Gun confiscation is on the table in Conn.
JohnC replied to jphillips63's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
And I keep pointing out to you I never said CT would do door to door confiscation. I don't know how they'll handle the AWR law they passed. I can't see in to the future. I merely stated, more or less in response to folks thinking gun confiscation in the USA can't ever happen that it already has. Then you went ape-####-crazy making all sorts of extreme assumption of what you think I said or meant by that. Again, I never said CT law enforcement would conduct door to door confiscations. All these extremes keep coming from you and you keep trying to make me defend myself against every extreme scenario you come up with. It isn't going to happen because I never said any of the #### you insinuated. Get it et? I thought you would have got it a few pages back, but it flew right over your head and you kept on with the insanity. -

I'm just going to try to help you out here once more. Let me point it out again, NO ONE said "what happened in New Orleans has bearing on CT law." :) -

Once and for all, I never said the lawmakers in CT were going to use door to door gun confiscation. You keep repeating yourself over and over and over and I keep pointing out I never said it nor did I insinuate CT was going to do it. This back and forth is insanity, TMF. Give it up man. :shake: -

This is where you're totally wrong and I keep pointing it out to you over and over again and you still can't see anything else but your own extremes and assumptions. I'll just ignore the rest of your ad nauseam like you ignore everyone else trying to tell you something you refuse to acknowledge because you're hung up on tin-foil-hat conspiracies and trying to prove everyone fits your definition of it. :shake: -

OK, I get it now. You're confused. Where was Katrina gun confiscation connected with CT gun laws and a squad of national guardsmen and used as evidence? Please quote me because I don't remember any such thing and the only speculating and insinuating being done in this thread is by you my friend. Correct, I did not say that. Again, I just pointed out it has happened in the recent past during Katrina and mentioned anything is possible. But I never speculated or insinuated how they were going to solve this problem in CT as you're trying to suggest. I can't say what they will or won't do because I don't have a crystal ball or a time machine. -

Again, you are taking me out of context because you seem to only see everything in your own extremes. Where did I specifically say: Again, all my point was is gun confiscation happened, and quite recently for that matter. I never said this is what Connecticut would even do as a solution to the problem they created. -

 All I said was: 1. Gun confiscation has already happened in the USA. and 2. Anything is possible as history shows us. I'm just pointing out that "just because we live in America" doesn't mean we're immune to everything else that happens in the world, such as gun confiscation. :shake: And I think we can all agree here the ridicule is coming from the other side; just read your post and Dave's and compare them to my posts. Tin Foil Hat get's thrown around so much on this forum by a select few that it's like listening to MSNBC claim racism all day. I don't get where the rest of your ad nauseam is coming from or why you quoted me and then talk about conspiracy theories. But please quote me, specifically, where I have put conspiracy theory in this thread and said any of the bull#### you posted and related to my posts. -
I'm going to just try restoring it as a last resort. If that doesn't work, I'll look you up! Where are you located? Edit: Dec 19, 2014. Just installed a new Corsair power supply CX750M 750w rating which is above what was in there (535w). So far so good.

Dave, So you admit the Constitution and current laws did not protect the citizens and keep the local Government from confiscating guns during the Katrina disaster, but you still think passing more laws (that have only passed in a few states) will actually protect us from gun confiscation in the future? First off, we're not discussing TN. We're discussing the Gone-To-Hell state of Connecticut and the current AWR! Please point out, specifically, where anyone here said "someone from the government is going to come to my home in Tennessee and want to seize my guns. I fear a drone strike on my house because I am trying to get a bill passed that would allow carry by all citizens." Do you always make up your own arguments? Red Herring? Do you always see things, in your own mind, in the absolute most extreme interpretations? -
You reminded me, I've not tested out my two 30rd 5.7x28 pistol mags yet. Might make a trip to the range Wed and try them out!

I guess the constitution and laws already in place at the time protected those citizens while their guns were being confiscated during Katrina, right? -

The Germans and Jews probably thought nothing like what happened could ever happen to them or their own country (and the countless other communist and socialist countries). It takes a long process to get people to that point, but with propaganda, education, etc., anything is possible. No one said they wanted to kill cops. I guess you missed it. Gun confiscation happened during Katrina. I could post a lot of other instances where the law and constitution did not protect the citizens in the moment these illegal and unconstitutional situations happened. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-taU9d26wT4 But I guess you'll believe what you want and everyone else is just tin foil hatters. -
Here goes my wife's liberal (kind of a conservative Christian liberal [SDA]) friend from Cali shooting it. I was honored to be able to show some Californians what it's all about. Got all those girls except 1 to shoot out of 5 of them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EuZsAhORJ0&feature=c4-overview&list=UUSGfmCCb9N-760_lPsLexGQ I brought an a lot of my guns plus one of my Dads that day to let those girls shoot. I might have converted some Cali girls to pro-2A now! FN 5.7 Beretta 92FS 9mm Ruger 357 mag Ruger Redhawk 44mag (it was supposed to be my Moms Ruger 22lr because I wanted them to shoot some light recoiling pistols first, but my Dad grabbed the wrong box. After I discovered it was the 44mag, I bought some 44 special ammo and went back in and let them shoot it). Mossberg plinkster 22lr Colt LE 6820 Sig Sauer 716 .308

Yeah, I know that much. I keep my PC's up to date. I'm not totally ignorant. I run a home network with: 6 laptops 4 desktops 3 iPhones 1 Roku 1 PS3 All on a lowly Commiecast 105Mbps service. Aside from that, in my spare time, I run some websites. I also own 16 domains. This is an example on one: http://streetntrack.net Most of the others are Wordpress and phpBB forums. But even with what techy knowledge I have, this issue has me completely stumped! :wall:
