could add. Remember, Obamacare will connect your medical records. Doctors already try to trap folks like you go in from an injury and they ask their usual battery of questions probing for any reason to prescribe you drugs like "felt depressed lately, etc." Also, just imagine how connected medical records are going to be and if you ever had a temporary issue in your life that they feel they want to make you ineligible to purchase guns, that they could revoke your rights because of it. It's mental health today, tomorrow it'll be physical health. How long before something like Cataracts and Parkinson's will deem you a danger to self and others because you can't see good or shake too much? Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I do not trust the Govt with anymore power over our rights than they already have. -

What do you do when you encounter a posted business?
JohnC replied to 10-Ring's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
If I have to be there, disarm and go in. If there is an alternative place to get that product or service, I leave and go elsewhere. -

Sorry. I see letting a bunch of liberal/socialists that have the temporary political power revoke your rights when you live in a more free state such as we do now, and then pack up after doing little or nothing to run to another state as completely giving up. When there is a fight to preserve your rights, stand up and FIGHT! If you lose, regroup, reorganize, re-plan, and try again. Giving up and inaction is letting them win. Hell, I wish the left had some of you guys mindset; they'd face opposition and just run back to Commifornia, NY or the like and give-up. A lot of what I read on these gun forums tells me the real fighters are on the left, not the right. Everything I hear from the right is comply or run. Most of you have made you mind up if you can't get an immediate victory, that you'll just immediately give-up. FYI, the left has been in this fight for close to 100 years and they haven't given up for a second. At the most, when they have a loss, they regroup and go back to the drawing board, find their mistakes, reorganize and start again. Take a page out of their playbook. Get in the fight and stay in it to win. -

I'm not saying arm yourselves and go start a battle, but rather at least take the first damn step to preserving your rights and get off your ass and start doing something. It's got to be easier to fight against this anti-2A BS than hiding your guns out of state and running across America! Damn people! Wise up! Organize gun owners and like-minded folks to protest like the dirty pot smoking hippies do and camp out for days harassing these political asshats, etc. Protest when they go to work, follow them home and protest them outside their homes. We can make their entire stay in office absolutely miserable. We can win if we put in the time and work. I certainly will. I've been to Washington D.C many times to join in rallies and protest over the past few years. I've also been a part of the local pro-gun rallies. I stay on top of the political news. I call politicians, write letters, sign petitions, and donate money to those who are fighting for us and our rights. Let's not be weak-asses laying around moaning on the PC all day and make sure we fight these battle from every angle. I'll be dammed if I'm going to end up in a line like these guys who laid over and allowed this BS to happen. And I'll be dammed if I let them restrict our 2A rights anymore. -

What happened to Americans? What happened to guys like these that wouldn't let this type of unconstitutional BS go on by a minority of politicians violating their oath of office to support the constitution? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5ut6yPrObw CT Oath of Office: http://www.keepandbeararms.com/information/XcIBViewItem.asp?ID=1878#oath http://youtu.be/g8VA8YLqvMU?t=1m45s -

You can't run forever. We'll be running out of free states if no one stands up and you all run or comply with the unconstitutional laws. -
I've not seen an official MEGA ARMS thread. Maybe 173rdABN can start it and we can all fall in. :)

She used to be pro-gun before she got shot and her dickhead husband started running around being anti-gun while she was recovering (and he probably got her on the anti gun bandwagon), right? If so, the photo makes sense.

Geissele Trigger Sale Today Only!!!!! 30% off and free shipping
JohnC replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
Tried it and got no discount. Only a "swag pack" showed up. I canceled as I don't need swag, but a discount would get me biting on a trigger. -
Thanks! Yes, beautiful rifles and looks like they're coming in some new colors!

For the money, some of those F650's look like a better deal if you're really going to be pulling a lot.
-
How much per round did you pay for that 2,000 rounds? :yum: Cheapest I've found API is $2.25 per round to my door. Got about 300rds API left, 30 tracer and about 40 M33 ball. I need to stockpile more.....
