G21 Gen4 has been flawless for me.

When you think about it, that's silly. Body armor can't harm anyone. It's not a gun. And if you're a criminal and can illegally get a gun as a felon, you could probably buy all that stuff stolen or whatever in the black market.

Thanks, Sam!

http://www.ar500armor.com/potential-body-armor-ban-h.r.-5344-take-action.html and https://www.facebook.com/AR500Armor started this petition: https://www.popvox.com/bills/us/113/hr5344 Site report: https://www.popvox.com/bills/us/113/hr5344/report#nation Be sure to oppose it. Some people, because the way it is titled by the Govt, mistakenly chose to support it but their comments reflect they actually oppose it. Because it's called "The Responsible Body Armor Possession Act (H.R. 5344)" it sounds like it is more pro-body armor when it is anti.

If the post-86 ban were repealed....
JohnC replied to quietmike's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
Almost all of them! Because they would eventually meet equilibrium after demand normalized and prices would become affordable. Really, if i was rich and had time, I'd spend my life fighting to restore those rights and end the NFA crap! -
I avoid the ghetto's..... My mother-in-law is a pretty strict Seventh Day Adventist, so the places we go and friends I meet are good. Been all over this place ever since I got married. San Diego is actually a nice place. Weather is great out there. But I don't understand why health fanatics (like my mother-in-law = strict vegan) live in places like Riverside because the air is so crappy out here, the mountains disappear behind a brown haze, and I've heard stories of people having lungs like a smoker who never smoked. Heck, my wife grew up here and has asthma, and after being here, I kind of think it helped cause that issue. Anyway, I was reading up in gun laws out here and seems at least the permit process has improved since the recent court ruling. http://www.riversidesheriff.org/firearms/ccw.asp The AR's are nurtured with bullet buttons and 10 round mags. I hope they'll start accepting out of state HCP's via a reciprocity so I can carry my XDs 45 out here. I really hate being here for the fact that I have to disarm to not be in violation of their laws.

Stuck out here in CA, but had to see some guns and found a nice shop. They had a killer selection of CA complaint AR's in there. HK's LWRC's R.E.P.R, and on. Very well stocked with AR's. :yes Didn't take pics inside, but they had a couple rides out front, so I snapped pics of those. Link has pics of the inside: Warrior One, Gun Stores In Riverside,Riverside Gun Store,Gun Stores Corona Gun Shop, Moreno Valley Gun Stores, Gun stores in Riverside Just thought I'd share. :thumb:

Table at Terry's Strategic Edge rifle ranges 100, 300, and 500 yards I think it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro v2.2 Some of the steel pistol targets at Strategic Edge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kivP4mgalE&list=UUSGfmCCb9N-760_lPsLexGQ A friend of mine shooting my AR50 at Terry's. Cant really see clearly all the way to the 300 because of the snow really. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FENZdqUgfB8&list=UUSGfmCCb9N-760_lPsLexGQ&index=10 Tony shooting my AR50 at his 1,000 yard table. http://vimeo.com/72163212 https://www.facebook.com/pages/Terry-Walden-Gunsmith-and-More/463632530390794?sk=photos_stream http://www.strategicedge.us/gun-range https://www.facebook.com/pages/Strategic-Edge-Inc-Gun-Range/169737329873102

I've been a few times since it first opened and I've never seen it swamped. Always been able to find a lane to shoot on the rifle and steel pistol ranges. :)
-
I've only taken the mandatory classes, and the safety class for overbore. I'd like to take some long range classes, though.
-
Tony told me another 1,000 on the left and also a 1,250 yard range later. More rifle ranges at other yards, a rimfire range, etc.

I have no ties with Strategic other than being a member, but I just want to help you understand the fees as I was told and understand them. I think you might have misunderstood the application fee as a hidden fee because it is not included in the head of household or sole member fee. The reason it is not listed is because the $50 is a 1 time app fee for processing and background that you do not have to pay again unless you're membership lapses and you come back a year later or something. The annual fee for locals is $150 and family members are $25 each. This is less than the first year he opened because family used to be $50 each. Like I said, if you're a senior, vet, or even a long distance member, you get a discount. The difference in long distance membership fee is $75, NOT $150. So as head of household you'd pay $75 + tax. There is a fee for the over-bore (like 338 Lapua, 50 BMG, etc.) because he gives a safety class on what ammo is safe (non API, AP, Incendiary, Tracer, Steel core) because he doesn't want stray bullets flying over a berm in to some farmers land, doesn't want holes in his armor plate, doesn't want grass fires, etc. All the over-bore rifles have to use an ar500 steel plate behind their paper target for safety. The fee also pays for that expensive ar500 steel he has to buy and maintain. They don't charge everyone the safety fee because not everyone needs the safety class - that he takes his own time to teach, write the manual for, etc.) and not everyone needs the ar500 armor to stop their rounds. That said, where else can you find a range that will go to 1,250 yards, supply steel targets and have the other amenities and safety that this place has for so little in annual fees? Trust me, I've been to some ranges that just going down to hang a target felt like Russian Roulette. I had a guy walk up with a ammo can of 7.62x39 and AK47, load up, stand like Rambo, and fire as fast as he could across all our rifle targets at Cheatham Wildlife Range. That same range, we would call COLD and people would keep firing on the pistol and short range to the left (50 yards?), and when we called them out and asked them to go cold, gave us lip! I even seen guys shooting from my right side on the pistol range at rocks on the berm to my far left range across our center rifle range at Cheatham Wildlife. So for me, I can live with the small fees, rules and the background check to keep the place idiot free and not have to worry about someone trying to continue to shoot while I'm hanging a target down range. So yeah, if you don't like the rules and small membership fee, I guess it isn't the place for you. Just hope you understand everything so you are making an informed decision, though. FWIW... That's not me being a range-snob for explaining all that to you. I just want to help. Even my Dad kind of frowns on restrictive range rules and doesn't like it, but I remind him of those outings at Cheatham every time. And hey, like I said, I'm no range snob. I like MG's, 50 BMG's, and I do shoot AP, API, Tracer, etc., but I go to a range that allows that and has the proper setup for it, Terry's. Terry's Gun Range has a nice hill to stop bullets and water stands on the ground at 300-ish, so it is kind of swampy and that eliminates the possibility of fires when shooting Tracer and API out of my 50 BMG. Basically, go to the range that serves your style and weapons/ammo best. If you want to shoot long range or shoot steel on the pistol range in a safe environment with tons of amenities, Strategic Edge is for you. If you want to plink and use API out to 300 yards, etc., Terry's is for you. Hope this helps!

Have you joined Strategic Edge yet? He opened up to over bore up to 50 BMG. You have to take his safety class first and can't shoot anything but 50 BMG AMAX (only non-steel core round for the 50bmg I know of) with the armor plate behind your target though. But he is adding more ranges, another 1,000 yard and a 1,250 yard range, etc. Go check it out if you haven't yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Tennessee Open-Carry Law Torpedoed by Underhanded Tactics?
JohnC replied to Falcon1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'd like to know if the TFA plans to do anything if there is a legal recourse. -
Terry has a great range. Very laid back down there. Rifle goes to 300 yards about. Strategic Edge in Chapel Hill is very nice and is below what you listed. If your a vet, senior, or live far away, he discounts the membership fees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The problem I have is getting the Thai and Indian restaurants to give me true Thai or Indian hot because they think I don't know how hot it really is. For me, the pepper heat is a big part of the flavor. I've had one Thai restaurant to actually get it right. But I've been many times and they're just too inconsistent with their heat, so sometimes it's American hot and rarely it's authentic Thai or Indian hot. -
They should be looking at the FNH FNX 45 Tactical http://www.fnhusa.com/l/products/handguns/fnx-series/fnx-45-tactical/
