  1. Why not wait for the free Windows 10 upgrade? It's supposed to be more like Win7 if I recall correctly.
  2. I'm going to test them out before I pass judgement. On YouTube the only issues I found were with cheap steel cased ammo.
  3. Trigger in Sig 716. Pictures suck, but too lazy to pull out the Nikon DSLR, so cell pics will have to do. Not sure if these cell pics are good enough to see much, but here they are anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Some of the junk came in yesterday... Already installed the S3G in the Sig 716 with a once fired brass case in the chamber to give the FP something to hit. Man, all I got to say is with the 3.25lb spring, it's sweet! I can't WAIT to hit the range with this thing! I'm pretty sure I'll put the SD3G in my Mega pistol build.... Now I'm kicking myself for not buying a couple more of these things while they were cheap! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nice!
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bCLNum-pug You'll note in this video, the guys still laid down with the mag, but used the gun's side mounted backup sights. Technology, ingenuity and training solve a lot of issues.
  7. How does the trigger you bought compare to the Hi-Speed National Match - Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) Trigger? Which is better IYOP? I need to choose one for my dad's Ruger SR556, that has the most horrible factory trigger I've ever felt on an AR15. I really don't know what the difference is in the Super 3 Gun (S3G) Trigger versus the Super Dynamic 3 Gun (SD-3G) Trigger except the shape of the trigger itself. I tested them both at the NRA convention and I swear the S3G felt lighter and shorter than the SD3G. That's why I bought them both. I'm going to test them and see which I like best. Then I'll compare it to my Tac-Con 3MR as well.
  8. It's not about the weight, it's about the fire suppression and capability to stay engaged in the fight without as many mag changes (for military).
  9. Any of you guys get one or more of these yet? :hyper:
  10. If you sign up, they're also emailing out 15% off coupons...    I tried it on the 50% off mags, but it didn't except it for that sale item.
  11. Surefire has their 100 round mags on sale for 50% off, so $89.50 each.   http://www.surefire.com/tactical-equipment/high-capacity-magazines/mag5-100.html   I ordered two myself.
  12. ALG AKT is out of stock everywhere. :(
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=27&v=G0yO0KMBfVw https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=180&v=7TKfefE40l8 Looks like a really nice trigger for the money.
  14. This is it? http://algdefense.com/ak-trigger-akt.html
  15. Nice! And it's not expensive. Perfect for the AK47! Soon as I find one I'm going to order it.
  16. Just ordered a Super 3 Gun (S3G) Trigger and a Super Dynamic 3 Gun (SD-3G) Trigger!  :woohoo:   You saved me a chunk of cash! Thanks!
  17. It's crazy how far down the crapper Walmart has gone. I think it has a lot to do with their wages being so low and they way they treat employees now versus when Same was alive and running it. When you pay such low wages that most decent folks who want to work, won't even consider filling out an application (for mostly $7.65 an hour and part time positions), you get the general pissed off don't give a crap about anything employees. On top of that, you might also be encountering some anti-gun employees. Fwiw... I bought a Plinkster from The Old Fort Walmart in Murfreesboro some years back. It's a decent shooting little 22. Very light weight. Enjoy it. I'm probably going to sale mine since I have a Ruger 10/22 with heavy target barrel now. I probably only shot 60 rounds out of the plinkster to date and it has sat in the closet in the box most of its life.
  18. Well this is interesting... Do we have a law like “going armed to the terror of the public” in Tennessee?
  19. Trigger. https://vimeo.com/132566061 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. After looking at how the trigger works, I think I could polish it to make it more smooth. Anyone ever try that? Let me get a video up...
  21. Well, this was interesting as an AK noob... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdB2ng5pq-U
  22. The steel mag it came with feels really strong. The MAGPUL mags feel a bit fragile in comparison. That's why I asked. The AK Pistol was supposed to come with two steel mags, but when the FFL opened the box there was only one, so I grabbed those two poly MAGPUL mags for spares. Any idea where I can buy these steel mags like what came with the gun?
  23. Just tried out Goodlettsville Gun Shop and they were nice, fast and did the whole background and transfer for $35.
  24. How do you AK guys like the MAGPUL AK mags? I picked up two at Goodlettsville Gun Shop when I did my transfer on the AK Pistol. They seem a bit easier to get in and out than the steel mag. But just wondering how reliable they are being polymer.
  25. Well here that crude mofo is. Definitely not an AR. And the trigger is horrible. That's my only complaint. But maybe AR triggers have spoiled me and this is normal for an AK? See video: https://vimeo.com/132498691 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
